Description
StringKing Metal 2 BBCOR Baseball Bat: SKBBM2
The original Metal BBCOR was a dark horse within the BBCOR landscape! And now that StringKing's reputation has been built, they are ready to unleash the new Metal 2 BBCOR bat to the masses!
Bat Benefits
StringKing made real strides with this Metal 2 bat by adding to the great success they had on their original Metal BBCOR bat. This year’s bat will feature the same one-piece and all-alloy build. As well, the alloy material they use on this Metal 2 will be the same as what they used on the original Metal. But the similarities between the two bats end there!
This Metal 2 BBCOR is going to feature varying thicknesses on its barrel wall. By thinning and thickening the walls of the bat in different regions of the barrel, StringKing ensures that this Metal 2 BBCOR will perform well not only on the heart of the barrel, but also closer to the hands and nearer to the end cap. This varying wall thickness will work hand-in-hand with the Metal 2’s extended barrel length (bigger than what was featured on the original Metal) to create an overall bigger sweetspot on the bat!
Warranty
StringKing has made its name across a number of different sports with its high-quality products. Even though they have their hands in multiple markets, they are committed to helping their baseball customers. They express this commitment by extending a twelve (12) month manufacturer’s warranty on this bat. If you purchase this bat from JustBats and notice a warranty issue on it within one year from the date of purchase, please let our JustBats Bat Experts know. They will get you the directions to begin the warranty replacement process with StringKing.

Pros: Nice look, Nice Feel, Good Pop for BBCOR,
Cons: None so far
Pros: Great Bat right out of the box. Big sweet spot. Son if hitting with power now and didn’t have to break the bank to get a great bat.
Cons: None yet
Pros: Great price. Good pop. Very durable. Big sweetspot.
Cons: Stings a little if you manage to miss the sweetspot but that’s not much of an issue
Pros: Swings easy and great pop
Cons: None
Pros: Super balanced A little bit of heft, but easy to get through the zone +/+ pop Little to no hand vibration EXCELLENT price point.
Cons: None so far
Pros: I bought this bat halfway through the season and thought it would take a while to break in before its real pop started showing. I was surprised at my first at bat when I hit it way over the center fielder's head! No walls at the field but if there were it would be close to a home run if it wasn't. Second at bat and I had to foul off a couple and I didn't once get rung up. Vibration was unnoticeable. A very end-loaded bat. (feels heavy)
Cons: The paint chips really easily and it gets marked up a lot, especially if you throw the bat to quickly when you go to run.
Pros: i bought this for my son the week before his last game of the pony season. he'll be going into high school and i thought he should work in a bbcor bat. in his first at bat, home run. he's got outfield power, but didn't think it was fence clearing. he changed it with this bat.
Cons: my only regret is not getting it earlier in the season.
Pros: Cost Pop One of the best 1 piece bats out there for the money. It is very end loaded
Cons: Some vibration on mis-hit balls
Pros: Well Balanced, Good contact, Pop is there!!!
Cons: None
Pros: For it being that cheap and being that good of a bat just makes it better then the rest. Great feel, good weight, huge barrel and overall amazing bat.
Cons: Just a tiny bit of vibration at the hands but nothing crazy.
Pros: My son likes the feel and swing weight. It seems to have good pop on the sweet spot.
Cons: The grip near the handle is already unraveled. My son is tough on grips and I have replaced a great many, but typically we get a little further down the road with OEM grip.
Pros: Good pop and swings well, slightly end loaded.
Cons: Little more vibration than other bats. After my son has used this bbcor bat several times in the cages we have noticed a couple small dents.
Pros: nice look, nice feel, good pop
Cons: there isnt any
Pros: My 1st game with this bat… My 1st 3 Plate Apperances I hit 3 Bombs ?? 2 Right Handed 1 Left Handed. Amazing Bay Control Amazing Pop. *stadium over 300ft*
Cons: No Cons so far!
Pros: Great feel off the barrel. Comfortable taper. Looks clean. CHEAPP
Cons: Will ring you up towards the hands.
Pros: it has amazing pop feels nice in hand lightweight looks amazing
Cons: none.
Pros: This bat has great pop and feel at contact with little vibration. It also has good performance on miss hits. The swing weight is just as advertised slightly end loaded.
Cons: My sons 33" bat actually weighs 31oz technically a drop 2.
Pros: Hits bombs I used it my first tournament and hit two home runs
Cons: Non really
Pros: Right out the box, this bat pops. I needed a bat for my 13 year old son for upper level little league and for the possibility that he'll play high school ball next year when he's in 9th grade. The reviews on this bat were fantastic. The price was perfect. I didn't want to break the bank on a BBCOR bat in case he didn't make the high school team, so to have a bat at this price and to perform like it does right out of the box is fantastic.
Cons: We can't rate the durability accurately as we've had the bat for about 2 weeks, but I just need it to be used this spring and next spring - and I have no doubt that the bat will indeed hold up just fine.
Pros: My 13 yr old loves the feel and look of the bat, but we haven't been able to try it out in a game situation yet due to the CA rains we've had lately. He's used it in the cages and likes the feel of the bat when hitting. Has gotten some compliments on his hitting with it though!
Cons: Haven't been able to use against live pitching yet but more info to follow during the season. He's going from a drop 8 to a drop 3 so it should feel heavier but it doesn't according to my son, not by much!
Pros: Great pop, good price, performs well and feels really nice, great balance, overall a good bbcor for the price and is up there with other great bats.
Cons: None
Pros: * Price * Good feel for swing weight (per 5'9 150lb - freshman) 33/30 * Large barrel
Cons: * Heavier than advertised (very similar to Goods One-Piece) but per other reviews I was expecting something lighter

About the Brand

Founded in 2011, StringKing began strictly as a lacrosse sporting goods company. Over the years, they have become experts in everything related to lacrosse sticks. They now build lacrosse stick shafts, lacrosse stick heads & the mesh + strings that complete the head of a lacrosse stick. One of the pillars of business that they established in their early days and continue to embody through today was that they will offer professional-quality products to lacrosse players at affordable prices.
In 2018, StringKing decided to build baseball bats in addition to their existing lacrosse business. Just as they had done in the lacrosse market, they felt that they could create baseball bats that performed as well as anything else on the market and that they could sell these bats at low price points. They created both their Metal and Metal Pro Baseball Bats and launched them on the market in 2018. Trusted sources in the baseball bat market raved about StringKing's initial baseball bats and testing proved that these bats could perform as well as the "best" baseball bats on the market.
As they look to the future, StringKing continues to build on the success that they found with the Metal and Metal Pro Baseball bats. Players can expect to see more top-performing StringKing baseball bats get churned out and they can expect them to be priced at bargain levels!
