Description
COMBAT B2 Ultra -8 USSSA Baseball Bat: SLPAB28
This B2 Ultra is designed to fly under the radar until the moment of contact with a baseball. And once that has happened, it'll be too late for the defense...a baseball will have been dispatched beyond the fence!
Bat Benefits
With this B2 Ultra, COMBAT is delivering a bat design that has become a unicorn within the baseball bat market over the past few years. This B2 is built with a one-piece and all-composite design.
The composite material will make the bat feel lightweight and the one-piece design will provide a very stiff feel when the bat connects with a baseball. Over the past couple of seasons, it has been discovered that batters are truly appreciating a stiffer-feeling bat when hitting (i.e. bats that flex less between the barrel and handle). The batters have expressed that when swinging stiffer bats, it appears that all of the power from their swing is put into the exit velocity of the baseball.
If you have a player who has outgrown their lightweight bat and is ready for something with a bit more substance to it, then definitely consider purchasing this B2 in the drop 8 size. We have found that advanced hitters at 11-and-12-years-old can usually wield a drop 8 pretty well. And oftentimes, a drop 8 is the perfect bat suggestion for a 13-year-old player. Be sure and note that within 13U division of USSSA Baseball, at least a drop 8 bat is required for use (the only other bats allowed are drop 5 USSSA bats and drop 3 BBCOR bats).
Warranty
There is no need to worry about being left out in the cold if you purchase this COMBAT B2 Ultra and experience a durability issue. COMBAT extends a full twelve (12) month manufacturer’s warranty period on the bat. If you have purchased this bat from us and notice an issue on it within one year from the purchase date, please notify our JustBats Bat Experts. They will get you the information needed so that you can get a warranty replacement bat.

Pros: Balanced, big sweet spot, hot out the wrapper. This bat is as hot as any of the top bats out. Son now prefers it over his glitch
Cons: Nothing we can complain about
Pros: Quick break in, big sweet spot, lightweight/balanced, and a nice colorway
Cons: Nothing so fer
Pros: Good pop Feels juiced Great design Feels like using a rare bat
Cons: Nothing so far
Pros: Bat is extremely hot right out of the wrapper. This bat outperforms my sons ZOA (avg 1-2 mph exit velo is higher with B2). I don't understand how people have not jumped on the bandwagon of the Combat B2.
Cons: Stock grip is not the best, but can be easily replaced.
Pros: 1.decent amount of pop 2.sound is 10+
Cons: 1.stings your hands very badly no matter where you hit the ball 2.the bat is way to light to be a drop 8 almost feels like a drop 12
Pros: My 11U son loves it so far, lots of pop right out of the wrapper. His CF (white/orange … same size 30/22) hasn’t left his bag since he got this bat.
Cons: Nothing so far
Pros: This is the 3rd year in a row my son has used a Combat B2. He is 11 and switched to this drop 8 this season. He is a big kid (5'5" 125lb). He has hit absolute bombs all year. We have finally got another player to switch and purchase a drop 10 and now almost everyone uses either one of the bats all the time. This is a can miss and must have bat!
Cons: It will sting your hands if you hit it off the end. I call it positive feed back, lol! This year the end cap came off with about two weeks left into the season. We have glued it back on about 4 time to finish the year!
Pros: Very light swinging for a drop 8. It is hot out of the wrapper. My son has the Glitch and the pop is similar but the Combat swings much lighter. You cannot be beat the price--it is comparable to $350-$400 bats.
Cons: Some vibration on mishits.
Pros: my kid is on the small side. 4'11, 76 lbs and a very young 13u. Moving to -8 (required) was a minor concern. Bought this bat on a whim as something to use during fall ball, as a hold over until we decide if we were going to go CatX or Zoa again. He's got both in -10, but it turns out he hits this better than either of them! took him about 5 swings get over the fact that it wasn't a "household name" bat, and the grin on his face said it all. Loves the stiff/balanced one-piece feel, huge barrel, great sweet spot, and has pop for days. Coaches love seeing the Combat name again, it's always a conversation starter and he loves having a bat that is a little mysterious. Looks awesome. Swings awesome. Price is awesome. The backstory on the B2 Ultra is awesome. Like the other guy said, it's the best bat that nobody knows about.
