Da best bat Thebestsoftballerever player
Pros: Da best
Cons: Cant fault it
Confidence booster Steve parent
Pros: My daughter loves it! Great pop! Such a "confidence booster"! Got on a 24 hour sale for a great price. Thanks Just Bats!
Cons: None
This bat is on FLEEK! Elle Reed player
Pros: I just started full time travel tryouts. I used this bat in place of my demarini composite. The ball was flying into the outfield. This is the best bat i have used ever! get this bat or you will be sorry. Now, dont be scared by the price, the amazing hitting will make up for it.
Cons: nope
Mako Joe parent
Pros: My daughter is 11, 5ft-1in, and about 100lbs. She was always a contact hitter. When she started using this bat she became a contact/power hitter. I never bought into the idea that a bat makes a big difference. I do now. She is crushing the ball and most importantly her confidence at bat is at an all time high. She and I highly recommend this bat.
Cons: Just cost
Buy one! Avery B player
Pros: This bat is just what I was looking for. I am a 15 year old Rep A player who has recently attended a softball trip in which college recruits showed interest this bat hit me 2 HR and a bunch of doubles and triples hot right out of the box this bat is amazing!
Cons: paint chips easily, get dirty easily, if you cant swing a heavy bat, dont buy this due to the way its balanced it has the facade of a heavy bat (aka: if you dont have bery fast bat speed, dont get this bat!)
Great bat but pricey Joe parent
Pros: Lotsa pop straight from the wrapper
Cons: Durability. Bat cracked in the sweet spot area, about 5 inches long. A power and high average hitter, this was the first bat that failed before completion of the season.
GREAT BAT!! SUMMER player
Pros: THIS BAT WAS HOT RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX! HAD THUS BAT FOR A YEAR AND HIT TONS OF HOMERUNS. THIS BAT IS AWESOME!!!!
Cons: NONE.
3/4 Cracked CoachL coach
Pros: The Bat has amazing pop. The girls on the high school team that I coach love it. We have four different players that bought this bat. Looks good, feels good in your hands, and has great pop. This is the bat that I pick up when I want to hit infield/outfield.
Cons: 3 out of the 4 bats that our girls have bought have cracked. The have played a full season, and Easton has replaced (or is in the process of replacing) all of the bats. I wanted to see if this was a problem with the bat, but there has not been any type of announcement about a flaw in the bat. Seems like a few other people have had the same issue.
MAKO BAT! madison player
Pros: The MAKO is the best bat in the whole entire collection of bats! I got this bat from my dad, he bought it for me because he wants my swing to get better so with a better bat that can increase skill. The Mako and i have a special connection, i tell the ball where to go before i get in my stance to bat and then right as the ball comes i say " Be a home run hitter" Every time I go to hitting practice my coach notices that my swing is getting better, not even that it's that the bat is sending the ball farther and it makes me swing a lot faster cause its like and i use my hips and feet and push off to get the full power affect. I love this bat i will be really sad when this bat is done and used up because then i have to pay for the next one and I'm only 13 so thats going to take a while to save up especially because i like to shop and mostly spend it on makeup and clothes so i need to stop the spending habits and start a new habit! I definitely recommend this bad so go buy you a MAKO!
Cons: It gets real dirty easy so you have to wash/clean it, so look up ways to clean it before you do it your self cause you could ruin the bat.
Great Bat RedHack parent
Pros: Took 14 yo DD a month to finally give up the old 12 Zeno and use this bat. First game out a double and triple, next night a HR, first in her career., followed by a double. It has the POP and a nice sweet spot. HR was a line drive without a full swing. Even chasing poor pitches she has sent several to the grass. This is now DD's favorite bat over both Zeno's, which severed her well in the past. Great bat for a balanced hitter.
Cons: Hitting on the end will cause some discomfort. Price high. No idea on durability yet.
best bat ever makosoftballbat player
Pros: everthing, this bat has a great feel , look , pop , power, etc. I had the rip-it force before the mako which was apparently the "it" a few years ago and I got the mako and it is so much better. My friends have the xeno and lxt but I feel that the mako is the best.
Cons: price was high but worth it
best bat ever annie player
Pros: i got this bat for my birthday and it is the best bat ever i definitely hit a lot further and i leaded that team in doubles. way better than the xeno and lxt. ive tried both since players on my team had those
Cons: none!
best bat ever peachtreepanthersoftball player
Pros: im 13 and ive always had bad bats, and ive been looking for the best bat for me which i thought was this one so for my birthday my dad got this for me and i absolutely love it. ive had it for about a month and ive hitten 1 home run 4 triples and numerous doubles and singles and that was in the world series with very good pitchers! my whole team wants to use this bat. very reccomended
Cons: nothing
on third replacement mom parent
Pros: Great Bat for home runs, ball flies off the bat. That is why we have stuck with it
Cons: we purchased one used it a couple of times before the end of season. After a few practices it cracked. very visible crack. Sent it back got a replacement right away. Season ended then took it out when practice for this season started. Again cracked this time worse, extremely visible. Being it was the second bat I was very very concerned because now it was softball season again. Received the "third" bat from Easton. Have now used it the season. We clean it after each use and have found not cracks...knock on wood. Very disappointed with the cracking but they did replace it immediately. This bat however when it is placed in a bag and pushed down into their bags, the orange paint at the end chips off freely. It also has many paint chips throughout the bat showing. you can easily tell the difference between paint chipping and a crack. the cracks looked like a feathered crack on a windshield. The two bats cracked 3 inches lengthwise never width wise. Just be very observant of the bat
A good fit 31/21 Rob FL coach
Pros: A lot of pop once broken in. Balanced but not quite as balanced as the Xeno...not a bad thing but takes some time for some to adjust. Not as much noise as the Xeno...not a bad thing either watching the ball travel farther. No regrets purchasing this over the Xeno. I think the price difference weighs in a lot with many. Waiting to try the Mako Tora before I buy to be sure the swivel handle isn't a bust. $350 for the Mako was alot to pay but $450 for the Mako Tora is too much to pay to be a guinea pig.
