Is the 2 5/8" bat legal for Dixie OZone play? OpsDoc
Is this top end heavy like last year's Miken or is this bat more balanced? Paul
My 9 year old son has the Miken Triad3, which we love because it is balanced and has a light swing weight and he is hitting the ball very well with it. Would the Freak be similar or would you recommend a different bat to replace it with? Jason
My son is devastated because he cracked his Miken Shock (this was his fourth one to crack). He has hit with Miken since he was six and has been pretty loyal to the brand with the exception of a few bats we had to buy while waiting for his Miken to arrive. I ordered the Freak today. Will it compare to the Shock? Mom
About the Brand
During the past few years, serious softball players have looked to Miken Sports for bats that provide the highest levels of performance and durability. Our relentless focus on both technology and the demands of players has made Miken the most demanded line of softball bats today.
Although composites are the latest trend in softball bats, the technology has been the core of Miken's success since the company's inception. Miken pioneered the modern high-performance composite softball bat in 1998 and has pushed the limits with every model since. No other bat company has driven innovation as hard, and the results are indisputable. Look around. If a player is serious about softball, they are most likely swinging a Miken bat.
The success of Miken Sports has been driven by two forces - innovation and a passion for delivering what players demand. The results are obvious. Players have decided that composites are the future for bats, and no one does composite like Miken.
