Bat Benefits
Miken has crafted this bat to be USA (ASA) slow pitch certified and it will be good for use in any leagues or tourneys that fall under USA jurisdiction. And as the Miken faithful can assume, this USA-rated Freak bat will be a three-piece, all-composite model and feature the Tetra Core barrel. This special barrel incorporates the use of an inner barrel tube and an outer barrel. These barrels work in unison to create optimal exit velocities for USA slow pitch softball. In other words, this bat should be able to hit a softball up to the allowable limit without going over it.
The barrel was also built to have Miken's Maxload weighting which will result in a slightly end-loaded swing feel. If you have put together a weeknight slow pitch team that has some guys that can swing it well and a few others that are less powerful, this Freak wouldn't be a terrible selection. The slight load should give the power hitters a little extra heft to put into the softball, but the load shouldn't be too overwhelming and thus unusable for the guys who may not be quite as strong.
Warranty
Miken is willing to offer a twelve (12) month manufacturer’s warranty on this bat. If you have purchased the bat from us and notice a defect on the bat within that original 12 month time period, please reach out to our Bat Experts. They will be happy to get you all the information needed to reach out to Miken to begin the warranty replacement process.
An important thing to remember is that Miken will refuse a bat back for a warranty replacement if it does not have the original serial sticker with it. <u><i>Because of that, be sure that you save the serial sticker that comes on the bat’s taper when it is first delivered.</i></u>
