Big barrel and ball travels Jeffrey Parent

Pros: Son just got the beast of a bat and it drives the ball. Smack and it’s at the fence. Then off to the batting cage and it draws a crowd. It’s beautiful.

Cons: Having to walk and get balls over the fence. Having people look at you when they here you smack the ball. She is a little heavy but a beast.

Pros: This bat smacks the ball Period!! Huge barrel and sweet spot. Funny watching others in batting practice then my son hits totally different sound and ball travels. He loves one piece bats that deliver more power and you should take the leap!!

Cons: Coaches of his high school coming over and making sure it’s legal!! All 4 Looked at BBCOR rating making sure. Yeah it had that effect.

Pros: This bat has good pop out of the wrapper and looks sweet but that won't last long....make sure you read the cons!

Cons: Very expensive! Guaranteed to break. My son swung this bat for less than 4 months and then it broke. It has stuff rattling around inside and DSB is trying to tell me it is glueballs. What $449 bat has glueballs in it. It now is an unbalanced swing and the ball just dies coming off the bat. I emailed DSB and the exact response back "Yes the bat will break and lasts about 70% of other bbcor bats, but performs at a higher level." Who intentionally buys a bat that will break? I personally never heard of selling or manufacturing a bat that will break!

Pros: Major Pop, best pop I have seen in a BBCOR.

Cons: Breaks easy and won’t last a full season, Bat cracked after 8 weeks of use. Did not use it at any hitting lessons or cages. Game use only

The 2019 Dirty South Bats KAMO BBCOR Baseball Bat: BBKA2 will be a balanced model and because of the BBCOR certification will be legal for high school.

USA/Little eagues that would allow a BBCOR model would have to be middle school aged or higher. I would advise checking with your coach or league commissioner first. Currently, only 50/70 Junior and Intermediate leagues allow BBCOR, according to the Little League website.

Which bat seems to have more exit speed off the bat, the Dirty South KAMO or the Louisville Slugger Meta Prime? hunter

For raw exit speed, the Dirty South KAMO should perform slightly higher since it is a one-piece design. One-piece bats have a stiffer swing to allow for slightly better force transfer to the ball. The Louisville Slugger Meta Prime is a three-piece bat so it will flex slightly more during the swing.

The Dirty South Bats KAMO BBCOR Baseball Bat: BBKA2, since it features a composite barrel, would require a slight break-in period of 150-250 swings. To get this done, simply rotate the barrel after a round of 10 swings off the tee, soft toss, front side toss, etc a 1/4 turn; one only needs to exert around 70% of max swing effort during the break in period.
