Axe has crafted this maple wood model with a special design that should make it durable and ready to withstand multiple seasons of use. Axe achieves this superb durability by encasing the bat with laminate material. When wood bats break, nearly all of them bust at the bat's taper. But with this special Axe bat, the taper will be lined with the unique material and should be able to withstand hits anywhere along its barrel. We cannot say the bat is indestructible, but we do believe that it should be able to last longer than most other wood bats!
In addition to being very durable, the bat will feature a design that will be enticing for many hitters. The barrel is going to have a diameter close to 2-1/2 inches. This will make its barrel bigger than what is featured on most youth wood baseball bats.
