very smooth Cody Bear player
Pros: It took about 50 hits before it really opened up. Finally getting hot. Hard line drive's to all fields. Love how balanced it feels.
Cons: Graphics are jacked up. But it's just giving it character
Second SOULTA, loving it Jim Sanfilippo player
Pros: After about only 20 swings I am hitting solid line drives, which is the type of hitter I am. I had a 27 oz. version and decided to get a 28 oz. one. So far, it has been great
Cons: As most people say about these bats, they get dirty quick. I'm not up there for looks, however, I am up there to get hits and I went 5 for 6 in my first game with it so I am satisfied.
seniorsoftballer JimmyV. player
Pros: I have used this bat (30oz) for a year now, and it still performs very well. I have hit several bombs with it, even with lower compression core balls. Decent sweet spot and seems fairly durable. Several team members have used it as well. Has a balanced feel throughout the zone. Seems an even better deal now the price has been reduced! I would buy this bat again.
Cons: Gets dirty quick, and bat wrap needed to be replaced about 1/2 way through the season.
Solid Bat Mark G player
Pros: Good Balance and feel
Cons: Some chips and dents , just normal wear and tear
miken ultra aaron stern player
Pros: great feel minimal break in time great pop good grip
Cons: tape holding on grip peeled before first. other then that no complaints
The Green maxload 750x is way better Nobody player
Pros: The tiny sweet spot does have pop. Pretty durable even against 44/375 balls. Extremely balanced.
Cons: Stings hands if you don't hit down the barrel. Exit speed is just okay most of the time. Played on 5 teams and no one really liked it. The green maxload I have out hits it with no sting.
Hondaf2
Pros: Nice grip. Nice handle.
Cons: Save your money on this log. Spend an additional $20 and get the Miken Triad. No comparison. I wouldn't even use this bat for batting practice. Horrible.
miken ned player
Pros: Great bat, first time out I went 7-7. A lot of speed and control.
Cons: Not a thing.
Great Bat David player
Pros: Thin handle feels great in your hands and great pop out of the wrapper.
Cons: NONE!!
A Spencercitykid
Pros: Definitely has some solid pop, very good quality for the price and sounds great too. I use it in my regulation ASA ball with the improper balls and it works pretty well but played an exhibition game with some seniors who played with the balls it's meant for and what a difference, ball was exploding off the bat. Another great bat from Miken!
Cons: End cap broke off after about 300 hits, all covered under warranty though, so no worries.
rich
Pros: Mine was not hot out of the wrapper, but it heated up. Now the favorite bat I own I hit lasers with it. I like it slightly better than my Miken Super Freak 2011. Great bat.
Cons: Took about 500 hits to break-in, but once it did, I loved it, thought about throwing it out. Don't, great bat.
Mike
Pros: Incredible pop right out of the wrapper.
Cons: None at all
JT19
Pros: HOT right out of the wrapper. I'm 180 and I'm putting this over 300ft fences. very pleased with purchase.
Cons: Gets dirty, but so does every bat so not really a con...
Kmac027
Pros: Just took this bat out of the wrapper today and used it in a game. Super hot bat and great feel.
Cons: Grip was too tacky. I used tape instead and it's perfect.
Danno
Pros: Took this bat out for the first time today. Got in around 50 hits. Bat hits very well out of wrapper. Sweet spot feels large and even hits of end of barrel traveled well. Seemed to open up at around only 20 hits. Best ASA bat I have ever hit with! I also liked the thicker cushy grip, it's thicker than most Miken bats.
Cons: I guess some of you like to keep your bats shinny, that will be tough with this white bat.
beau
Pros: Pretty good bat for ASA when broken-in.
Cons: My roommate bought this bat and we haven't had problems with cracking but the Z-2000 we hit with back home has a whole lot more pop. Feels good, just doesn't fly as well.
poppi
Pros: Good Bat, I have a 28oz couple good hrs I find it works best when its hot outside.
Cons: nothing
dirty d
Pros: Hard line drives, great feel
Cons: End cap came off after 30 swings with this bat, very low durability, calling Miken to get a new one.
Macho man
Pros: Good feel, like the old ultra, freak, and recoil.
