My son is swinging a 29"/19 oz sized bat currently. Should we stay at the same length with the Axis or will the 30"/23 oz size throw him off? Asked by dave

For your player, I think the Axis Axcelerator Youth Weighted Training Bat (AXCEL-YTH) in the 30"/23 oz size should be fine for him to use as a training bat (it might be a little large to start out, but I don't think it will throw off your player from his regular 29"/19 oz size. As well, if you wish to get a trainer with which he can grow with time, I think the 30"/23 oz size will actually be the better option. Ben Expert

How much does the bat weigh in comparison to a regulation bat? Asked by edson

The Axis Axcelerator Youth Weighted Training Bat: AXCEL-YTH will have a -8 length to weight ratio. Max Expert

The Axis Axcelerator! A new weighted training bat for players who take their game seriously and really want to get better. What is the advantage of this you ask? Using a heavy bat that feels light will allow you to train without altering your swing in a negative manner. Practice taking normal swings while building muscle strength and improving overall bat speed at the plate. The Axcelerator also allows you to train yourself to control the barrel, hit the ball consistently, and increase exit velocity. Use this weighted bat in batting cage sessions or at practice and you'll notice a difference in your swing right away. If you want to be better and become a better hitter, you need the Axis Axelerator!

This Axis Axcelerator Youth Weighted Training Bat (AXCEL-YTH) features an approximate drop 8 length to weight ratio, an all black with brown colorway, and a sweet spot area that is identified to ensure players are hitting accurately.
