awesome bat big cog 121 player
Pros: Great pop and light
Cons: I had to replace the bat grip
Tons of Pop, but Illegal in Most Youth Leagues Big Jerimiah Johnson parent
Pros: good price, tons of pop, well balanced, first night out of the wrapper our team hit 5 home runs and multiple base hits banging balls off the fence
Cons: 2 3/4" diameter cannot be used in 50/70 local league here in Washington and a lot of tournaments (13U), the umps here in the local league banned the bat for play, most tournaments the umps overlook the diameter so we haven't had any issues yet, not only do the umps make terrible calls during the game, before the first pitch is thrown they go on a power trip and start banning equipment
Real Nice Bat! Mychal parent
Pros: Lightweight, good pop, good look. My 7 year old really likes it, and it seems to be giving him confidence.
Cons: My son says it still stings a bit if not hit in the right spot.
wolves GT 17. Wolves baseball parent
Pros: great bat my son is 5 foot 2 inch and 75lbs at 11 years old not big by any means but he has fast hand threw the zone. His grandpaw got this bat. and I am extremely happy with it. Good pop fast threw the zone and good feel. He has 70 games on it and I just found the 1st dent. but that has happend with every bat he has had. I like it so much his 29-19 OMAHA 515 just came in !! Do the math 70 games 3 At bats per game plus pratice. great bat !
Cons: 1 dent but its still under warranty
Great bat for 6 year old Parsons in TN coach
Pros: My 6 year old is playing his 2nd year of allstars and this bat does everything we hoped it would. He's small but can handle the 26 16 with no problems and this absolutely added distance and pop. Great solid bat. Used for 2 seasons & countless practices with no dents, breaks, paint chipping, hand stings, or any problems. I had this fantasy that a new bat would make him hit further and without a doubt this bat did just that. Added 20-40' easy. Some $300 bat might be better, but you can't go wrong for the price.
Cons: NONE! 300+ hits and not a scratch, dent, or problem. Handle doesn't get that dirty and is not an issue.
AMAZING KO_CATCHER player
Pros: I used this bat for 2 years, and it was the best bat I've ever had. Excellent value and crazy pop. 32,22. worth every penny, great bat
Cons: People get jealous and want to borrow it a lot.
AMAZING!!! UtahOwlz4 player
Pros: This bat has so much pop, ball goes 30-40 feet farther than other bats I have had.
Cons: White grip gets dirty fast, but this is baseball. The bat might dent.
Great team bat coach Greg coach
Pros: this is a well balanced and durable bat with good pop. Quickly became a team favorite.
Cons: a bit of sting when you miss the sweet spot
Defective paint and blistering Jim Neely parent
Pros: Bat has a ton of pop. My son loves the bat.
Cons: After 3 months with the bat the paint on the barrel just started to blister and chip off. Sent the bat back with the intentions from Louisville Slugger on replacing it. After they reviewed it their professional opinion was the paint chipping severely around the barrel was not a problem. So they have told me it was being sent back?? Needless to say I will never purchase a Louisville Slugger again. That was absolutely ridiculous and I cant believe as much as bats are they cannot stand behind their product.. Also the chipping blistering was very severe!! Do not buy this bat if you work hard for your money!!
Dont Get This Bat for Competitive play Adam player
Pros: It has a big barrel light weight has decent pop
Cons: The end cap will start to fall off if you play faster pitching and will reduce the pop
GREAT BAT Larry Clauss other
Pros: Plenty of ping off bat, nice sweet spot. Grandson hit a triple first time he used it. Just purchased the shorter one for younger grandsob.
Cons: NONE
Good Pop Dents Easily Bill Wiesen coach
Pros: It is inexpensive.
Cons: 32 inch bat, hit not many times by my 12 and 10 yr old boys using only new balls has several dents in it. Neither of them really ever got to use the bat so I never paid much attention to it. Used it the other day with my 10 yr old and he pointed out damage. Pulled out receipt and one yr ended last month. No more LVS for us unless they are wood.
Love the Bat Michelle Hagele parent
Pros: We love the Bat, and actually the whole team likes to use this bat, the Barrel width is Great. Also we received this Bat within 2 days
Cons: None that we know of.
