Easton has created this maple bat to be swung by hitters that have some confidence in their swing. This bat will feature the 318 turn model which is going to feature a good-sized barrel length. That barrel length will afford hitters a pretty nice sweet spot and if they consistently barrel up baseballs on that spot, they should see some pretty excellent results. One big thing to note is that this bat will feature a slightly end-loaded feel to it. Typically, bats with a bit of an end-load will be reserved for power hitters. However, Easton has only provided us this bat in shorter lengths. Because of that, we believe that both contact hitters and power hitters could give this bat a try (If you do consider yourself a contact hitter and get this bat, be prepared for the bat to feel a little hefty at the start).
Lastly, be sure to remember that Easton has crafted the bat with their Pro Maple wood material. It might not be as high quality as some other maple materials out there used to build top-of-the-line wood bats. However, it should definitely deliver sharp hits if you continually barrel up the ball.
