In early September, Team USA will once again face off against Team Canada at the 2022 Border Battle. Since its inception in 2009, Team USA has dominated this annual international slow pitch competition boasting a 9-2 record over our rivals from the North. And to honor America's finest slow pitch players, Miken is releasing this Limited Edition Freak USA 14" SuperMax USA approved Slow Pitch Bat!
The Miken Freak USA 14" SuperMax USA Slow Pitch Softball Bat has a two-piece, all-composite construction designed with the serious player in mind. The barrel is constructed from Tetra Core Technology which features a high-performing outer tube & an inner core tube that work together to spring the ball of the bat. A Sensi-Flex Handle is utilized to increase bat speed by maximizing the transfer of energy from the handle to the barrel. In addition, the Freak USA 14" will feature Miken's A1 Knob which is smaller than tradition to allow the batter to let their bottom finger[s] lay over the knob with relative ease. When a batter holds the bat in this manner, it usually allows them to get a little leverage when taking a swing!
Miken has equipped this specific Freak with a 14-inch barrel that will carry their SuperMax load, which will have a fairly concentrated sweet spot due to the end-loaded feel. In return, this will reward well-struck balls with unmatched distance and exit velocity.
Lastly, this specific model will be made with the USA Softball (ASA) stamp and will be ready to crush those 52 COR/300 Compression softballs that are typically used in USA Softball leagues!
Warranty
Miken is willing to offer a twelve (12) month manufacturer’s warranty on this bat. If you have purchased the bat from us and notice a defect on the bat within that original 12 month time period, please reach out to our Bat Experts. They will be happy to get you all the information needed to reach out to Miken to begin the warranty replacement process.
An important thing to remember is that Miken will not accept a bat back for a warranty replacement if it does not have the original serial sticker with it. Because of that, be sure that you save the serial sticker that comes on the bat’s taper when it is first delivered.
