Using AZ105 alloy, Marucci constructed this bat with a multi-variable wall design made of thinner barrel walls. The thinner the barrel walls, the faster the ball comes off the bat on contact. This design also expands the sweet spot and is more forgiving when players make contact on the remainder of the barrel. The ring-free barrel construction means there are zero dead spots on the hitting surface, which is great for youth players that are most focused on making contact. To keep vibration out of the hitter's hands, the Posey28 features a 2nd Generation AV2 anti-vibration knob. For comfort and control with each swing, this bat also has a removable taper through the handle and a soft-touch grip with extra tack.
