Pros: GREAT bat, lots of pop
Marucci Albert Pujols Maple Wood Baseball Bat: AP5BN Adult
bat has good flex and hits better then my pro maple and I love it
Pros: GREAT bat, lots of pop
Pros: feels light when u swing. great pop. looks great
Pros: Looked cool, but wasn't anything special!
Cons: Broke my very first batting session in the cage.
Pros: it looked sick, had great pop
Cons: not durable! man i thought this was a gamer, swung and hit a ball on the handle one time during bp and ive been hitting with wood for a long time. probably wont buy another one again
Pros: Beautiful bat. Great pop, has lasted ALL year long
Pros: looks good great pop and very light when u swing
Pros: My son says the bat feels great and has good "pop".
Cons: We bought two identical bats. Within the first week, one of the bats was broken.
Pros: love everything about it,as solid as it gets
Pros: great bat it has so much pop my first tournament with it i had 3 homeruns and a ground rule double i am never switching from the marucci brand.Very balanced!!!!!!great look.
Pros: Have 4 bats. 2 for BP and 2 for Games. The price constitutes "Game Bat". To use in BP is dumb. Hits hard and has Solid pop, Looks great.
Cons: Priced a little high. Why is it $10 more than the same bat in black? Does it require additional boning or sumzing ;P
Cons: Bat broke first at bat very expensive at bat $119 for one swing
Pros: Amazing bat, great pop and has solid wood.
Cons: This bat is heavier than other marucci's i have swung.
Pros: It looks very good. It has a nice sound that fits the pop of the bat very well. There is a cool cosmetic design on the cupped end.
Pros: Pop, for any hitter
Pros: I love the color of this bat. This marucci is very well balanced and has a perfect swing for Power Hitters like me. Definitely a must buy for a guy looking for power and balance in a bat
Cons: Nada... Nothing
Pros: It's an awesome bat with great balance and great pop.
Pros: Nice look. Solid bat.
Pros: Why does everyone complain about the bats breaking? The only issue I see when reading this is you are all breaking them when you hit one off the hands. Stop swinging at the bad pitches.
Pros: Looks good, and feels good.
Cons: Broke in my second game. My first Marucci and probably my last.
Pros: I used the bat for petty much the full year and it is great. Nice pop, nice balance durable, and mine didn't break until recently.
Cons: Broke but it was my friends fault. Don't let people swing it.
Pros: Only pure wood bat I will swing.
Cons: Price is higher then most wood bats.
Pros: Good bat, nicely balanced, feels and hits well.
Cons: These bats break very easy. I have used much cheaper bats and have hit the ball on the bad part and they were ok first hit off the bad part of this bat and bye-bye.
Pros: Very solid hitting bat
Pros: My 13 year old son loves the bat. Great pop, solid feel on contact.
Cons: A little pricey for wood.
Pros: Great balance and lots of pop. Do not swing at inside pitches and the bat should last.
Cons: As far as I know, no Marucci maple sold "retail" qualifies as MLB approved. MLB requires an ink dot test for grain straightness and the label must be 90 degrees to the face wood grain of the bat. Retail Marucci maples have the label ON the face wood grain.
Pros: I'm a contact hitter, but this bat is perfect. The colors are nice and the pop is great. Since it is end loaded it gives extra distance to your shots.
Cons: Expensive but worth it
Pros: good pop, light weight and good balance.
Cons: it broke after 20 hits
Pros: Great balance. Looks good, feels good.
Pros: Don't have any.
Cons: Broke in half 1st at bat by my son.
Pros: bat has good flex and hits better then my pro maple and I love it.
Pros: Best pop of any bat I've used so far.
Pros: Everything is perfect and nothing needs to be changed. I always thought that since I was a power hitter I needed a heavier bat turns out I was wrong this bat is perfect for every type of hitter.
Cons: That I didn't get it sooner.
Pros: amazing bat, just got it today, but the pop is on point. went out to the field and smashed 3 buckets of balls.
Cons: the finish makes it a little slippery, but pine tar will fix that.