Cons: it's a one piece, it's rung his hands up a couple times, but not unbearable. Normally changes everything to Vuk grip immediately, but they're pretty thin material. We opted to keep the padded grip that came stock on this one, to help with the vibration.
Pros: Super balanced bat with a massive sweet spot and tons of pop.
Cons: A little vibration on mishits, but it’s a single-piece bat. If your kid is scared of a little vibration then buy him a two-piece bat instead, and consider changing sports.
Pros: Very balanced and lightweight for a -8 bat. My son swears it feels as light as a -10. Great pop and very quick break in. So far durability seems solid after three months. Awesome sound when you barrel it up. Sounds almost like a wood bat.
Cons: Only a partial con I can see is that if you mishit a ball it will ring up your hands a little bit. Probably a good thing to let your child know that they didn’t hit it anywhere near the sweet spot.
Pros: -so I’ll be the first to tell you “you get what you pay for” i bought this bat for my son for his birthday off of a recommendation from a very trusted friend that this bat was one of if not the hottest bat on the market. Boy did he nail that one. GUYS YOU HABE TO GET A -8 of one of these they are incredibly ?? out of the wrapper it’s hot. I can only imagine when it’s broken in what it will look like. The bat jumps equal if not more than the big market names. Very pleased and would buy again. My son absolutely loves this bat -massive barrel -color scheme is sick -Balanced feel -son went from 29/19 to 31/23 with no issues lighter swing weight for sure with but thump. -grip is really nice would not need to be replaced with better this is good grip. -THE SOUND!! it’s loud distinct sound when you barrel it up you know it. Like music to the ears. -price!
Cons: None so far will buy another to have when this one goes before they run out.
Pros: Well balanced, durable, good pop
Cons: The grip could be better, but besides that nothing else so far.
Pros: Great results with this bat for my son, 12u baseball.
Cons: None
Pros: My son's 13u travel ball team was told that we can only use 1pc -8 bats in the tournaments we'd be playing. I wanted to get a 1pc -8 composite bat and found the Combat B2 Ultra. I read all the great reviews and even called JustBats for their feedback as well. My son has had 2 batting practices with the Combat and absolutely loves the bat. Ton of pop right out of the wrapper and still breaking in. This bat will only get better as we get more swings with it. I would highly recommend this bat and for the price, you absolutely can't beat it.
Cons: My son got his hands rung up a few times, but to be expected for a 1pc bat.
Pros: Cheap, hot of the wrap, big sweet spot, no vibration, great pop, we purchased a second one for backup, can't beat the price.
Cons: No cons.
Pros: Ton of pop . Great sweat spot . Looks bad a$$ . Easy to swing Fairly hot out of the wrapper. Easy to break in. My son has a marucci cat x composite he rather swing the Combat Drop 8 now. Better Performance and bat control.
Cons: Does occasionally ring your hands. When jammed. Very minimal.
Pros: Ball flys off this bat, bought it for my 11yr old and he loves it more than his CF. We got the 31/23.
Cons: Nothing yet
Pros: Great Looking Bat Light Swinging Great pop
Cons: Bright Red/Orange Handle looks silly sticking up out of a bat bag. Barrel color scheme, however, looks nice.
Pros: Super durable and great price. Huge sweet spot that makes that awesome composite smash sound when you barrel one. My son has used the drop 8 through 12U. Because the price is so good, we buy one to practice with and another for games. I just did the same thing with a couple of drop 5's for next year coming up, 13u.
Cons: I don't really have a con. If I'm super critical, it does appear that kids may be getting a little more pop out of their $400 plus hybrids, but I'm good with a couple of these for the price of 1 of those and keeping 1 as a game bat only. I've always liked Combat's products.
Pros: Lots of pop. My son hit two home runs the first game he used it! He also likes how the graphics are understated and unassuming.
Cons: The grip that came with the bed was pretty thin and cheap looking. That is an easy fix. The new grip also helped with the minor vibration.
