Description
New for the season! The 'Glowstick' from Rawlings is back and bright as ever. The Quatro baseball bat made such an impact during its debut season that Rawlings has decided to bring it back for a second go around. They've pushed the standards of baseball bats to new levels and bat technology to never before seen performance levels that outshine the competition (pun intended). Performance, flex, balance, and ball flight are just a few of the features that the Rawlings Quatro is sure to enhance during each and every at-bat. If you're a contact hitter who can handle a longer barrel, the Quatro is a perfect fit for you. While it does have an extended barrel construction for more plate coverage, a newly designed lightweight end cap reduces unnecessary weight towards the end of the barrel which helps increase overall swing speed and control through the zone. On top of that, the patented hinge system delivers focused flex, which helps hitters swing through the ball and generate unbelievable pop. Yet again, Rawlings is peeling back the curtains, so to speak, and displaying the carbon fiber composite barrel insides through the Tru-View Technology. Between the composite barrel and handle is Rawlings' Vibration Dampening Technology (VDT), also known as the 'Quatro Collar,' which is a silicone-infused collar that eliminates sting in the hands and provides an incredibly smooth feel at impact. The best part? Each one of these Rawlings Quatro baseball bats are made with pride in the USA (patent pending). Rawlings: Above The Standard!
This Rawlings Quatro USA Baseball Bat (US8Q10) features a drop 10 length to weight ratio, a 2 5/8-inch barrel diameter, and the USA Baseball certified stamp. With that certification, this model is approved for play in AABC, Babe Ruth, Cal Ripken, Dixie Youth, Little League, and Pony. Shine bright on the diamond and pick up one of these Rawlings baseball bats today with free shipping and a full one (1) year manufacturer's warranty. Pros: My kid hit a bomb first time he used it. He really likes it awesome pop. I like it
Cons: Nothing yet had it for 3 months
Good Joe Parent
Pros: Nice pop great balance
Cons: None
Rawlings Quatro Anthony Moreno Coach
Pros: Out does the Easton bats, more pop no stinging.
Cons: To early to tell the durability that's why I gave it a four rating, it's only been about 3 weeks.
BEST USA BAT so far Phillip T Lin Parent
Pros: I dont know why the previous reviewer said this thing has a small barrel?!?! Are there any bigger barrels than this in a USA cert? The barrel is pretty big, and this is coming from a parent whos son plays USSSA Travel ball and uses a 2 3/4!! TONS OF POP! Probably the hottest bat for USA right now. (I have yet to try the 2020 -12 cherry bomb Quatro, but I've tried them all!)
Cons: It does swing a tad bit heavier than a 18oz bat but not a big deal. People who complain about durability, just FYI guys, typically HOT composites do not last as long bats with 'high" durability. Its the price you pay for a HOT BAT! Check out all the hottest bats, they always tend to have durability issues due to the HUGE flex in the material. Theres a warranty if thats your worry, but if the 2018 breaks, Rawlings will send you their 2019 version, more durable, NOT as hot! I still have no gotten any issues with durability yet. With the price of where this is discounted to, BUY IT!
Quatro bat Bill Farmer Parent
Pros: My kid loves it.
Cons: None.
Overall Great Tony Moreno Coach
Pros: Good pop, great feel, no vibration
Cons: Only had a few weeks, so get back to you on durability.
2018 Youth Quatro USA Gary Cates Coach
Pros: Great balance and Barrel size
Cons: It’s a USA bat so the Pop is limited
Has a pop right out of the wrapper Bobby Parent
Pros: I was worried it would be dead at first but it has the same pop as the Rawling Quattro bat he had been borrowing that is one year old. My son likes that there is no sting or vibration when hitting. One other player stated to borrow this one right away for the games.
Cons: It is a USA bat.
Awesome Bat Bronson Ammann Player
Pros: A lot of pop, if you hit the baseball in the wrong spot, it will vibrate but not hurt your hands.
Cons: It’s an okay feeling when you grip it, everything else is really good
Dont expect bat to last more than 16 months Jhano Ajemian Parent
Pros: Good bat while it lasted
Cons: My kids bat lasted 13 months and 2 days, after 6 attempts to rawlings customer service I was told that I'm out of luck, they wouldn't even entertain the thought of giving some credit towards a new bat. will never buy rawlings products anymore!!!
2018 Rawlings Quattro Josh G Coach
Pros: Pretty good bat for the price. Good long barrel too.