Cons: Cracked after about 50 swings, I have swung mikens since they came out and by far the worst miken I have owned.
pc
Pros: Broke a softball with this bat, deformed it.Not yet used in a game yet
Cons: teammates say it hurts their hands when up to bat
LT
Pros: Bat is the real deal. Hottest ASA bat today.
Cons: How long will it stay legal?
j
Pros: Just bought it.
Cons: Hope it doesn't crack or cap comes off like others.
Chris
Pros: Everything! I'm not sure what one poster said about the bat being on the non-approved ASA list. It's on the approved list, I've checked it multiple times.
Cons: It's a white bat, it got dirty playing in the GA red clay very quickly but then again what equipment of mine hasn't?
Anonymous
Pros: Took the bat out of the wrapper at a game and my team hit seven homeruns over the fence that night and we havent hit any over prior. Other team was crying that the bat was illegal. Cant wait to see what it does when its fully broken in. Deffinaltly recommend this bat can't beat it for the price...
Cons: NONE!!!
bats
Pros: Hot out of the wrapper, 2 swings 1 homerun 1 fly out to fence.
Cons: None right now
rich
Pros: Once broke in it hits like my 2011 Miken Super Freak endload, and I love that bat.
Cons: Wasn't hot out of wrapper took a couple hundred swings, but when it broke in, it took off. Great bat
Chris Mcc
Pros: Great Looking bat with a ton of potential. nice grip! very well balanced
Cons: Bat has little pop out of the wrapper, after about a practice with the whole team using it to break it in, the bat came alive, and some big bombs got hit. Then I noticed a small crack, thought it may just be a stress...hit about 5 more balls, and the crack is now about 4.5" long, sending it back to miken. under 200 swings
bronx bomber
Pros: Bat has tremendous pop.
Cons: Had it for 3 month and the cap cracked and popped off.
joemertens
Pros: this bat is sick!!!!! right out of the wrapper i was hitting the ball harder and further! after i had 50 swings i took 10 pitches and hit 6-7 over the fence at at least 325 all the way to 375. highly suggested!
Cons: paint chipped early, but i was hittin in 56 degree weather, wouldnt see a problem in 65 degree weather.
cdarizona
Pros: Great bat, a lot of pop, probably the best bat I have used.
Cons: ASA posted a list of nonapproved bats with a stamp and this bat is on that list.
Bunkler
Pros: Still breaking it in, but feels pretty good. Has nice pop but I think it will get better when fully broken in.
Cons: None that i know of.
seniorsoftballer
Pros: Very hot bat out of the wrapper. 1st at bat was a line shot to left center fence! Like the heavier weight
Cons: Everyone wants to try it out!
dontwannawin
Pros: Feels lighter than 30 oz. Im a little guy with quick bat speed and a little pop. never pulled down left firld line with a 30 before, but i can with this bat. Ordered it on a thursday night, it was there friday afternoon. Only found the sweet spot once, but have hit several bombs off the end cap and a few deep outs off the taper. Love the sound it makes. Highly recommend this bat for anyone, ASA or USSSA, it doesnt matter.
Cons: I found theres not as much pop out of the wrapper as others have found, but i can tell it will open up soon, so i guess its not a complete con...
Arty16
Pros: This bat has amazing pop out of the wrapper just to know its only going to get better !!!!! Highly recommended
Cons: None
freightrain36
Pros: Has good pop
Cons: I have swung this bat about 75 balls and it already cracking down the side and also the end cap is coming off as well as the handle is pealing off. if this is what 200 dollars gets me from Miken guess I will go with someone else.
pat
Pros: This is the best hitting out of the wrapper bat I have ever had. I have been playing a long time and no bat has ever impressed me this much!
Cons: Whoever catches the ball after being hit is going to be hurtin'.
Big Mike
Pros: Cool Looking!
Cons: It is a log out of the wrapper! Have entire team beating on it to loosen up! Not impressed yet. At about 100 swings and still no pop! Maybe soon...
Ryan
Pros: Kills the ball -- no vibration -- I've used several ASA bats, this is the winner HANDS DOWN.
Cons: Nothing...
BYG BRICK

Lee
Pros: Just as advertised! Very well balanced and HOT. Incredible ASA bat with new HPS specs. Finally!
