Marucci CAT 9 BBCOR Baseball Bat: MCBC9 Releases on August 31st! -
The BBCOR CAT 9 is loaded with new innovation and is rocking the BBCOR world again. Get your one-piece, all-alloy CAT 9 bat today!
Bat Benefits
Marucci has outfitted this bat with some impressive advancements. First off, there is new AZR Alloy on the bat. This alloy has undergone a 3-stage thermal treatment process. Because of that process, the new alloy should deliver the trifecta of (1) Better Feel (2) More Forgiveness & (3) More Performance. In addition, the AZR material should still display that same impressive strength that we have come to expect from CAT bats. Next, you'll want to take notice of the Longitudinal Groove System (LGS) that removes extra weight from the thickest part of the barrel and then allows that barrel to flex a little bit. This LGS system ultimately bumps up the performance of the ball off the bat.
Overall, these two new features are wrapped up in the one-piece, all-alloy design of the CAT bats that so many players have come to love. And don't forget about the sleek, black color.
Warranty
Marucci offers a twelve (12) month manufacturer's warranty on the bat. If you purchase the bat from JustBats and sense that something is wrong with the bat within 12 months from the purchase, please reach out to our Bat Experts. They will be able to get you set up with the info and materials to send the bat to Marucci for a replacement bat!

Pros: Great bar right out of the box. Nice pop.
Cons: N/a
Pros: None.... bat way overrated
Cons: Balance is bad Bat has no pop No were close to previous Marruci bats Biggest issue is we cannot return
Pros: Using in fall ball and it has great pop, decent endload and huge sweet spot. Hopefully it is as durable as they say. No vibration on the hands, only on bad miss hits ofc
Cons: None just don’t out it in the balanced section of bats, it should be in the slightly end loaded section.
Pros: Very consistent for a good hitter, solid transfer if a batter has power... A little more rigid in the pop vs the Cat 8..., I believe Marucci speaks to that in their advertisement(s).
Cons: I'd like to be able to customize the bat with more options from the factory..., colors, graphics, etc.., that said, it's made to hit.., not model..!
Pros: Honestly, I don't know why anyone would buy a different alloy BBCOR besides the Cat. Every year this is the best BBCOR. Biggest sweet spot I've found and no sting at all. Pop is top of the line.
Cons: None
Pros: So far it is a great bat!
Cons: It is rough to tell someone to pay more for the Cat 9 over the previous edition due to it being such a similar bat (unless they just want the latest bat out).
Pros: Great pop for how balanced it is Good for a power and contact hitter Big barrel None to little vibration
Cons: None yet
Pros: Havn't not hit one out of the park yet.
Cons: Non
Pros: Excellent right out of the box
Cons: Non
Pros: We bought this bat to get ready for the summer season. My son chose this over the DeMarini after he used tried out both at practice. Good feel and pop. He's hitting bombs with it.
Cons: Can't think of any.
Pros: Ball really pops off bat.
Cons: So far none.
Pros: has a decent pop, but it's heavy when you swing it.
Cons: doesn't have the best pop possible, i would definitely get the connector piece for this bat, it makes the bat much better.
Pros: The Cat 9 is the best bbcor bat I’ve ever swung, it has pretty good pop for a bbcor. It’s also not the heaviest bat, this bat is perfect for all types of hitters
Cons: There is a bit vibration on Mis-hits
Pros: Awesome EV! Great bat!
Cons: A bit noicy, ping ping…. But will sacrifice the noice for the performance,
Pros: Bat has great pop right out of the box
Cons: None
Pros: Bat has great pop! Son said it fehe was hitting the ball further than ever.
Cons: Expensive
Pros: Great balance and pop. My son hit 2 bombs in one game with the CAT 8 -5 and then moved to the CAT 9 for High School where the hitting keeps going. He prefers the CAT 9 over his NOX.
Cons: None
Pros: My son is very pleased with the Marucci Cat9 so far. He’s only used it in the cage a few times but he loves the feel and the pop. It’s his 4th Marucci, so we trust the quality & durability.
Cons: None
Pros: good pop and a little endloaded
Cons: i didnt likethe big fat grip on it.
Pros: Balanced, durable, good grip. Purchased for 14U contact hitter growing into BBCOR/High School. Used it in several games, with an over .500 average, easy and I swing
Cons: None so far
Pros: Has really big sweet spot really long lasting my other bat the demarini cf -3 2 piece broke after 1 game and this has lasted all season
Cons: None
Pros: It's a solid bat with good pop, not to much vibration and the feel it good.
Cons: It's heavier than other bats more end loaded than balanced and off the end of the bat it vibrates more than any bat.
Pros: This has been the workhorse of several teams swung by many kids for about 2 years. No clue how many cuts have been taken with this one! Has lost zero pop.
Cons: Slight end loaded feel, not really a bad thing as long as the hitter has enough power and technique to use.
Pros: The bat is amazing great pop and durability and great feel overall i love it so far
Cons: none so far and have had over a year
Pros: No Virbration Great Pop Had this bat for over a year and still in great condition
Cons: None
Pros: Valid
Cons: none