Red's dad Richard Young parent
Pros: This is my son's third LS Omaha bat and the only reason we purchased three is because he out grew the other two. They very durable even when more than one team member uses the bat. At 12 years old he hits in the low 400 and drives the ball up to 300 feet. The bats not only has great pop but they last. I would recommend the Omaha to any player that wants hit hard and far. The bat is used in 50 plus games a year and practice three times a week without any failures great bat..
Cons: None
This bat flat out thumps the ball.. T-Roy coach
Pros: Great Pop off the bat. Love the 2 3/4 inch barrell.. My Son has his hitting confidence back.. Getting close to 400 Thank you Omaha..
Cons: Like everyone says the white grip get dirty. Not a big deal.
Wow great bat Aj player
Pros: This bat has been the bat of my team. Everyone that has used it had nailed that ball so far and has always said wow I loved the feel of that. I have hit some that I just WOW. If you love the game of baseball and want a bat that can hit the ball and is light weight and makes the pop that every one wants to hear, this is the bat for you.
Cons: This bats grip get dirty fast but is easy to clean if you want to take the time to clean it
Great Bat AW parent
Pros: My 7 y/o was struggling with a 28" bat, so I got him this bat in a 26" and he has been hitting great. Half the team is now using his bat. He loves the colors too. Awesome bat for the price!
Cons: He still has to choke up on the bat a little to get around on it as quick as he needs to, but he isn't really strong in his wrists and arms yet. I don't think this is a flaw in the bat, as he just needs to develop his upper body strength.
Dented No one player
Pros: This bat feels great and has a ton of pop
Cons: It dented after 2 months and I'm a small 11 year old kid.
Great Bat Hunter'sFather parent
Pros: My son is 12 and crushes with this bat. He loves the pop it has and relatively big sweet spot! Cool paint job as well.
Cons: If you miss the sweet spot, there will be vibration.
Upgrade over 2.25in bat TJN parent
Pros: Bought a 28in drop 10 for my 9U player. He's average size for his age (about 4.5 feet, about 60 lbs), and was having some trouble with a slightly end-loaded 29in 2-1/4 bat. I had him try some batting practice with a friend's Easton S3 of the same size (28 drop 10), and an Easton S2. We settled on this bat due to its popularity, the deal JustBats was offering, and the similarity between this bat and the Easton S3. We have not been disappointed. His bat control during swings is improved due to the balance of the bat, and the bigger profile of the 2-3/4 barrel has been more forgiving on some poorly aligned swings (I won't say it has more "pop," as I don't think that is anything quantifiable for a review - just that he's been a bit more consistent at the plate because the bigger barrel and design of the bat is turning what would have been a pop out or foul ball into a hit).
Cons: None
Great value and performance Tim Smith parent
Pros: We got a 30" TPX Omaha SL136XL April 2013 to replace an Easton Omen once my son joined a U11 USSSA team. My son absolutely loves this bat. After 3 months, I purchased 2 more as spares in case of a failure. 3/4 of the kids on his team have switched to this bat. Great balance. Good pop. All metal has produced great durability even in our cold weather games (40 degree temps).
Cons: It is an all metal bat. Strike a ball on the handle in it will sting your hands.
WILL
Pros:
Cons: My son is 12 years old and used for 1 practice. The bat has at least 3 dents in it so I will return.
Phenomenal bat! Alex RF parent
Pros: This bat is THE bat for my 10 year old son. We have purchased and or swung almost every bat out there, but this bat has the lightest feel of any bat we've tried. Feels super light and swings even lighter for phenomenal bat speed and excellent pop. My 10 year old has hit 3 homeruns in as many games for his travel team.
Cons: Some of the bats dent rather easily.
Great bat 28" 18oz Robert AZ parent
Pros: My son is 10, and plays tournament ball. I purchased this bat because I was looking for a bat that was more balanced than the 29" 19oz Demarini Vexum that he was using which has too much weight in the barrel in my opinion. The ball jumps off this bat, love the sound when my son squares up a ball. He has hit several balls to the fence, amazing pop! I highly recommend this bat!