Cons: None so far.
Huge Barrel and nice pop! Kyle Coach
Pros: Huge Barrel and nice pop! My son (8yrs old) got upgraded from the 2018 Rawlings 5150 -10 27/17. My son loves the way it is super balanced, no sting, not heavy (very close to weight on label), the big barrel size, and the way it pops off the barrel better than his old bat. Today was his first game using the quatro, and he had a shot out to left center, a solid grounder and a line drive between third and short. Pretty good for not breaking it in yet.
Cons: None.
Very nice bat for my kids Charlie B Greene III Coach
Pros: Ez to use
Cons: I have none
Great Bat Jason Coach
Pros: My son is 9 years old, approx. 60 lbs, 29/19: this is the one USA bat that seemed to have the weight evenly distributed and NOT end weighted. He played kid pitched and pop was better than expected for a USA bat but not close to the pop of a USSA bat. Large sweet spot especially when compared to the other USA bats. Vibration free. Great bat for the USA certified bat market.
Cons: He played full season this year 21 games, 16 All star and finished 8 game fall ball, no cons yet
Needs Some Redesign austin vaughn parent
Pros: Loved the bat until it cracked. Got several homeruns out of it!
Cons: Bat cracked really soon after we purchased it.
cracked Wally parent
Pros: No vibration Good pop Light swing weight
Cons: Used by a 10U and cracked, no machine use and pitching is under 50. Will not hold up.
Great Bat, before it cracked JVZ parent
Pros: Bat had great pop and feel. Very well balanced and felt lighter than other -10 bats. His whole LL team started using it. Returned it to Rawlings, they upgraded his bat to the 2018 Quattro Pro in a week
Cons: Had to return the bat after the bat cracked - less than 1 LL season.
good bat ignite baseball player
Pros: good bat has decent pop and has good durability
Cons: it hits weird and doesnt have the best pop i would go with the louville slugger select 718
good bat if it lasts Colby parent
Pros: good pop, wooden bat sound, very little vibration
Cons: cracked within 2 weeks. durability is an issue
wiffle bat Toms River Tides 10u coach
Pros: good pop. feels good to swing. looks nice.
Cons: ive seen better durability in a wiffle ball bat. we have had 5 crack on my team already in 2 months
Not durable Jim Zapf parent
Pros: Nice pop. Looks sharp.
Cons: Breaks easily and quickly. Ours broke in preseason, in the heart of the barrel. Now, we're 4 games in and it's replacement is cracking at the joint, where the two parts meet.
Bat Cracked in multiple places on barrel. Charles parent
Pros: It had good POP before it cracked.
Cons: The Bat worked well when it was all in tact.... My 9 year old used the 30 oz 10 drop bat and he hit a few over the fence but then after a batting practice we noticed there were cracks all across the bat.... It's too bad because he loved it and it has some really nice pop comparative to many of the other new USA bats. Absolutely unacceptable for such an expensive bat. We had to mail the bat back to Rawlings and they had to "test it" and thoroughly review the bat. They determined it was defective and sent me the 2019 Rawlings Quatro Pro.... The whole process took 3-4 weeks in the middle of the baseball season so he had to use a friends bat in the interim. It was very inconvenient. I'll provide an update on the 2019 Quatro Pro when we break it in.
Good Bat, Bad Durability Will player
Pros: This bat has a big sweetspot and great amount of pop for a USA bat. Obviously the bat is not as good as the old USSSA bats but it has good barrel size and good pop for a USA bat
Cons: This bat is the worst in terms of durability. Even though it has good barrel size and pop the bat has no durability whatsoever. It broke in a matter of days so overall I do not recommend this bat
Bat Cracked - 2 weeks after pirchase poor quality parent
Pros: good feel, no vibration, solid pop for USA bats;
Cons: cracked after 2 weeks
2k18 rawlings quatro grant besser player
Pros: Best bat ive ever purchased, large sweet spot, great grip, and sounds incredible. added much confidence to my swing with 3 homeruns so far
Cons: opponents dont like when i use it ;)
Rawlings Needs to Recall These Bats! Scott parent
Pros: My 11U Son bought this bat through his travel team, loved the feel in the cages. Hit it well during winter workouts.
Cons: Before his first game he noticed a small crack in barrel, I told him to ignore it. His second at bat he connected solidly and the barrel basically "crushed". The bat is cracked in multiple places on the barrel, and useless. Rawlings response? They'll happily send us a replacement in 4 to 6 weeks!
