Bat Benefits
Easton is staying true to the 2-piece, all-composite design that has carried the Ghost Double Barrel bat through a number of seasons. However, they have updated the composite material that is used for the bat and they have also updated the connection piece.
For the barrel, Easton is using the new Sonic Comp material. This composite allows for an extremely low barrel compression that should send softballs flying all over the diamond. As well, don't worry about it going over the performance threshold. Easton has built it so that it should remain within the guidelines set forth by all fastpitch governing bodies.
The ConneXion technology that fuses together the bat's barrel and handle has been revised to be stiffer. A stiffer connection will typically lead to more power potential for batters. And at the same time, that updated ConneXion tech should prevent nearly all vibrations from getting to a player's hands on a miss-hit.
This drop 11 size of fastpitch bat will be great for young ladies who want to have a top-quality composite fastpitch bat, but aren't quite ready for the heavier sizes of bat yet!

I have two girls that play softball. One is 14 and one is 11. My 11 year old just turned 11 and has been using a -11 demarini in 10 u travel ball. She has hit 6 over the fence homeruns so far. I love the balanced feel of the -11 and her ability to generate a lot of bat speed. Some people say that the -10 will have more pop than the -11 but my question is do you think that's true? I have a hard time going away from the -11 after watching 6 balls leave the yard convincingly but I'm no expert softball guy either. What do you think? Parker Harless