Cons: None!
great bat miniwheat2325 player
Pros: bat felt great with excellent durability and balance
Cons: i personally prefer a top heavy bat such as the new heavy weight styles that have come out
2013 omaha JJ player
Pros: solid bat, great pop, very durable. great for the colder weather
Cons: the white handle is horrible to keep clean
ok bat anonymous player
Pros: used the bat today and honestly didnt like it. the balls i hit were not going very far or hard, they were just grounders i then switched to an old vexxum and had more pop. not a very expensive bat so its worth the money. there was no sting in the bat.
Cons: small sweet spot little pop
Omaha XL D. Kim parent
Pros: Nice pop, 2 3/4" barrel, price was great!
Cons: Disappointing, the bat got slightly dented the first use. My son uses this bat for his 13U team, 32", 22 oz. I was hoping that this bat would have been a little more durable in that it is a one piece aluminum bat... We'll keep an eye on it for additional damage.
Great Bat Happy Dad parent
Pros: Well balanced bat with a lot of pop. Every kid on the team wants this bat. My 10 year old has great confidence this bat will perform.
Cons: White handle.
Good pop Joe player
Pros: Good pop really balanced as well
Cons: Dented in first year
Great bat Clent coach
Pros: I bought 28/18 for my 9 year old and he and I both love it. Its got some nasty pop and zero vibration. Its our first Louisville Slugger and it has not disappointed. I highly recommend it.

TPX Omaha XL BRG parent
Pros: This is a great bat, bought the 20 ounce 30 inch for my 11 year old son. He played in a tournament this past weekend and hit 2 doubles and a triple. Great pop. Some kids on team are using the Combat B4 and he is hitting the ball as far as they are and this bat is cheaper. I would recommend this bat to anyone.
Cons: Double up grip, add a buzz off grip to the original grip. With double grip I give vibration a 5 star without 4 star.
awesome bat homerun hitter player
Pros: i was playing pull ball and a 15 year old had the easton s2 and he hit a single im 12 i usedmy omaha 31/21 drop ten and hit a home run on a field that was 280 feet and im 12 so yeah best bat i have had:)

Bwood1008
Pros: Omaha has nice balance and my 10 year old loved hitting with it. It barrel's up quite easily and has a lot of pop.
Cons: It dented after 3 weeks. Would not recommend using it for BP. Second Louisville Slugger to dent this summer quickly after purchase.
Coach Cruz
Pros: Everything!!!! Great all around bat. My son had a Team Marucci bat was ok but just dented to easy. Bought my son this bat at a tournament in and hes been on a tear every since. Today hit at 250-275 ft shoot today and not even a mark on it. Its holding up real well. Highly recommend this bat.
Cons: Ughhhhh none read above lol
Anonymous
Pros: good bat
Cons: none
SP
Pros: just bats talked me into using this bat since the price was so much lower compared to the easton i bought last year. took the recommendation and my boy was hitting seeds all seasons and even went yard as an 8 yr old. i have to say for the price this bat works well above the price.
Cons: none.
The next Brice Harper
Pros: ONLY WANT TO KNOW WHY THEY WOULD PUT A WHITE GRIP ON ANY BAT. ALSO, WHY CAN'T ANY BAT MANUFACTURER COME UP WITH PAINT THAT WILL WITHSTAND THE PUNISHMENT THAT THESE BATS TAKE. AS FAR AS PERFORMANCE, THIS BAT IS INCREDIBLE. MY SON IS KILLING THE BALL AND SO ARE ALL OF HIS TEAMMATES. MONEY WELL SPENT. I HOPE IT HOLDS UP.
Cons: NONE.
ThebigA12
Pros: It has good grip. It has a cool design.
Cons: It had no pop after the first week I used it. Where ever I hit it, it stung.
bomber

Pros: bat is great it has great pop the grip is dirty but i would reccomend this bat for any bat for any body look is outstanding the cap is awesome thanks Louisville Slugger for providing this bat.
Cons: grip gets dirty but can come clean
familyguy
Pros: Son loves it. He is 13/30 in last 30 ABs. Was a good hitter always making contact, now the hits are falling in. We had an Easton and this bat is so much better. Do not hesitate to buy.
Cons: He will never try any other bat now, so we will never know if there is a better one.
