This model is going to incorporate a wood that we rarely see on baseball bats any longer: Hickory! When baseball was a developing sport during the late 19th and early 20th centuries, it would be common to find hickory bats in the dugouts of baseball teams. These bats were durable back in the day and that is why BamBooBat has incorporated them into the build of this bat.
BamBooBat has used its extensive knowledge of building bats to construct this unique model. The shell of the bat will be made entirely of bamboo material. However, the inner core will be made with a combination of hickory and bamboo. Hickory is super durable and so is bamboo. You can rest assured that if you get this bat, there is a great chance it is going to last a long time!
In order to get young baseball players swinging wood bats, this bat has been crafted with a youth turn model. The barrel diameter will be smaller (closer to 2 1/4") and this should be able to keep the overall weight down thus making it easier for budding baseball players to handle. Lastly, be sure to note that this bat has an approximate drop 7 length-to-weight ratio.