Pros: Sweet Finish and great pop and has not broken
Cons: none it is all around great bat
Pros: bat has plenty of pop nice solid feel best looking bat you can buy
Cons: hit one of the end, bat broke in half. but hey, wood breaks.
Pros: there is no pros
Cons: Had two of them and both broke the first game I used them and they don't back them at al so don't buy this one at all
Pros: Tremendous pop balanced swing weight hit it on the barrel and it will go just buy the thing add some pine tar to add the MLB awesomeness
Cons: bat shouldn't be used if your inexperienced at hitting. thin handle but its albert pujols. he aint a contact hitter anymore. DONT SWING AT INSIDE PITCHES!!! LOL
Pros: This bat has some pop. Very hard to break.
Cons: Really really top heavy almost hard to swing. BUt other than that nice bat.
Pros: I used it for most of my summer AAU season this year and I had several great shots with it. Sadly it recently broke while swinging at an inside pitch but it lasted atleast 25 gamesor so.
Pros: jumps off bat well for wood. this bat is unbelievably balanced. more balanced than my metal bat. barrel is good sized. good contact makes an awesome sound. the thing that sets this bat apart from the others is the feel. it feels perfect in my hands.
Cons: gloss comes of easily
Pros: the best wood bat on the market of course its going to brake its wood but the bat has so much pop
Pros: • Very Balanced • Lite • Highest Quality would bat aside from Chandler (they are $199.99) • I love would bats
Cons: well not really a con, but I bought one and broke it the first game, hit it right on the barrel so it was weird, I then bought another one and have had it for 7 months and it still has not broke!
Pros: excellent whip, sturdy wood. im a smaller guy (5'7", 190 lbs) not a huge power hitter. I swear this bat has more pop than most bbcors ive used. i just today hit one over the foul pole, which is 326' at our home field. And ive been jammed, totally thought it was gonna break, did no such thing. you guys need to look at which way the grain is going before you swing wood, and always try to square it up. Great bat! Great company!!
Cons: one day it will wear out, de laminate, or break.
Pros: Great pop with a comfortable handle good bat for hitting and has a great design at the end of the barrel and it worth the money
Pros: love the bat great bat wasnt a waiste of money
Pros: This is my second AP5, I had the youth model when I was younger. Both have played very well. I have put over 1000's of swings in games/practice/cages. My youth only ever broke when a friend used it, I don't let anyone use my new one! Marucci bats are the best, reason why they are number 1 in the MLB!
Pros: I think most people tend to blame their bat for their own shortcomings. Had a few ball get in on me and it didn't break. Great balance, great pop, great sound, almost an ash sound. If you can get one with back spin off the inside part of the sweet spot it is going to go a LONG way.
Cons: Slick finish. Playing in Texas (HOT and dry) it can be a challenge to find the right grip. Tried various things, what i've found words best is no tape and use the batting gloves with the glossy finish on the inside. If you go cheap on batting gloves, pine tar is a must and you will just end up replacing the batting gloves quicker. Price, the only thing keeping me from buying another right now is the price. But, you can bet when it breaks I'll likely replace it with another AP5.
Pros: just used this for the first time. seings light and fast, perfect feel and balance. really great pop, feels like I am using an aluminum bat.
Pros: light swinging and hits the ball far. best wood bat out there. my son loves this bat. use almost every day and still going strong.
Cons: no cons

Is this bat ink dot tested?
There is a chance that this Marucci Albert Pujols Maple Wood Baseball Bat (AP5BN Adult) will come with an ink dot present on it. Marucci has started making some of these pro models with ink dots, but I would not be able to guarantee that your model would absolutely have the ink dot.
What weight is this in size 31?
The Marucci Albert Pujols Maple Wood Baseball Bat: AP5BN Adult has an approximate -3 length to weight ratio and a 31" will be about 28 oz.
Is this bat like a MF14? If not, which Marucci bat is considered the MF14?
Unfortunately, I am not familiar with the MF14 model enough to compare it to the Marucci Albert Pujols Maple Wood Baseball Bat (AP5BN).
What is the difference between this bat and the JB19?
