Pros: Ball jumps off this bat better than any solid wood bats I have seen. My son will use this over any BBCORE bat out there. 2 1/4 barrel gives you a larger hitting surface as well as adds to the bat speed.

Cons: Gloss paint on handle is slippery. Recomend tape or scuff sand.

Pros: I bought this bat form my 9 year old to use at the batting cages and for practice. I like how it lines up his knuckles and that I don't have to worry about him damaging his game bat.

Cons: It is a very heavy bat, compared to the bat he uses in games, but as long as he only uses in during practice he's been good.

Pros: Great Bat - We used it mostly for BB and training. He used a Mattingly V-grip Ripped for game play. This is still his favorite bat, reminds him to watch his hand placement.

Pros: The V-Grip gave my son the know-how, and the bat gave him confidence. Hits the ball solid. Great Bat!

Cons: The paint finish was a bit slick for my 8 year old. used some grip tape...not a problem.

The kid who bats better than you

Pros: If you don't buy this bat, your stupid. For those who have not tried mattingly bats your missing out. Buy it. Just because the price is low doesn't mean it's cheap. Good bat.

Pros: V-Grip technology helps keep your hands properly lined on the bat. I think, comparing this to metal, that wood bats create such a solid hit that it is unbeilievably! All you do is make contact with the ball and BAMM!!! Home Run! And they're only selling it for $40.

Cons: Heavy, have to adapt to weight, but it's worth it
