Amazing bat!!!! Gabe itch Coach
Pros: -it has a sweet spot the actual size of the barrel -connection is very stiff flex -it has really good pop after about 70-80 BREAK IN swings -hits NUKES!!
Cons: -the connector is the same as the prime and the prime connector is very delicate and not durable - too many similarities to the -10 prime Has a little bit of vibration much for a stiff flex fireflex connector
Meta-Crush Alex S. Player
Pros: Balanced swing, ball jumps off the barrel.
Cons: None

Cons: None
HOT!!!!!!! Scott Coach

Youth 11u Francis Niemerg Coach

Cons: -
Broke after 9 days J. Mizell Parent
Pros: Great pop! Great Feel and balanced well.
Cons: This bat broke after only 9 days. We were at a tournament and my son hit a ball to 2nd base and the broke half up the handle towards the top of the grip. My son hits well but is only 8 years old so i would think its not an issue of overwhelming power from the swing. Louisville needs to find a way to keep these bats together longer.
Is your kid ready yet? Bryan Coach
Pros: The Meta -10 was made for above-avg hitters that make solid contact. The Meta provides a unique sound when the ball is squared up. Unmatched distance and feel for hitters with higher swing speeds and proper timing. This bat has one mode: FULL SEND. Can your kid/player unlock it?
Cons: This bat is not for every player. Requires a higher swing speed and around 75-100 "solid contact" break-in swings. Younger or smaller players would be better suited with a non-composite (Cat 8/9) with a more forgiving barrel
Over the fence! Colton Vasko Parent
Pros: I knew my 10 year old had it in him, but this bat sealed the deal and my kiddo was able to hit his first over the fence home run this year. I often find myself picking up my kiddos bat just to hit a few because the pop is absolutely amazing. I've always been a big fan of Louisville slugger and this bat has it all.
Cons: Nothing so far, and I don't expect any.
?????????? Joe Parent
Pros: Once broken in this bat is absolutely ??!!! Very balance Very light swinging Tons of pop!!!
Cons: Takes a while to break in
Home Runs Kyle Parent

Cons: A little pricey

Pros: Great sound. Great pop. 11 year old loves this bat.
Cons: Too soon to tell. Paint is starting to chip a little.
1st USSSA bat Eric Kies Parent
Pros: My son is 10 and plays both little league and travel ball. Last year he used a 28/18 LS Prime for both leagues, and decided this year to get a USSSA bat for the travel games. We jumped up a size to the 29/19 Meta and he says it feels very similar to the Prime despite being longer and weighing slightly more. I can't speak to durability since we just got it, but his Prime held up well over the course of a very long season. The ball seems to come off the bat well, but I haven't measured exit velo comparing the two. Overall he loves it and is looking forward to using it in games next spring.
Cons: Only con so far is the cost
Goat Bob Player
Pros: Good
Cons: None
Great bat Justin Coach
Pros: Son uses this bat for travel ball loves it same with the other kids taking swings with it.
Cons: Connection piece came loose.
Great Bat Steve Player
Pros: I love this bat, the only problem is that the bat doesn’t have that much durability
Cons: No cons
Full tournament and LL season review Brian Coach
Pros: MY son(age 10) is very happy with this bat. The pop is insane. son says it is a bit heavier than the Demarini CF but does not bother him as he feels its better built. Grip is really nice. We properly prepared before using in games. We also would not use this bat with batting machine balls. Last practice he hit a few that we physically measured 240+. Other players have the newer META, does not seem like the same quality.
Cons: SLIGHTLY heavier than Demarini CF
Balanced and Hot Todd McKittrick Coach
Pros: This bat needed a little breaking in to see the real exit speeds. Sound is very solid. The most balanced two piece composite bat.
Cons: Needs a couple hundred cuts to break in.
Very happy Brian Coach
Pros: This bat has been used for a season of 11 game rec league, 5 game fall ball and 7 travel tournaments along with continued use right now for indoor training. There is a TON of hits on this beast. We wanted something close to the CF without the durability issues. It is slightly heavier than the CF. Son had his best season for power along with consistency throughout the barrel. I did do a proper break in of about 200 hit walkthrough. Held up well at lower temperatures and did not use below 60 degrees. This summer he hit two measured shots of 250 feet at 11 years old. I plan on buying him another soon due to his heavy use. Thank you to Just bats, they were excellent and had no issues. We love the knob graphics you can add.
Cons: We have not seen any after one season.
Buy something else Mike Parent
Pros: Good pop
Cons: Bat broke in half lon the handle just after 1 yr warranty expired. Company didn't care and refused to help. Bat was in good shape and not abused

About the Brand
In 1842, J. Frederick Hillerich emigrated with his family from Baden-Baden, Germany to the United States. Eight years before, the 1834 Book of Sports had made its debut as the nation's first publication covering baseball. But when he arrived in Baltimore, J. Frederick Hillerich would never have dreamed of the future impact his family would have on America's favorite pastime.
After a short while, the Hillerichs moved to Louisville, where J. Fred started a woodworking shop in 1856. Two of his sons, Adam and John Andrew "Bud" were born in the United States and would later join their father in his business. By 1864 "J.F. Hillerich, Job Turning" was in operation and filled orders for businesses by custom-turning everything from balusters to bedposts.
The firm thrived, and by 1875 the little woodworking shop employed about 20 people. In 1880 Bud Hillerich, who was an amateur baseball player, became an apprentice in his father's shop. Young Bud made his own baseball bats along with bats for several of his teammates.
The debate over the origins of the first bat continues to generate controversy among baseball enthusiasts, but the younger Hillerich was most certainly involved in getting his father's business involved with what would become the company's signature item. According to company legend, the first bat was turned by Bud for Pete "The Old Gladiator" Browning in 1884. Browning was a star on Louisville's professional American Association team - the Eclipse. On a spring afternoon Bud, then seventeen, witnessed Browning break his favorite bat. Bud offered to make a bat for his hero, and Browning accepted. After the young wood shop apprentice lathed a quality stick from white ash, according to the story, Browning got three hits with it in the next game.
Louisville Slugger gloves are worn by more pitchers in Major League Baseball than any other glove.
