Pros: Bat had good pop right out of wrapper with little to no vibration. The bat I purchased was a 27/16 which is a really good fit for kids moving up to machine pitch from tee ball and allowed my son to control the head of the bat more consistently.

Cons: This bat was purchased for my 7 year old who Is small for his age. He has been the only kid using the bat. we are have way through the season and the bat has numerous dents and flat spots from him hitting with it. No 7 year old should be swing the bat hard enough to dent bats like this. For the price you pay, you should be getting a full season of use out of it!

Pros: Help improve my son swing, he's been Poppin balls in the Outfield and when he doesn't pop it in the Outfield, the balls that are on the ground, are line drives. My son is a small skinny 10 year old and and the bat works great. His bat swing and Power you can see with this bat. He has hit over 500 balls especially with his batting coach and I have not seen no dents, just scuffs. Plus it's a colorful and so far good investment. My son says "It's an incredible bat."

Cons: When my son doesn't hit the ball well he'll get a little sting, but that was probably 5 swings out of a hundred. But really, it's too soon for me to give any cons.

Pros: My 7-yr-old son's regular season bat (another brand) seemed to have lost its pop after two spring seasons of machine-pitch Little League...so I rewarded him with this new Easton Beast Speed and had it shipped to arrive a day before his first all-star game. It initially looked good, felt good, had a nice sound and pop, compared to the worn out bat we'd been using.

Cons: It was dented and had to be shipped back after one week of use. My son is not a big kid or a power hitter and he only hit regular baseballs with this bat. He's very careful with his belongings and did not misuse this bat. I'm not sure how in the world it happened but I was disappointed this bat did not hold up. Maybe it was just a fluke and was the one-in-a-thousand that came off the assembly line with some weaker-than-spec metal.

Would you recommend this bat or the Easton Elevate? I have a 6yr old going into 7u coach pitch/kid pitch that currently swings an Axe Avenge 26/15. Armando Merino

I would recommend this Easton Beast Speed -11 USA Baseball Bat: YBB19BS11 as it will have a lower swing weight and will be more controllable than the Easton Elevate model. This is a result of the New Speed Cap which balances out the Easton Beast Speed.

Both bats will have a similar amount of pop. The USA certification only allows a certain amount of performance, so nearly all USA bats will perform at the maximum allowable level. If you hit the ball square on the barrel, there will be no real noticeable difference in distance.

What is the difference between the Beast Speed -11 (YBB19BS11) and Beast Speed -10 (YBB19BS10) beyond the obvious color and single oz drop variation? I'm surprised Easton creates two models with such similar specs. Brent

The only difference between the Easton Beast Speed -11 USA Baseball Bat: YBB19BS11 and the Easton Beast Speed -10 USA Baseball Bat: YBB19BS10 is the drop variation. Otherwise, they will have the same feel and performance.

Would you recommend this bat for a eleven year old? My son used a two-part Easton S2 bat last season, and he did really well with it. But it's time to move up. He is in between a 29 and 30. Just curious as to bat to buy, usssa bats are no longer allowed in his league. Lawrence
