Softball faith player
Pros: great pop in it, love the colors, great flexibility. Great bat all around.
Cons: dont really have anything bad to say!
xeno plus brad parent
Pros: good pop, gives a smaller player 25 to 30 feet more distance, good sound when ball strikes bat
Cons: nothing bad to comment on yet.
So Far, So Good Angela parent
Pros: We don't have much experience with composite bats, but this one seems to be a good one. It definitely helped my 9-year-old to hit the ball a lot farther than with a metal bat. It feels a little heavy, but it doesn't seem to affect her performance when batting. She really likes the colors of the bat.
Cons: None yet. We've only had the bat a few weeks and haven't used it in a game yet, just for practicing.
Very happy... Chris parent
Pros: We bought this bat after borrowing a similar one from a friend. First weekend we used our new bat, my daughter hit .556 on the weekend with 3 triples and a double. The pop is great the feel is solid. She loves it! I rated durability a 3 simply because I haven't had enough time to measure that yet.
Cons: None at this time.
Good Bat TJ parent
Pros: Great feel, nice pop. Much better quality than the 2015. The staff at Louisville slugger was also great replacing the 2015 model within days of returning it, with a new 2016.
Cons: This was actually a free replacement for the 2015 Xeno and overall it's much better but the end cap is starting to separate from the barrel so I'm no sure about the overall durability.
2016 XENO PLUS Bobby Christopher coach
Pros: We just received this bat and have not had a chance to break it in completely yet. I will say that the first hundred or so swings that my 7 year old has taken with it sounded great, and had much more pop than her aluminum bat! I look forward to starting our cage practices this week with it.
Cons: None yet!
Awesome Bat Ty parent
Pros: Bought this bat when it first came out, on back order for 2 weeks, my DD has swung the CF5 and the Mako, but this bat is awesome. It's hot out of the wrapper, the ball jumps off this bat, hitting the fences and now going over the fences. She's 15, 5ft and about 120. She loves this bat. Highly recommend
Cons: None yet
Boom scott parent
Pros: We got the bat last week, did one round of BP and it was obvious that this bat it legit. My daughter is 11, is 5' 89lbs and she hit 4-5 balls higher and farther than I have ever seen her hit. The 2016 Xeno has serious POP.
Cons: nothing yet
First At Bat With This Bat Mike parent
Pros: Got the bat at 3:00 pm ....Game At 5:00pm ....First At Bat of the game ----MONSTER HOMERUN over the wall!!!!! ....My daughter likes this bat better then the 2015 which was a concern from her going with this 2016. Only thing she says is that it sounds different on contact
Cons: None

Cons: None
Hopeful Anxious father parent
Pros: Awesome so far. Daughter's first hit went one hop to a fence 180 feet away. She loves the look, feel and the sound.
Cons: Just waiting to see how it holds up. Her last Louisville Slugger snapped off at the handle after 6 months of use.
Love this bat! Jesse Wilhoite parent
Pros: All the above is good about this bat.
Cons: Paint chips easy on the bat if there was a con.
This bat is legit! Gregg W. coach
Pros: We have used all the big name bats. This bat is by far the best! The pop on this bat is unreal, it is the hottest bat we have used. My daughter plays on an 8u travel team and after we bought this bat all the other girls tryed it out. Now about 3/4 of the team has bought the same bat! I'm seriously thinking about buying another 2016 and putting it back fir later!
Cons: none at this point
1 22 player
Pros: This bat is awesome!! I personally haven't gotten to use mine but other girls on my team have one and its absolutely INSANE!! This ia thw bat our star player hit the ball over the fence that would have gone over 3 fences at thw field we were playing on!!!!!! There ate so many home runs on oir team with this bat!! I'm the fourth person to buy one just on my team!!
Cons: The grip isnt amazing but that can be fixed!!! Other than that NOTHING!!!!!!!!

About the Brand
In 1842, J. Frederick Hillerich emigrated with his family from Baden-Baden, Germany to the United States. Eight years before, the 1834 Book of Sports had made its debut as the nation's first publication covering baseball. But when he arrived in Baltimore, J. Frederick Hillerich would never have dreamed of the future impact his family would have on America's favorite pastime.
After a short while, the Hillerichs moved to Louisville, where J. Fred started a woodworking shop in 1856. Two of his sons, Adam and John Andrew "Bud" were born in the United States and would later join their father in his business. By 1864 "J.F. Hillerich, Job Turning" was in operation and filled orders for businesses by custom-turning everything from balusters to bedposts.
The firm thrived, and by 1875 the little woodworking shop employed about 20 people. In 1880 Bud Hillerich, who was an amateur baseball player, became an apprentice in his father's shop. Young Bud made his own baseball bats along with bats for several of his teammates.
The debate over the origins of the first bat continues to generate controversy among baseball enthusiasts, but the younger Hillerich was most certainly involved in getting his father's business involved with what would become the company's signature item. According to company legend, the first bat was turned by Bud for Pete "The Old Gladiator" Browning in 1884. Browning was a star on Louisville's professional American Association team - the Eclipse. On a spring afternoon Bud, then seventeen, witnessed Browning break his favorite bat. Bud offered to make a bat for his hero, and Browning accepted. After the young wood shop apprentice lathed a quality stick from white ash, according to the story, Browning got three hits with it in the next game.
Louisville Slugger gloves are worn by more pitchers in Major League Baseball than any other glove.