The Marucci Albert Pujols Maple Wood Baseball Bat (AP5BN Adult) is a very balanced option and the longer barrel designis for a player that is a contact hitter with power. The Marucci Jose Bautista Maple Wood Baseball Bat (JB19) Adult) is an extremely balanced wood bat and is typically best for a contact hitter.
Is there a warranty for the first few months if the bat breaks?
Unfortunately, the Marucci Albert Pujols Maple Wood Baseball Bat (AP5BN Adult) will not carry any warranty period that would allow customers to obtain a warranty replacement through Marucci or JustBats if it were to break. Typically, natural wooden baseball bats do not carry warranty periods, but there are some composite wood models that will feature a warranty period.
Can you explain the price difference between a ($69.00) 31 inch Alpert Pujols Maple and a ($129.00) 32 inch Pujols Maple. Seems like a lot of money for 1 inch. I have purchased 4 of your Ash bats for my kid, they break way to easy, recent break on the barrel.
The price difference between the Marucci Albert Pujols Maple Wood Baseball Bat (AP5BN) and the Marucci Albert Pujols Maple Wood Youth Baseball Bat (AP5YB) is because the 31 inch AP5YB is a youth model which is a different design than the adult but made to give a similar feel for a youth player to what the adult player would experience. Maple is, traditionally, a bit more durable than ash.
What is the difference between this AP5BN and the AP5NB?
The Marucci Albert Pujols Maple Wood Baseball Bat (AP5BN Adult) and the Marucci Albert Pujols Maple Wood Baseball Bat (AP5NB Adult) are going to be identical besides the painting.
Why are the Marucci's that the Pros. use ink dot tested? But the retail ones are not? Does that mean that they're not as high quality?
The ink dot is something that the MLB may require. The bats like the Marucci Albert Pujols Maple Wood Baseball Bat (AP5BN Adult) are the exact same wood from his hands to the ones we sell here.
What Marucci bat would you prefer for a gap to gap lead-off hitter?
As a lead-off contact hitter, we would typically recommend a balanced turn model such as the 110 turn model. Additionally, we would recommend ash over maple due to the light swing-weight and faster bat speed of ash models. The Marucci David Ortiz Ash Wood Baseball Bat (DO34 Adult) would be a great option.
Where is the weight distributed in this bat?
The Marucci Albert Pujols Maple Wood Baseball Bat (AP5BN Adult) will feature a slight end-load through the barrel. It is not technically an end-loaded model, however the steep barrel taper does make it feel as though it has a slight end-load.
Where is the weight distributed in this bat?
The Marucci Albert Pujols Maple Wood Baseball Bat (AP5BN Adult) will be evenly balanced in swing weight. The barrel will not feel end loaded.
I am an experienced Marucci user and use wood basically every practice and a few tournaments. Never tried the AP5 before surprisingly but have heard great things about it. How does this compare to the JB19, CU26, and CUTCH22? Those are the models I use now or have used in the past.
The Marucci Albert Pujols Maple Wood Baseball Bat (AP5BN) Adult and the Marucci Andrew McCutchen Maple Wood Baseball Bat (CUTCH22C) Cherry Adult will be most similar with a longer barrel taper. Both will have a tapered handle, but the taper on the Cutch22 will be slightly larger. The Marucci Jose Bautista Maple Wood Baseball Bat (JB19) Adult, Marucci Chase Utley Maple Wood Baseball Bat (CU26B) Adult will have a shorter taper on the barrel and a standard knob.
Is this model similar to a 110 turning model, or more end heavy?
The handle of the Marucci Albert Pujols Maple Wood Baseball Bat (AP5BN) Adult is thinner than the typical 110 turning model. Because of this, it will have a slightly more end loaded feel than a 110. But it is overall a pretty well-balanced design.
What is the difference between youth and adult?
The Marucci Albert Pujols Maple Wood Baseball Bat (AP5BN) Adult has roughly a 2 1/2" barrel diameter with an approximate -3 length to weight ratio. The Youth model has a 2 1/4" barrel diameter and has an approximate -5 length to weight ratio.