Blue
Pros: Outstanding balance and very comfortable for son. Great response from the machine and coach pitched balls. Great bat-even looks better when dirty and completed a couple tournaments.
Cons: None
thebomber
Pros: I hit the ball 230ft in little league and Im 12
Cons: the handle gets dirty
Storm15
Pros: Great Bat! Swings light, and has lots of pop. Also very durable and looks better in person than in the pictures.
Cons: My son has the 28" 18 oz. model in this bat and a 28" 18 oz. in the 2013 Easton S3. This bat is actually shorter than the Easton S3.

Pros: Nice pop right out pf the box! Great looking bat as well.
Cons: None.
Thudson
Pros: My son loves this bat! Was striking out alot. Got this bat and now he is fire, hits go to outfield everytime. The ball pops!!

L.E.B #9
Pros: Well sized sweet spot. Amazing pop. Much better than last model.
Cons: Grip gets dirty easily, but that shouldn't keep you from buying this bat. After all, baseball does involve getting dirty.
arya
Pros: Hit multiple home runs.
Cons: Not any.
Jake The Jet
Pros: My son loves the feel of this bat. It is very well balanced. He had just a plan old Easton Reflex same size and weight and this bat pops the ball about 30 feet further. It is the perfect bat to fill the Gap between Little League and High School.
Cons: None.
babe
Pros: Good bat.
Cons:
Andre
Pros: love it there was way to many good hits today was my first time with this bat and it has awesome pop recommend to anyone!!!!
Cons: The white doesn't stay white for long but thats baseball your supposed to get dirty!!!!!!!
David
Pros: My son is 12 years old and weighs 87 lbs. He has the 30/20. This bat is balanced well and he can get the barrel through the strike zone easily with the -10. My son used his new Omaha SL136XL and noticed an increase in pop off of the bat. He then used one of his teammates Easton's and went back to his Omaha and said he can hit the ball harder with the Omaha. A definite value buy IMO.
Cons: None yet. The white handle will be dirty after one use, but that's baseball!
E's Bat
Pros: Nice bat, my son loves it!! Hitting line drives since he has had it. Can't wait for the next game.
Cons: none
Al
Pros: Great balance, large sweet spot and very consistent.
Cons: This bat dents far easily! My 9-year-old has dented two of these bats within a few weeks. They are worthless after four BP sessions.
Y u dumb
Pros: The best bat ever. My son hit 4 home runs in one game. He has hit 5 more since then over the fence.
Cons: Too many bombs in one game.
JsBalsiger
Pros: Bought this bat for my 10 year old who plays for a travel team. The 30"/20 oz. missed the weight by only .3oz, has a very durable finish and swings very balanced. In his first BP session he hit four +220' blasts and 8 GR doubles! He is loving this bat and can't wait for this weekend's tournament.
Cons: None.

Leo
Pros: Great balance and overall weight. My son really likes his new bat. When he is making contact it is solid and is still developing his power. He is playing 9u travel. Since we live in the Midwest and spring time is cold, this is a great bat. Price is good and Louisville Slugger wouldn't keep making a model year after year if it didn't sell.
Cons: The only real con is that my son is still adjusting to the drop 10 weight. The jump from 2 1/4" drop 12 to 2 3/4" drop 10 has proven to be a challenge. But with all things he will just have to adjust and get used to it. I joke, but I tell him wait until we get to drop 3!
B and W
Pros: I couldn't believe my eyes. This bat quickly became the team bat after each kid watched the results. This bat added 30 to 40 feet on the end of each fly ball. I didn't believe it was possible but seeing is believing. A routine ground ball to shortstop is now to hot to handle. There were parents watching batting practice questioning if the bat was actually legal to use. Simply Amazing!!!!
Cons: Wish I had 2 of them.
Little League
Pros: I was really surprised how much bat speed my 9 year old gained with this bat. He could actually swing a size bigger than with other bats. Bat has really good pop and you will not be disappointed if you buy this bat.
Cons: None
Homerkid35
Pros: Just got this bat and it's amazing! Great pop and massive sweet spot with a sick paint job.
