The Easton Connexion bat is made with Eastons exclusive Sc900 Scandium 900 Alloy which is the strongest and toughest alloy on the market, providing maximum barrel performance and durability. This new Sc900 Alloy allows Easton to make thinner bat barrel walls as a result of the Alloy being stronger and lighter than in previous years. The ultimate result of these thinner walls is more "Pop" or "Trampoline Effect" off of the bat and thus, better performance. This coupled with the ConneXion technology delivers unmatched performance and durability. Easton's patented ConneXion technology acts like a hinge to provide the most efficient energy transfer from handle to barrel. This two-piece design uses an elastomer connector to mechanically interlock the handle to the barrel, allowing the two pieces to act independently for the widest sweet spot and no vibration. Eastons exclusive new Blasting Cap extends the barrel and enlarges the sweet spot of the bat for maximum hitting area, improved balance, sound, feel, and greater hitting performance across the board.