Cons: None
Chad
Pros: Have only used in BP a few times and the weather was still cool. Still hit several out. Still waiting for it to warm up to see how the bat really does.
Cons: None.
Chris in PA
Pros: I used an Easton Salvo SRV5, for the past two seasons, and we all know how great that bat is. In USSSA I use my Easton Stealth Brett Helmer edition. With both bats I have serious HR power, but I'm a big guy. I ordered this bat with the hope of getting even more. First day out with the bat with the wrapper just taken off, I hit 7 balls over the wall, out of the 10 hits we get in BP. The bat is very solid and has a great ton of pop. Our fence is 300' and the balls we use a 44cor 375lb compression.
Cons: Only problem I have with this bat is it gets dirty quickly, but it's a bat...I'll deal with it.
Derek
Pros: Great pop right out of wrapper. Feels good and swings great. great addition to my arsenal.
Cons: end cap broke in half in 4th game. sent back to miken and they replaced the endcap. this bat is only for warm weather and make sure you don't hit too many of the top. We will see how it responds now that i just got it back .
zpitts14
Pros: jumps off the bat after just a little break in. weight is greatly dispersed and feel light.
Cons:
Jeff
Pros: Good pop while it lasted
Cons: After the third game the end cap cracked in half and the barrel had a crack that was 1.5" long. Sent to Miken they replace the end cap but said the bat wasn't cracked. They claim it is just a decal flaking off. This is a crack. Sorry Miken you just lost a long time customer.
Suprising Feel
Pros: This bat has a nice sound to it. I swing it and a few doublewalls and this seems to give a very solid sweetspot swing each time. It's not a guaranteed homer bat, but has good pop.
Cons:
Ras
Pros: Bat is great right out of the wrapper.
Cons: Gets dirty quick, but then its baseball.
Anonymous
Pros: bat feels very balanced. has great pop right out of the wrapper. I also have a Miken freak fx700 that i have had for over a year that proably has about 2000 hits on it. I swapped between the 2 taking batting practice. only difference i can tell between the 2 is the sound when hitting the ball and the weight. the ultra has a more hallow sound compared to the more solid sound in the fx700. the ultra is a 34in 28oz and the fx700 is a 34in 27oz with 1.5oz end load. the balanced feel makes it feel a lot lighter then the endloaded bats.
Cons: shows ball marks very easy. other than that no issues.
Jeff
Pros: Hit well with good pop while is lasted
Cons: Cracked and split the end cap in the third game I used it.
the sip
Pros: purchase the 15 jan that same day 15 pitches hit 5 out
Cons: na
Rick
Pros: Bat has pop right out of the wrapper. Keep this bat warm do not let it get cold. People freak out when they see it. Umpire's and other team always check to see if it is legal. Hot bat, must buy.
Cons: It's white, gets dirty, and needs to be warm to get the most out of it.
BC39
Pros: Crazy hot for an ASA bat out of the wrapper.. You can tell the walls are definately thinner than before. Right there with USSSA bats. EXTREMELY balanced.
Cons: Gets dirty quickly
Rik
Pros: Destroys the ball with the wrapper still on it. Massive sweet spot. Amazingly balanced.
Cons: Let me know if you can find one
JB
Pros: The pop is amazing. Very solid!
Cons: Have not found any.
Btsgirl74
Pros: Hot right out of the wrapper! Great bat!
Cons: None!

I'm having issues with the new 2013 Ultra ASA, the end cap keeps cracking and breaking off. It's now been replaced twice, I just received my third replacement but I did notice the end cap was different, it appears Miken put the older style end cap back on this one. During the past few years, serious softball players have looked to Miken Sports for bats that provide the highest levels of performance and durability. Our relentless focus on both technology and the demands of players has made Miken the most demanded line of softball bats today.
Although composites are the latest trend in softball bats, the technology has been the core of Miken's success since the company's inception. No other bat company has driven innovation as hard, and the results are indisputable. Look around. If a player is serious about softball, they are most likely swinging a Miken bat.
The success of Miken Sports has been driven by two forces - innovation and a passion for delivering what players demand. The results are obvious. Players have decided that composites are the future for bats, and no one does composite like Miken.