Cons: NONE
Greeni
Pros: It has lots of pop. I bought a 34 inch and me and my teammates feel it swings like a 33. Very light in the hands due to its balance. It's a one-piece so there's no need to break the bat in. Amazing sound when ball gets crushed off its sweet spot. I don't know how it compares to the Attack, but my teammate has the 2013 EXO and the Omaha is better and costs less than the EXO. The coloring is beautiful.
Cons: None that i could find.
big boys baseball
Pros: just got this bat for my birthday GREAT POP,i love the grip, and the look is outstanding. Best bat out by far.
Cons: NOTHING AT ALL
fyrman
Pros: After comparing the Easton S3 and this bat, I decided to go for the Omaha XL. My son has used it three times already at batting practice and loves the feel of it. Nice POP when ball makes contact in its sweet spot. He is a 8 yr. old and loves to swing the 29" -10 drop bat! Bat is well balanced, not too heavy and gloves are not needed because of the excellent grip.
Cons: Not really a negative but grip is all white. So if you are particular about having a spotless bat then this might not be for you. (There is dirt involved in the sport of baseball!!!!)
Jandro
Pros: Great bat so far, tremendous pop right of the wrapper. My son loves it.
Cons: a little paint chip
jp
Pros: Great pop - huge sweet spot
Cons: none
Reecie
Pros: Bought this bat for my 7 yr old son, who plays 11 and under. His batting average is 3rd on this his team, they won their division, so age doesn't exactly limit him, but I needed a bat that would keep him competitive, keep his confidence high, and keep the respect of his peers. This bat does all of this for my son. His teammates ask to use his bat and even the parents question me about it. I was originally worried that the larger barrel was going to slow his swing down but I was pleasantly wrong. His form and fundamentals have stayed the same throughout his swing. I have no complaints
Cons: None, yet
beaver
Pros: Awesome bat. Before I got it I was barely getting it out of the infield. Now I hit everything to the outfield. Great bat and a great Christmas present.
Cons: 0, zip, nada, not one, really great bat.
WOOD316
Pros: Just got it today and my son brought it to b.p.. Good sound and pop. Love the handle. Biggest positive--no dents. Made the switch from Easton to L.S., with a 50 game schedule (not including out of state tournaments) my research has paid off. We're converted.
Cons: None

I'm getting a 29" bat for my strong 8 yr old who is playing travel ball. He's hit well with this bat & the DeMarini Voodoo DXVDR (he has a teammate with each) so I think either one will do. Trying to decide if I should go with this one (-10 drop) or DeMarini (-9 drop) since he can handle either. For longer term, which one will last longer and be better: the Omaha because of the bigger barrel or the DeMarini because of the composite/allow construction & being heavier for more power on the ball? About the Brand

In 1842, J. Frederick Hillerich emigrated with his family from Baden-Baden, Germany to the United States. Eight years before, the 1834 Book of Sports had made its debut as the nation's first publication covering baseball. But when he arrived in Baltimore, J. Frederick Hillerich would never have dreamed of the future impact his family would have on America's favorite pastime.
After a short while, the Hillerichs moved to Louisville, where J. Fred started a woodworking shop in 1856. Two of his sons, Adam and John Andrew "Bud" were born in the United States and would later join their father in his business. By 1864 "J.F. Hillerich, Job Turning" was in operation and filled orders for businesses by custom-turning everything from balusters to bedposts.
The firm thrived, and by 1875 the little woodworking shop employed about 20 people. In 1880 Bud Hillerich, who was an amateur baseball player, became an apprentice in his father's shop. Young Bud made his own baseball bats along with bats for several of his teammates.
The debate over the origins of the first bat continues to generate controversy among baseball enthusiasts, but the younger Hillerich was most certainly involved in getting his father's business involved with what would become the company's signature item. According to company legend, the first bat was turned by Bud for Pete "The Old Gladiator" Browning in 1884. Browning was a star on Louisville's professional American Association team - the Eclipse. On a spring afternoon Bud, then seventeen, witnessed Browning break his favorite bat. Bud offered to make a bat for his hero, and Browning accepted. After the young wood shop apprentice lathed a quality stick from white ash, according to the story, Browning got three hits with it in the next game.
Louisville Slugger gloves are worn by more pitchers in Major League Baseball than any other glove.
