Bat Benefits
With it being a drop 8 bat, this Victus NOX is going to be an excellent consideration for players ready to move out of the drop 10 bats, but not quite ready for the drop 5 models. We think that players from the 11-13-year-old range will be pretty enticed to swing this bat.
Victus built the NOX in the hybrid design. This means that the bat will have an alloy barrel and a composite handle. And since an alloy barrel can feel a little heavy when attached to a composite handle, we do think that batters will find this bat to be a little loaded in the barrel.
The NOX will have the 2SIX (2 Smooth Impact Connection) piece that will limit the vibration that could get down a player's hands. As well, that 2SIX piece will create a stiff feel on the bat when the ball connects with the barrel. Players oftentimes enjoy that stiff feel because they get the sense that all the power and energy from their swing is going into the baseball.
And lastly, the Ringless Barrel design will contribute to a huge sweet spot. If you run into a baseball anywhere on the barrel, you should be experiencing big-time performance!