This bat did not last. Gabe parent
Pros: My son loved this bat and it worked great for a couple months. Solid pop, worked as advertised, etc.
Cons: After a couple months, the bat cracked significantly. At first, it looked like little spider cracks in the paint job, but eventually they got worse and more numerous until all of a sudden after solid contact, it dented and split. Seems like an issue others are having with this bat.
Ripped after JV parent
Pros: Nice swing, nice pop, my 12 y.o. son loved it, but ripped after one game and three practices. I have not seen the same issues with the other high end USA bats.
Cons: Very poor durability for such an expensive bat.
Al Al player
Pros: like the sound, the pop is good enough, swings heavier than -10 which is good in my opinion, no vibration at all on miss hits
Cons: none
what a bat!!! melinda hall parent
Pros: This is the fiest Rawlings my son has ever owned. We bought this bat for him in January so he could use it for his in door league and now we just had his 2nd game of regular season ball night and he hit his first home run (in a game) with this bat!!! He absolutely loves the feel of this bat and the pop is incredible. i would reccomend this bat to everyone!!
Cons: nothing so far!!
2018 Rawlings Quatro 29/19 Juice coach
Pros: Forgot to mention, this 29/19 feels light, even though I believe it weighs in at 19.7 oz. The feeling is light and end loaded. This is a bat your whole team will want to swing for sure.
Cons: nothing yet
2018 Rawlings Quatro 29/19 review Juice coach
Pros: After 3 BP sessions with my son, this bat is hot out of the wrapper. Balls noticeably jump off this bat compared to other USA Baseball bats. It has a nice sound to it. As instructed by people that use composite bats, I recommend NOT using one when temps are below 60 degrees. I read a few reviews with people saying their bat broke, makes me wonder if they were using it below 60 degrees. I will write another review at a later date.
Cons: nothing yet
Great bat...for a month Bren parent
Pros: My 11 year old loved it. Great pop and no vibration. This is the first two piece composite he is ever had.
Cons: Cracked pretty bad after a month of use. Now we ave to shipnit back and are out of a bat in the middle of baseball season.
Rawlings Quatro Keith K parent
Pros: Nice color. Nice feel on the vibration
Cons: My son had a hard time hitting with this bat and he's a good hitter. To make matters worse, the bat just cracked on us. It was a Christmas present and my son used it for a month. After checking the Rawlings site, this seems to be a big problem with this bat. I would stay away
Rawling Quatro 2018 USA bat Justin M parent
Pros: I purchased this bat for my 12 yr old son playing little league. We chose the 29/10 it has cool colors. He was using another players Quatro in 31/10 but it was too heavy. My son loves this bat. He went 2/2 in first game with a nice drive in right center on his first hit. this bat is well balanced and has pop considering the new bat rules. Quatro has zero vibration when hit and that is a plus. We previously purchased a ghost x and that bat is junk, vibration and ball dies in the infield.
Cons: nothing to report yet
Great bat for a USA bat Rick Leard player
Pros: good sweet spot. no vibrations. my kids feels more confident with this bat in his hands over his other USA bat.
Cons: It is still a USA bat.
quatro coach coach
Pros: The bat had great feel and great pop for a usa bat
Cons: first practice the paint started coming off and by the 4th practice it busted didnt ever make it to a game.
Awesome P parent
Pros: balanced, good swing speed
Cons: Sound not intimidating
Busted! D. Beasley parent
Pros: good feel low vibration
Cons: bat busted after just a few practices
another cracked USA 30/20 Quatro Unhappy Rawlings Customer parent
Pros: The bat looks good and sounds good on contact.
Cons: Cracked before my son made it to his first game (10U). He has hit nothing other than baseballs via tee, soft toss, and a few 9 year old pitchers in practice. Cracked in four places. Only option is a replacement bat that will most likely fail within two months or worthless $300 of Rawlings credit. If you are one of the commenters on here stating it is well made...consider yourself very lucky!
broken bat chris parent
Pros: My son is an 11u travel baseball player. Prior to this year he used a Louisville Prime16 and Demarini Voodoo Overlord 2015 both of which lasted 2 or more seasons, never with any issues. My son tested a bunch of higher end bats at a demo, Ghost, hyperlite, slugger 718, quattro, and Voodoo, he thought the quatro felt the best, at the time of purchase the Zen was not available. we had never purchased a rawlings bat in the past but from other reviews and youtube videos the bat seemed to be getting good buzz. Bat seemed to have decent pop from first swing, nice sweet spot and no vibration when hitting.
