Description
StringKing Metal 2 Pro BBCOR Baseball Bat: SKBBM2P
This Metal 2 Pro looks to proudly carry the banner of StringKing within the BBCOR landscape of baseball bats!
Bat Benefits
Between the original Metal Pro and this Metal 2 Pro, StringKing has made some really significant improvements! There will be varying thicknesses on the barrel wall of this new bat. What those different thicknesses do is permit high performance not only on the central sweetspot of the bat, but they allow the bat to perform well even if a baseball is struck closer to the hands or nearer to the end cap. These updated barrel thicknesses will work closely with a longer barrel length (longer when compared to the previous Metal Pro Bat) to build an overall bigger sweetspot on the bat.
Also, be sure to note that StringKing has reserved their finest alloy material for this Metal 2 Pro Bat. If you are looking for what will truly separate this Metal 2 Pro from the regular Metal 2, it is the advanced alloy material used to build this bat! That advanced material should allow this bat to consistently perform right up to the .50 level on the BBCOR scale (max BBCOR performance is .50). As well, StringKing has mentioned that this special material should create a low barrel compression (lower than what you will see on the regular Metal 2) and permit the bat to provide more "pop" to the hitter.

Best Bat For the price Toby Player
Pros: Very stiff, meant for power hitters, Loads of pop and if you have the strength it bangs.
Cons: end cap got deformed but iv had it for 2 years so I'm ok with that.
Great bat! Chris H. Parent
Pros: Price, look, and performance of the bat. My son really likes this bat. It has a sold feel, bigger barrel length, it’s a good balance of weight, he can tell this bat when contact is made with the baseball it’s more of a solid hit compared to his other bats. He and I noticed the difference of the baseball velo off the bat when contact is made. He had this bat for about 5 games and already his batting average is up, hits per game have gone up, and sold contact with the baseball is apparent. He’s really pleased with this bat. And for the price, it’s well worth it.
Cons: Zero concerns.
Great Bat Logan Player
Pros: Great Swing Weight, Good pop, feels durable and I feel confident with it in the box.
Cons: It will ring you up sometimes at the end of the bat but when you hit the barrel it feels great.
My Son loves his new bat Amy Bacon Parent
Pros: Great over all Bat
Cons: n/a
Just as good as the $500+ BBCOR Bats Jerrett Parent
Pros: Balanced swing weight, solid pop, nowhere near as loud as the CAT9, fantastic price. My son has the Goods from last year but I still had to get him something for his bday. Now his entire team uses this bat in games and cages and they’re all asking their parents for one. All the reviews and hype are well warranted and maybe, just maybe the future of BBCOR ISN’T a bunch of $600+ reskinned bats from the previous year
Cons: Grip tape was a little to thick for my sons taste, but easily replaced.
13/14U, swapping to BBCOR from USA -8 Eric M Parent
Pros: My son (5'5"127lbs) is stepping up from a 31" USA -8 to this 32" BBCOR -3 String King. It is definitely a heavier swing feel & is more end weighted than his USA. When he connects, he doesn't even feel the ball - the bat just rolls right through it. He's swinging it nearly every day to get used to it. He hits this maybe another 10ft right now, but knows it will get longer as he re-builds the swing speed. He likes the feel over all and the sweet spot is quite large - just needs to get used to it. (and that's the only reason for a 4 start overall)
Cons: It is a "heavy feel" as a transition bat, but super solid. He's gotten just a few stingers from it in the cage, but very few based on the # of total swings.
Great all around bat Shamus LaCoste Player
Pros: Big sweat spot. Nice grip tape
Cons: Barrel heavy
I love this bat Jeffrey Adams Iii Player
Pros: Very nice sweet spot, very little vibration and lots of pop. Half of my team wants to use my bat now.
Cons: Kinda looks plan, but I am getting used to it.
Great Bat for good price! Keegan Player
Pros: Not too loud compared to the CAT9 and CAT8, good swing weight and feel, definitely end loaded but if you have good bat control you should be fine. Looks fire, love the design with the basic black and white makes it look like a sleeper bat. The first time I had a game with this bat was awesome, I got some nice line drives and it felt like I was hitting nothing but if you hit it towards the end of the bat or in the hands the bat is pretty forgiving but, not as forgiving as something like the META or CAT9. Overall I would definitely recommend this bat for anyone in high school that needs a cheaper bbcor bat, if you can get the base model string king metal 2 I would buy that as there is not much difference between the PRO and the base model.
Cons: Less forgiving barrel on the end of the bat and the hands. Otherwise no cons.
Hit a bomb my third at bat! Andy Solis Player
Pros: Just like the title says! I hit a bomb my third at bat. This thing has good pop. It sounds great too!
Cons: It’s on the heavier side, but it is balanced. It swings great!
Great Bat! hank Player
Pros: Super loud, not very heavy, great pop, little sting on the hands but great pop all over the bat. looks pretty good too
Cons: none

I am a 8th grader and I consider myself to be pretty strong. Would this bat be good for my whole career in high school and, if so, which size should I get? About the Brand
Founded in 2011, StringKing began strictly as a lacrosse sporting goods company. Over the years, they have become experts in everything related to lacrosse sticks. They now build lacrosse stick shafts, lacrosse stick heads & the mesh + strings that complete the head of a lacrosse stick. One of the pillars of business that they established in their early days and continue to embody through today was that they will offer professional-quality products to lacrosse players at affordable prices.
In 2018, StringKing decided to build baseball bats in addition to their existing lacrosse business. Just as they had done in the lacrosse market, they felt that they could create baseball bats that performed as well as anything else on the market and that they could sell these bats at low price points. They created both their Metal and Metal Pro Baseball Bats and launched them on the market in 2018. Trusted sources in the baseball bat market raved about StringKing's initial baseball bats and testing proved that these bats could perform as well as the "best" baseball bats on the market.
As they look to the future, StringKing continues to build on the success that they found with the Metal and Metal Pro Baseball bats. Players can expect to see more top-performing StringKing baseball bats get churned out and they can expect them to be priced at bargain levels!
