Pros: good pop, son loves it. read the instructions. It is intended for one player not an entire team.
Cons: pricey for young players
Hogan
Pros: great bat for tall kids who haven't developed the strength to swing -10
Cons:
Machine
Pros: The 29-17.5 is great! It gives Coach Pitch batters a little extra reach. Our stronger batters do damage with this bat.
Cons: None
AustinTexas_MikenFan
Pros: Awesome Bat. Wonderful pop out of the box (no breaking in period) and great bat speed. My 8 yo son has hit 16 HR (2 over the fence) and has over 40 RBIs. Can't say enough on how great this bat is for him. Do not use under 60 degrees and only use for live hitting. Do not share. We have 3 kids on our team with this bat, luckily. It just cracked, so we'll have to borrow for the upcomning tournament.
Cons: Bat didn't even last 6 weeks. You have to really baby them. Do not share. Do not hit on a stick or machine. Do not hit below 60. Coach pitches only. Did all the above, to no avail.... Disappointed it cracked, but not shocked. I still am a huge Miken Fan. Hoping they replace with something stronger walled (maybe a senior or Hybrid bat). Tournaments and Select Coach Pitch this spring!
Shu
Pros: good pop. light and easy to swing
Cons: It WILL crack and break. we have had 2 of them, they will only replace it 1 time. I would stay away unless you plan to buy a new bat every season
TD coach Ron
Pros: great pop! lightweight, looks good.
Cons: bat cracked after 2 months use. thinking about the bam bam for my 7u team. any suggestions
Upset miken customer
Pros: On windy days it helps keep my papers from flying away!
Cons: Went through 2 broken bats one of which just bats replaced( thank you just bats your the best)called customer service all they offer is to replace the bat with a small barrel that my son cannot use. My opinion stay away from miken. Easton and demarini stand behind their products better!
proud papa
Pros: i bought 2, a 28 for my 6 yr old and a 29 for my 8 year old, and they love them, they are swinging with more confidence. the bats are almost as light as a 2&1/4 barrel, so the transition to a big barrel is easy for them. the bats have great pop,and for the money, they are tough to beat
Cons: the recommendations on the warranty, no cages, no sharing the bat...the pros far outnumber the cons
Disappointed
Pros: Good pop, like the -11.5
Cons: First bat lasted 45 days, cracked. Second bat lasted 48 days, busted. Not worth the time and effort to keep shipping back to Miken for replacement.
Dltaman
Pros:
Cons: I bought the 26" version for my 7 year old son. Had high expectation with this bat that weren't meant. This bat does not seem to have any pop. I would not recommend this bat. Multiple kids have iced this bat on the team with similar sub- par results. Not worth the $150 I originally spent on this bat. Try Combat or Rawlings instead.

Pros: Bat has pop right out of the box! Son loves the bat! Hope to have a great fall and spring season.Did you see this price!!
Cons: Black will show the scuff marks!
c_mac
Pros: Great bat while it lasted.
Cons: This is a replacement for the first bat that broke a couple of months ago. Bat lasted for only 100-150 hits. Miken tells me it shouldn't be used for machine pitch, only slow toss coach pitch...what good is it? Similar Easton Stealth CP bats are not breaking like the MV3's. So, we get to try a third one since Miken won't let us swap with a Hybrid -10. No money back policy, so buyer beware!

Pros: Great pop. My eight year old led his team in every offensive category using this bat. Unfortunately while warming up for the post season championship game the bat cracked severely. Miken replaced quickly without any hassle. Great bat probably not very durable.
Cons: Short life.... great while it lasts.
leroyrdragon
Pros: this is an awesome bat. My hit 30 in the park home runs in the 5 yr n 6 yr. tee-ball league. I would recommend this bat to everybody. It is worth the price. The easton coach bat is good but my son likes the Miken bat more. Leroyrdragon
Cons: None
Batless in Cooperstown
Pros: not sure yet,,, 2nd bat, about 100 swings, and 2 cracked..........we'll see what customer service does.
Cons: coach my son's team..on the way to Cooperstown; thus ordered the Miken. Got it the week b4 we left, took some BP swings...cracked. Got a replacement sent overnight to be in time for Cooperstown. Cracked in the 3rd game. Now NO bat in Cooperstown. My son is only 70lbs; so there's no power pounch on that bat....AVOID it ! I should have listened to the other reviews. We'll see how Miken compensates.

Pros: Tons of pop & great feel would buy it again
Cons:

Pros: NONE
Cons: These Bats break too easy...little 8 year old hitting..boys on team with Easton or ComBat bats are not having this problem..Be prepared to spend an extra $100 sending these bats back to company for replacements. Not worth buying because you won't have it most of your season...Absolute waste of money.

Pros: Light
Cons: After probably 100 swings and contacts by my 8 year old, the bat broke and I sent back to Miken. this is the second Miken bat I have had to return and do not recommend this bat unless you plan on playing wiffle ball with it.
Steven
Pros: Great bat, good sweet spot. Would buy again!
Cons: None so far
Outlaw
Pros: Bat has good pop . My son hit 2 HR with it in 4 games . 8 year old.
Cons: Bat cracks very easy . My son has cracked 3 of them . Last about 30 days . Alloy for stronger kids or senior bats.
Y's Dad
Pros: I bought this bat for my 8 year old. He is average size. Great bat with a lot of pop. Large sweet spot. The -12 means he can generate a lot of bat speed for a 28 inch bat. Very happy with this bat so far.
Cons: Although I have read about durability issues, we have not yet had any problems. Most composite bats will have these issues.
B
Pros: great pop..kids love it
Cons: first bat broke in half after a months of use..got bat back from miken fast and bat broke again within a week..not a team bat
Joseph
Pros: Great bat! It hits very fast, far and is very light for size. My 7 yr old loves it!

c_mac
Pros: My 7-year old son was hitting well with this bat while it lasted.
Cons: Bat cracked and broke after 3 batting practices in the first week. Returned to Miken for a replacement. We'll try one more. Hopefully, this was just a bad apple.
bomber

About the Brand

During the past few years, serious softball players have looked to Miken Sports for bats that provide the highest levels of performance and durability. Our relentless focus on both technology and the demands of players has made Miken the most demanded line of softball bats today.
Although composites are the latest trend in softball bats, the technology has been the core of Miken's success since the company's inception. Miken pioneered the modern high-performance composite softball bat in 1998 and has pushed the limits with every model since. No other bat company has driven innovation as hard, and the results are indisputable. Look around. If a player is serious about softball, they are most likely swinging a Miken bat.
The success of Miken Sports has been driven by two forces - innovation and a passion for delivering what players demand. The results are obvious. Players have decided that composites are the future for bats, and no one does composite like Miken.