Cons: Bat cracked after month and 1/2 of indoor only, tee, soft toss and live pitching use. Craked during a tee seession. He rotated the bat to tey to work it in properly. He never kept the bat out in the cold. The craking issue seems to be common issue if you go onto the Rawlings site, quattro reviews. I DID NOT BUY THIS BAT FROM Justbats WEBSITE
cracked after the 2nd week Lex Mom parent
Pros: feels good snc looks good.
Cons: not durable. cracked in 2nd week of practice. expect more from a $300 bat.
Great while it lasted! basebalbatdad parent
Pros: Son loved this bat, Little vibration and great pop when he was using it.
Cons: Developed cracks in the paint after few months of occasional use then the composite cracked apart.
Boy mom
Pros: Color
Cons: HORRIBLE bat. The first quatro I purchased cracked after two weeks. Warranty dept said there was a 3-4 week turnaround for a replacement. Sent it back for store credit (you can't get a refund). Purchased a second Quatro and it cracked on the first use! Unbelievable. Still dealing with Rawlings on this. They refuse to give a refund on what is obviously a defective model. They are aware of numerous other cracked bats in this model and are refusing to recall this bat. What happened to safety first especially with a product for children. Rawlings, please recall this bat before someone gets hurt. What ever happened to standing behind your product? Now I'm stuck with $600 worth of store credit. Do not purchase this product.
Breaks easy Jack player
Pros: Hands down the best bat I have ever had. Feels amazing and has tramendous pop. A great bat for being in high school.
Cons: The first kne that I got broke in 8 months when the cal flew off. I hit a lot and used it so I was like ok I understand, it got a lot of use. Then I send it in and they send me the 2018 (the first one was 2017). Withing the first two months of having it, I am hitting in the cage, and I no joke hit a hole into the barrell. For an expensive bat they need a lot more duribulity.
awesome bats mike weber coach
Pros: the bat make a awesome sound when you hit the ball .my sim just got it and wanted ti hit when out in cold and watch him hit 3 baseball iver 250ft in 49 degree weather
Cons: none
great bat doesnt last florida dad parent
Pros: ball jumps off bat. son loved the well it felt.
Cons: we have had two of these bats that didnt last 2 batting practice maybe 70 swings each time and they cracked. rawlings was quick in getting bat back but we havent even been in a game with it yet. my son is 10
So far so goood Dan parent
Pros: My son plays 9U travel ball and uses a senior league Velo drop 12 29/17. We had to get a USA bat for Pony league and we went into a store that allows demos. He liked the feel of it and tells me at times it feels better than his Velo. I did get him the 28/18 since it is a drop 10. He comes around on it well. Appears to have comparable "pop" and with these bats the vibration is eliminated, plus my son really likes the grip on the Rawlings bats!!!
Cons: I put 5 stars on durability, it is early yet as we bought this bat a few weeks ago and really have been breaking in during indoor practice with travel team. So time will tell.
Bat cracked after 3 practices Frank P parent
Pros: Cool graphics, good feel, decent pop
Cons: I took my son out to use this bat as soon as we got it, felt good, hit decent with it, but nothing like his Mako from last year. On his first practice, the paint seemed to chip of in an X pattern. Today, on his third practice, it cracked completely in that same pattern. We will be returning this bat for an exchange, and give it another try. Unfortunately, with this new bat rule, we do not have many avenues to explore.
New bat standard Amaya parent
Pros: Great performing bat and no sting. Best pop and over all performance you will get from the new USA line up. Always have had higher end Eastons but this bat out performs the Ghost x. First Rawlings bat and satisfied.
Cons: none
Satisfied AMAYA parent
Pros: #1 no sting which is huge. Great pop and overall performance. My son has always used the higher end eastons and this is the first year we went with another bat . He also owns the Ghost X but prefers the Quatro. Nervous at first to switch from what he has always used but completely satisfied.
Cons: None (from a picky 12yr old)
simply AWESOME!!! joe baseball parent
Pros: pricey but top notch.
Cons: anyone who writes anything negative about this but really knows nothing about bats. this bat is worth every penny
BALL JUMPS OFF THIS BAT SCOTT L. coach
Pros: Ball truly jumps off this bat. Bought for my son leaving Little league and moving up to the next level. He loves it, light as a feather, huge sweet spot. When he got the bat for Fall Ball he was roping balls. It really does jump off the bat.
