Description
Louisville Slugger RXT -10 Fastpitch Softball Bat: WBL2448010
Deliver top pop at the dish this season when you roll up to the batter's box with a Louisville Slugger RXT in hand.
Bat Benefits
The RXT is a 2-piece, all-composite fastpitch bat and is a really neat bat for the Louisville Slugger Fastpitch line because it brings together great aspects from a couple of their most popular bats: the XENO & the LXT.
Slugger's Spring Loaded Connection point that they put on this bat provides for the stiff feel (lack of flex between the barrel and handle of the bat) that you will find on the XENO. Girls with a lot of power in their swings have gravitated towards XENOs because of the stiff feel, and they will grow to love this RXT for that similar stiffness. Power hitters usually like a stiff feel on contact because they feel as though all their power goes into the softball and little-to-no power gets lost in a flex between the barrel and handle (which can happen on a lot of 2-piece bats).
Also, due to the advanced Spring Loaded Connection system, the vibration that could get down to a player's hands on a miss-hit will be limited. The LXT is known for being an extremely comfortable bat with which to swing. This RXT should rival the comfortability of the LXT (But there have been some reviews that say the LXT is still a slight tick more comfortable than this RXT).
And lastly, the RXT will be balanced in its feel, making it a great option for contact and power hitters alike!
Warranty
This bat will indeed be covered with a twelve (12) month warranty extended by Louisville Slugger. If you get the bat and notice something wrong with it before 12 months have passed from the purchase date, please let our Bat Experts know about the situation. The Bat Experts are knowledgeable about the warranty replacement process for Louisville Slugger and they will get you the information needed to begin organizing the bat replacement process!

Reviews from my granddaughter Gwen Wilson Other
Pros: Granddaughter loves it
Cons: None that I have heard
Rtx Kiley Wallace Player
Pros: Has a lot of pop feels great to swing it’s a very balanced bat
Cons: Paint chips easy
Smoke Show Devin Parent
Pros: This thing brings the heat! In her first AB she sent one off the fence for a triple. She claims she can't "miss" with it, and if confidence is half the battle then we're halfway there.
Cons: Meh, nothing much.
Bat Broke Player
Pros: The RXT is a great bat
Cons: It literally broke the first use
was good until it broke sierra Player
Pros: has a good pop to it and very good grip
Cons: broke within a week of usage. the whole inside of the bat completely shattered.
Beware - Slugger doesn't make these anymore Jesse Parent
Pros: Only took three swings before it developed a loud rattle, so unable to accurately assess anything other than durability. See note in "Cons" below about the warranty claim.
Cons: After the third swing out of the wrapper, the bat developed a loud rattle. Louisville Slugger doesn't make the RXT anymore, though, so they'll only replace it with a Slugger or DeMarini of equal or lower MSRP. Be sure to consider that if the RXT is really the bat you want.
First home run Jennifer Parent
Pros: Bought this bat for my daughter and first game she hit her first home run she loves the feel of the bat and how it handles
Cons: None as of right now
One week Tracy Stagg Parent
Pros: It's a beautiful looking bat.
Cons: It lasted less than a week. Shattered breaking it doing tee work.
Poor Quality Angie Parent
Pros: Looks nice and feels good.
Cons: We have gone through two of these bats this softball season. The first bat started rattling after about a month. Company replaced immediately. Second bat started rattling the first time she used it, 5 hits..... THIS BAT IS JUNK DO NOT PURCHASE.
Just getting broken in Anthony Parent
Pros: Initial pop has been good. My 10u daughter used it the last few games of rec league and really liked it. This bat seems to have more end weight than the LXT. It sounds a bit different than the LXT. I was surprised when my daughter used it in her first game. The ball bounced off the bat.
Cons: Only just breaking it in and my daughter loves it so far.
Ghost!…why? DW Parent
Pros: Great bat for the money. How many D1 players now use Louisville. Who needs a ghost!!
Cons: Haven’t found any yet.

About the Brand
In 1842, J. Frederick Hillerich emigrated with his family from Baden-Baden, Germany to the United States. Eight years before, the 1834 Book of Sports had made its debut as the nation's first publication covering baseball. But when he arrived in Baltimore, J. Frederick Hillerich would never have dreamed of the future impact his family would have on America's favorite pastime.
After a short while, the Hillerichs moved to Louisville, where J. Fred started a woodworking shop in 1856. Two of his sons, Adam and John Andrew "Bud" were born in the United States and would later join their father in his business. By 1864 "J.F. Hillerich, Job Turning" was in operation and filled orders for businesses by custom-turning everything from balusters to bedposts.
The firm thrived, and by 1875 the little woodworking shop employed about 20 people. In 1880 Bud Hillerich, who was an amateur baseball player, became an apprentice in his father's shop. Young Bud made his own baseball bats along with bats for several of his teammates.
The debate over the origins of the first bat continues to generate controversy among baseball enthusiasts, but the younger Hillerich was most certainly involved in getting his father's business involved with what would become the company's signature item. According to company legend, the first bat was turned by Bud for Pete "The Old Gladiator" Browning in 1884. Browning was a star on Louisville's professional American Association team - the Eclipse. On a spring afternoon Bud, then seventeen, witnessed Browning break his favorite bat. Bud offered to make a bat for his hero, and Browning accepted. After the young wood shop apprentice lathed a quality stick from white ash, according to the story, Browning got three hits with it in the next game.
Louisville Slugger gloves are worn by more pitchers in Major League Baseball than any other glove.
