Description

Miken DC-41 14" SuperMax ASA Slow Pitch Softball Bat: MDC20A

This new edition of the DC-41 is ready to provide lift off to all the .52 COR/300 Compression softballs out there. This is the awaited ASA version of the DC-41. The defense will be quaking in their molded cleats as you strut to the batter's box with the bat of all bats.

The pitch is on the way. DC-41 is engaged. Bombs away...

Bat Benefits

The bat is durable thanks to the Tetra Core Inner-Tube. The 100 COMP composite material is sought-after and considered high end. The F2P technology allows the bat to whip through the zone. Lastly, it has the 3-piece design and a hefty SuperMax (1 ounce) endload.

Everything about this bat puts the advantage in the hands of the hitter (as it should be in slow pitch softball).

Warranty

This bat has a 12 month warranty with Miken. Reach out to JustBats if you buy from us and a warranty issue arises. *Be sure that you save your Serial Number Sticker that comes with the bat. ASA Miken DC-41 Rob Wood Coach

Pros: Pretty hot out of the wrapper. It has a big sweet spot, which will be helpful to most players.

Cons: The barrel was heavily scratched after the first day of use.

The Miken DC-41 14" SuperMax ASA Slow Pitch Softball Bat: MDC20A features a full ounce end-load and only has the ASA certification; ASA does not feature a BPF rating of 1.20 (USSSA) or 1.21 (SSUSA). The USSSA models of this bat (Miken DC-41 14" SuperMax USSSA Slow Pitch Softball Bat: MDC20U-GRN & Miken DC-41 14" SuperMax USSSA Slow Pitch Softball Bat: MDC20U-BLK) come in 30 ounce models.
Cameron
How does this bat compare to 2017 ASA MIKEN DC-41? Ray Calvin
The new Miken DC-41 14" SuperMax ASA Slow Pitch Softball Bat: MDC20A will feature the same 14 inch barrel, full ounce end-load, connection point design, and composite barrel technology. Besides the colorway, the only other thing this bat does not feature is the Denny Crine signature.
Cameron
why does it not have an ASA stamp on it? mike
The USA Softball stamp on the Miken DC-41 14" SuperMax ASA Slow Pitch Softball Bat proves it is ASA certified.
Patrick
Someone said that I should only use this bat with specific types of balls. Is this true, and if so, what balls are going to produce optimal results? Marcus Reese
The type of softballs being used in ASA leagues will not cause an issue with the Miken DC-41 14" SuperMax ASA Slow Pitch Softball Bat: MDC20A.
Cameron
Is there any difference between the 2020 DC-41 and 2019 version - ASA? I've seen mention that the 2019 version is a two-piece bat and the 2020 is a three-piece bat. Mel Czeschin
When comparing the specs of the Miken DC-41 14" SuperMax ASA Slow Pitch Softball Bat: MDC20A compared to last year's model, the Miken DC-41 14" SuperMax USSSA Slow Pitch Softball Bat: MDC18U, the change that was made was the addition of the Tetra-Core Technology; employs an inner-tube on the bat that ramps up the compression for exceptional responsiveness (all the while increasing the sweet spot and durability). Both bats are actually two-piece models but some are now listed as "three-piece" bats as they are counting the end cap as a separate piece; there is no bat on the market that will have multiple connection points.
Cameron
I ordered this bat but there is no ASA certification anywhere on the bat. Why? Sam Murabito
ASA certification has turned into "USA Softball" and so that is what will show on the Miken DC-41 14" SuperMax ASA Slow Pitch Softball Bat: MDC20A. This sticker serves the same purpose as the prior ASA designation and can be confirmed on teamusa.org (https://www.teamusa.org/USA-Softball/News/2019/April/12/USA-Softball-unveils-new-equipment-Certification-Marks)
Cameron
Is the ASA version allowed in USSSA tournaments also? Austin
No, the Miken DC-41 14" SuperMax ASA Slow Pitch Softball Bat: MDC20A would not be allowed in USSSA tournaments. It only has the ASA stamp and does not have the USSSA stamp.
Tori
Why don't you offer a 28 oz version of this model as you have done in past years? Paul Rosenbaum
Unfortunately we have sold out of the 28 ounce size of the Miken DC-41 14" SuperMax ASA Slow Pitch Softball Bat: MDC20A.
Cameron
Purchased this bat league was using 52 300 now decided to switch to 44 core cork balls because they thought this would be safer. I have already been breaking bat in before the switch so can’t return it. Can I use this bat or did this league just screw me out of $250 bat. Matt Zaorski
The Miken DC-41 14" SuperMax ASA Slow Pitch Softball Bat: MDC20A is still able to be used with .44/375 balls. However, that ball is harder on the bat and makes it more prone to breaking.

About the Brand

During the past few years, serious softball players have looked to Miken Sports for bats that provide the highest levels of performance and durability. Our relentless focus on both technology and the demands of players has made Miken the most demanded line of softball bats today.

Although composites are the latest trend in softball bats, the technology has been the core of Miken's success since the company's inception. Miken pioneered the modern high-performance composite softball bat in 1998 and has pushed the limits with every model since. No other bat company has driven innovation as hard, and the results are indisputable. Look around. If a player is serious about softball, they are most likely swinging a Miken bat.

The success of Miken Sports has been driven by two forces - innovation and a passion for delivering what players demand. The results are obvious. Players have decided that composites are the future for bats, and no one does composite like Miken.