Cons: Have not seen any as of yet. He has only used for one fall ball season thus far.
cracked after 2 months Daniel Sandoval parent
Pros: good pop
Cons: bat cracked after 2 months
Travel Baseball Coach Central California Luis V coach
Pros: Looks Great, No sting
Cons: I will write this review with respect to the new horrible bat rule generated for 2018. As a travel ball coach, and blessed to be a father of a power hitting 10u player, we both could not have been more disappointed after Christmas. I knew going into this purchase the bats had changed and the trampoline effect was more or less gone. We went through about 200 swings that were moral killers! My kid would crush the ball as a 10U player reaching 250ft on a good shot, with this new Rawlings Quatro Bat, the ball just dies and lands around 175 ft.. THEN, after him chucking the bat to the side, he picked up his Marucci maple wood bat and started crushing the ball back in the 200 ft plus area. In my opinion, if their trying to get these new bats to swing like wood bats, then JUST BUY a wood bat! There are great $100+ wood bats out there!
Feels good Gary parent
Pros: It hits pretty well, we knew it wasn't going to have as much pop, but it has a good over all feel. No vibration at all. If you make good contact it'll travel. It does hit harder than the higher end aluminum USA bats.
Cons: It cracked within the first month. Rawlings did give me a double warranty, so that was nice, and the turn around was quick.
Great Bat for my 9 year old 31" Winter Park parent
Pros: My son loves this new bat. He was swinging a 2013 Mako Torq 30/20. This bat is a 31" but is only a half oz heavier. I must have purchased him a dead bat before. The Mako Torq was used and a 2013. He instantly hit the ball further and it appeared to have more velocity off the bat. Even his private trainer mentioned how it's weird that all we hear is that the new bats won't go as far as the previous but this bat is making him hit harder and further. We are happy with it, for sure. His hands have not been stung once! We know several people that have purchased the Ghost X and ALL of them are complaining. We are happy with our purchase.
Cons: None
perfect bat Mr. T parent
Pros: This bat is so good. My 11 Years son using this bat and he really likes it. No vibration and large sweet spot.
Cons: Non
Cool Bat all around BB dad parent
Pros: My son loves this bat. It has great pop, no vibration and the colors just pop out at you.
Cons: Not a big fan of the grip but you can change it
so far so good Joey Latocha parent
Pros: We got the bat the night of my sons first game and he walked twice then finally got a good pitch to swing at and hit a laser to the gap. The sound of the bat was fantastic a nice loud twang, and the colors of the bat are awesome. I think my son will have more confidence in the bat just because it looks and feels so good
Cons: none yet, but we have been a Easton family for years this is our first Rawlings bat hope it doesn't let us down, honestly the color is what made me buy the bat I was going to get the Easton ghost hope I made the right decision
5 Stars, Excellent bat for youth players JPalmer parent
Pros: Light balanced swing weight for my 8 year old, he gets good pop, no complaints about vibration, eye catching design
Cons: The bat might not last long because everyone on the team is gonna want to use it
As expected Chad Clark coach
Pros: The bat is exactly what we expected. The USA Bat doesn't have as much pop as the 2017 Quattro. But... we expected that. It does how ever have enough pop to get the job done. Great balanced feel. No sting and out of the 50 hits on it, 2 dingers. Our team is always torn between the Quattros and the older Maxxums.
Cons: None. It was exactly as we expected out of a USA bat.
eye catching Matt parent
Pros: After 4 rounds of bp for my 9 year old son. These are our impressions. - No hand sting period - Ball JUMPS off the barrel. Not so much (as expected) off the barrel. -Style points. My son loves the bright colors and overall look of the bat. -Comfortable grip and has no trouble getting around 30/20. Coming from Mako xl 29/19.
Cons: Hard to say because I have no other usa bat to compare yet. -Not as many bombs hit. On the plus side higher contact rate. Probably due to the barrel size increase. (2 1/4 to 2 5/8) The pitches my son got ahold of do carry about as far. -Minor durability gripe. Not sure how well the batting tape is attached. Might have to replace early. Probably more of a bat to bat issue. The bat itself appears solid, but too soon to know.
