Bat Benefits

Easton has become the torch-bearer for the Maxum technology that was beloved by so many players when it was used on Combat brand bats in the past. This Maxum Ultra will deliver a one-piece, all-composite design that is extremely balanced in its feel.

It is remarkable how Easton makes the bat so balanced in its feel. They incorporate a 2 3/4" barrel diameter and their XXL barrel profile on this bat to create a huge barrel shape. It is indeed going to be one of the largest barrels on the baseball bat market and Easton does say that among one-piece bats the Maxum has the largest barrel shape available.

This drop 10 model will be great for use by players in USSSA baseball leagues as it will have lots of versatility in regard to the age ranges for which it will work. It has a shot to work for players aged between 7-12 years old. And since it is so balanced in its feel, both power hitters and contact hitters should be able to use it with success!

Warranty

Easton has succeeded in being a market leader for baseball and softball bats. And since they’re a market leader, they know that they have to support their customers. Therefore, Easton offers a twelve (12) month manufacturer’s warranty period on this bat. If you purchase the bat from JustBats and notice issues with it before 12 months have elapsed from the purchase date, please let the Bat Experts at JustBats know. Pros: My son fell in love with the huge sweet spot. It is a power hitters dream. Major pop. It doesn't have vibration problems.

Cons: I gave it 5 stars for durability but we have only had the bat a few days so who knows.

Best Sleeper USSSA Bat Leon Trinidad Coach

Pros: Power Hitters dream bat. My 11U USSSA travel team owns them all Demarini CF, Demarini Zoa, ADV, etc. All great choices, this bat came out of nowhere and is winning my team over. Huge barrel and sweet spot, no sting, balanced feel, tons of base hits and pop. I cringe as my son's Zoa sits in the dugout.

Cons: none, durability is not an issue after our winter league heavy use. Heading into spring ball and it's probably just broken in by now.

Pros: Great pop! Minimal break in time. My twin 8yr olds love this bat. It has a huge sweet spot. It’s definitely worth the $.

Pros: Bought for my 9U son. He loves this bat. We have many, many bats in the house (Cat Comp, Mako's, CF's, etc). This is honestly his favorite bat. Very light swinging and ball flies off of this thing. It was honestly pretty hot right out of the wrapper. Sweet spot is gigantic. I am sure that there would be vibration if you get wrung up on the hands or hit off end cap, but the sweet spot is so big that if you can't find it, then the bat ain't the problem. Son is 58lbs and swings the 29-19 version of this bat like a toothpick.

A hidden gem Dad Parent

Pros: our son plays the travel 8U team. 2 years ago he got his hands on a used Maxum 360, and never let it go since. it quickly became his (and his teammates) "to go bat". he grew out of it and without hesitation i ordered a new Maxum Ultra USSA. in his first tournament of the year he was at the plate 12 times, and he had 10 hits with 3 doubles and a triple. the bat is very well balanced, easy and light to swing with a massive sweet spot. he is a small-frame 7.5 yo kid who on average generates 48mph EV out of this bat! any questions?

What is the difference between the Easton Maxum Ultra USSSA and Combat Ultra B2 USSSA? Side by side they look identical, down to end cap and the fact that Combat has Easton's name and patent # on it.

The Easton Maxum Ultra -10 USSSA Baseball Bat: SL22MX10 and the COMBAT B2 Ultra -10 USSSA Baseball Bat: SLPAB210 are very similar bats. Both are one-piece composite bats with extremely balanced swing weights. The composite barrel material is not specified with the B2 and this may be different compared to what the MAXUM features.
