Cons: I square the ball up and it doesn't go farther than middle of the outfield, I go and swing my friends meta and constantly put the ball over the fence. Not worth the money

Glad I researched the Victus Vandal! Jim Frandsen Parent

Pros: This is my 14 year olds 1st BBCOR bat and the Victus did not disappoint! He is 5ft and only 110 lbs and for a 31" 28oz it is very well balanced and the pop was hot right out of the box. He is looking forward to trying it in games this spring.

Cons: None yet. We practiced with it indoors and the loud pop catches you off guard at first but sounds as cool as it looks!!!

Lightest Swinging BBCOR Bat John Parent

Pros: Purchased the 31/28 version of this bat for my son who is a small 8th grader playing baseball in the spring and wanted to move to a BBCOR bat before moving into high school in the fall. He's a contact hitter who benefits from a light swinging bat. He'd previously hit a -5 CAT 8 and I would say that the two bats have very similar swing profiles, though the CAT may be slightly more end weighted. He probably has 500 swings with the Vandal now and loves the look, feel and the grip of the bat.

Cons: Not sure it's a con, but this is not a power hitter's bat and isn't designed to be. It has slightly less pop than more end weighted bats. Because it's a light, one piece bat, it also has some hand sting, but my son said the cushioned grip eliminated almost all of that. The only real con is the sound, which is noticeably higher pitched and louder than any other one piece alloy bat I've heard. Really ear piercing sound when hitting indoors, particularly at higher swing speeds.

My Son loves this Bat Dwayne Oakley Parent

Pros: Purchased this bat for my 12 year old son that moved up to 13u and he loves it. Bat has great pop out of the box and balanced swing. He has swing others players LS Prime, Meta and CAT's, but he prefers this bat to all of them.

Cons: He said the grip was a little spongy and he wanted a lizard skin on it.

So Far, So Good! Dustin Parent

Pros: I just bought this bat for my son who will be a freshman and start playing high school baseball in the spring of 2021. He loves the grip and looks of the bat. During his hitting lesson you can tell the bat has immediate pop. Looking forward seeing him in game action with the Victus Vandal.

Cons: It’s really not a negative but the bat is loud. His hitting lessons are inside a small warehouse. The noise the bat makes when it connects with the ball can be piercing. Not sure it will be that loud once we start playing outside.

Pros: Great feel and even better pop. This bat absolutely slaps and I am blown away by the power now generated by my swing! The cosmetics of this bat is what gravitated me towards this model but the performance of this bat will keep me coming back for more Victus products

Pros: Well balanced bat. Nice feel to it. Looks nice out of box. Decent bat for price.

Cons: Now, only one BP session with this bat, son put 5 over fences. Several seems to die a bit and hit wall. Typical BP on field with meta is 15 over fence.

Best BBCOR my son has swung yet! Chris Parent

Pros: We have demo'd the CAT8 ( this feels very similar but pop is better ) the CF Zen balanced, the Meta Prime and this is the most balanced, lightest swinging bat. Ball explodes off the barrel. It has Meta level pop and performs on a next level! Highly reccomended

Is this truly a Victus made bat or a rebranded Marucci Metal Bat since Marucci purchased Victus back in March of this year? David

The Victus Vandal BBCOR Baseball Bat: VCBV is a one-piece alloy bat with a composite end cap. This makes the bat similar to a Rawlings VELO and LS Solo. As for the brand name, Victus was acquired by Marucci and thus this BBCOR bat was likely manufactured in the same facility that makes the Marucci metal and composite bats. This bat does not show to feature the AV2 knob or an alloy barrel that has been used on any previous Marucci models, thus it is a "Victus" bat.

The Victus Vandal BBCOR Baseball Bat: VCBV will have a similar feel to the Rawlings VELO BBCOR Baseball Bat: BB8V3. Both are balanced one-piece alloy bats. As far as performance, it seems that both are equally as hot as far as pop. The Velo tends to feel little more balanced. Overall, they are very similar bats just made by different manufacturers.

The LS Solo and the Victus Vandal should have similar qualities in terms of balance and MOI as they are two of the better balanced/light feeling models available. We do not have an official MOI rating for this model at this time.

The Victus Vandal BBCOR Baseball Bat: VCBV is a one piece alloy balanced bat that has been performing very well. The Rawlings Quatro Pro BBCOR is a two piece composite slightly end loaded bat. You will see a little more performance with more end loaded bats, but the Victus is still a great option.

How would you compare the Vandal to the 2020 VELO ACP? My son has the VELO ACP now and heard the sweet spot was a tad bigger on the Vandal. Is this true? How is the swing weight, sweet spot and sting protection between these two? Gee

Both the Victus Vandal BBCOR Baseball Bat: VCBV and the Rawlings VELO will have a one-piece alloy design with a composite end cap. This composite end cap will lend a more balanced swing weight feel to both bats. As for differences between the two bats pertaining to sweet spot and swing weight, it would be hard to say if there is any difference. With regards to sting protection, neither bat will offer much in this department on miss hits. That is due to the bats being one-piece; they will not flex on contact.

Both the Victus Vandal BBCOR Baseball Bat: VCBV and the Marucci CAT 7 are excellent one-piece alloy bats to consider in the BBCOR market. The carbon composite end cap on the Victus Vandal BBCOR Baseball Bat: VCBV might make this bat slightly better balanced than the CAT 7. The CAT 7 will offer better vibration control from off-centered hits though due to the AV2 knob. As for barrel size and pop, there would not be a significant difference between the two.

I am considering moving up to either the Victus Vandal or the Rawlings Velo ACP at the 34/31 size to get additional plate coverage and a larger sweet spot.