Overall Solid good performing USA made bat Joe Tambini parent
Pros: Great pop,and solid performing bat. Great high visibility look and awesome grip. My 9U son loves it. He is a contact hitter, and this bat provides great consistency for his swing type. Once in a while he gets a hold of one and the ball just jumps. Also worth mentioning there is never any uncomfortable vibration
Cons: None that I can think of, other than maybe the end weighting has taken my son a little getting used to, but this is his first high performance bat
2018 Rawlings Quatro -10 USA Baseball Bat: US8Q10 Christine parent
Pros: Large sweet spot, has cool graphics, low vibration, excellent grip. One of the few 2 5/8 -10 in 28" with usa bat seal. My son loves this bat and it has increased his confidence tremendously. Once he forgot his gloves and ripped it with ease. No ringing, and that's been an issue for him. Great piece of equipment. ordered at 4 pm was here next day by 12:30. Fantastic express ship.
Cons: none yet Still new so will see how many hits it has in it.
Traffic Cone John Simonas parent
Pros: Cool Graphics
Cons: This bat is terrible. I bought for my son online, (not here unfortunately, because I paid for shipping!) and he tried it for 2 days and we are sending it back. The barrel is incredibly small, there really is no sweet spot and I wonder if it is really even a full big barrel. It looks like a traffic cone when you actually get it. Its also very heavy, not really a -10 like it says. Should have known, Rawlings are great gloves but the bats always stink vs others.

What kind of warranty does it have? Sounds like it cracks very easily. I'm very skeptical about the purchase. What bat has your company seen as a good USA bat? We had the Easton ghost and hated it. Thanks in advance. Chris Tyndall
Can my son hit the weighted sand balls and also hit the practice stick with the ball connected to the end? I heard that Rawlings doesn't recommend using the Quatro at a batting cage, is this true? Other then that awesome bat so far, says my son. Kyle

Is this USSSA certified? Jason

About the Brand
Rawlings is a major manufacturer of competitive team sports equipment and apparel for baseball, basketball, and football, as well as licensed MLB, NFL, and NCAA retail products. Rawlings is a major supplier to professional, collegiate, interscholastic, and amateur organizations worldwide, including the Official Baseball Supplier to Major League Baseball.
The first real innovation in glove making occurred in 1912 when Rawlings Sporting Goods Company introduced the "Sure Catch" glove, which was "endorsed by leading players all over the country." The Sure Catch was a one-piece glove with sewn-in finger channels and looked better suited for a duck's foot than a man's hand. Catchers' mitts used at the time were large and bulky with a single leather thong passing for a web.
In 1920, Bill Doak, a journeyman pitcher for the St. Louis Cardinals, approached Rawlings with an idea for improving the baseball glove from a mere protective device to a genuine aid in fielding. The "Bill Doak" model was so revolutionary that it stayed in Rawlings' line until 1953. Its key feature was a multi-thong web laced into the first finger and thumb, which created for the first time in baseball's young life, a natural pocket.
In 1925, Rawlings unveiled a three-fingered fielder's glove, and ten years later improved the Bill Doak model with a two-piece leather web. At the same time, the "T" web became a rage for first basemen's mitts. The pocket underwent a pronounced change in 1941 when the Trapper Mitt, also known as the Claw, appeared. The "Deep Well" pocket was so unique that Rawlings quickly patented it. The design was improved in 1950 by adding a leather piece across the top. Another significant creation occurred in 1948 with the three-fingered Playmaker. A five-fingered fielder's model, with all fingers laced together, provided greater pocket control.
The six-fingered Trap-Eze evolved in the 1960's. In more recent years, Rawlings produced the Fastback design, which gives a glove a snugger fit, greater extension, and overall control. The Holdster is a slot through which a finger can be extended for additional protection from impacts on the pocket. Then, there is the Edge-U-Cated Heel with its extended U-shaped lacing and the Pro H Web and much-copied Basket Web.
Some of Rawlings's more recent glove innovations also include the unique Spin-Stopper design which reduces ball spin when the ball hits the glove, and the Cantilever glove design feature that provides a cushioned area between the hand and the glove's palm area. In all, Rawlings has produced and patented more functionally innovative glove features and designs than that of any other glove manufacturer. The result is that the modern baseball glove is much larger, more comfortable, better padded, and made to last far longer than its ancestors. It is not uncommon to see today's Major League players wearing the same Rawlings glove they wore during their college playing days. In fact, Rawlings is the #1 glove in the major leagues. Rawlings maintains about 65 models of baseball and softball mitts and gloves in its line. The prototypes of virtually all of them have been field-tested by professionals before entering a sporting goods dealer's inventory.