Cons: Price, price, price...
I got LUCKY!!!!! CJ parent
Pros: Nothing good to say about this bat...
Cons: Went through 3 bats for the same issue, you got it, the barrel cracked! It's funny that when I called Easton's warranty department they never had a complaint about the cracking, but yet they were quick about replacing the bat. I tried to get my money back but was unable to because the bat comes back from warranty with a "NOT FOR RESALE" etched. But the third bat I got back did not have the etching on it, went back to Dick's (where I purchased it) and they were able to refund my money back and I bought my daughter the CF-7 which is an amazing bat. During tournament season this the last you want to worry about. Stay away from this bat...
let down no pop 01 coach
Pros: Not much to say here, very disappointed!!
Cons: Sending it back because if crack! Hard to tell it was cracked never really had any pop! Graphics don't hold up, have CF4 that looks newer. When I get replacement it will be for sale!
ITS OK sarah other
Pros: The bat feels great when you use it. great handle! the graphics are great.
Cons: my sister got this bat one month ago for her high school tournament and when she went up to bat yesterday she notices a crack. i have the same bat and me and my sister find that it gives a lot of ground balls and definitely not the pop we expected.
Best Bat I Have Ever Swung Sarah24 player
Pros: I am a 15 year old tournament player.I am also a switch hitter and usually hit line drives from the right side. This bat has given me more power than any other bat I have used. This bat is by far the best bat I have ever swung. It has amazing pop and you barely have to swing and the ball goes flying. I also think that it has the best power out of the box. Many people say that their mako has cracked or broken but mine never has. I recommended thus bat to anyone looking for a fast swing speed but also amazing power.
Cons: Absolutely nothing
its amazing marcy player
Pros: everything is amazing about this bat I used my friends mako and it was great and now im getting my own!!!!
Cons: absolutely NOTHING!!!
33/23 I love this bat Emily K player
Pros: best bat I've ever had batting close to 500 at school and travel. I've hit 5 HR's and many doubles and triples - the ball flies off of this bat....
Cons: none - don't change it
Have seen too many cracked too soon Jt parent
Pros: hard hitting bat.
Cons: I have seen at the last three tournaments four of these bats cracked on barrel. Same location on the barrel. I was strongly considering this for my 14u daughter. We have a girl on our team that cracked her warranty replacement in less then 3 weekends on the field. Hope they stand behind it.
Good bat kenzie player
Pros: I have had this bat for about 6 months now. Although I was hurt for 2 of those months with a high ankle sprain this bat has still improved my batting average. I love the looks of it. I have never once felt a stinging hand from hitting the ball off the barrel. I have had Easton for about 4 years now and I love them. This bat has gotten be tons of triples and doubles. When I hit the ball it's hard solid contact. I would recommend this bat for contact hitters.
Cons: I seem to be one of the only girls on my team that enjoys this bat. (out of 6) The others like their LXT's or CF6's. The barrel chips way too easily.
1 17 player
Pros: Better than my 2012 easton stealth. Has amazing pop and a longer barrel. Hit a homerun in the first tournament!
Cons: the team all wanted to steal it!
1 1 parent
Pros: my daughter plays high school and 12u travel ball. We bought the mako May 2014, the first tornament she had with the mako she hit the first hr on the season. It has great pop and it has a wicked sound to it when it hits the ball. i am very pleased with it. Money well spent. my daughter loves it!!!
Cons: the cost , but it is worth it to see the smiles on my daughters face. wish it had a different color besides white on it, gets dirty easy.
Perfect bat Landri Peterson player
Pros: I play 10u traveling ball fastpitch and we had a tournament yesterday I hit 2 homeruns and 3 triples using this bat
Cons: non
AMAZING Lew. player
Pros: Has amazing pop. If you make contact the ball is gone.
Cons: None so far.
psupatr
Pros: My daughter liked the bat. It has a lot of pop out of the wrapper. The bat would be a 5 star if not for the following issue.
Cons: She had the bat for 3 months but only used it at three indoor practices and two outdoor games (all above 60°F). After hitting a bomb over center field on 5/8/2014 she noticed a crack in the bat. We contacted Easton to begin the replacement process. We were told it would take two weeks. This is not good with tournament season upon us.
Awesome bat! SoftballLover16 player
Pros: This bat is amazing.
Cons: None!
Great Investment! Gabby player
Pros: -Large sweet spot -Oustanding pop -Virtually no sting -Feels very light but has enough mass to really strike the ball -Great for slappers/ people looking for more distance of fly balls. I'll upload a review and videos of me hitting this weekend on youtube. if you would like to watch and/or have any questions about it, go to my youtube chanel: 123crazygymnast Cannot give a review on the durability just yet. I'll keep uploading to inform you, though.
Cons: -Thin grip -Everyone wants to use it! -Expensive -White so it gets dirty easily
Mako 34 Dave parent
Pros: Swings extremely light and balanced. My daughters first up at bat in HS with this bat was a Homerun over center field. She kissed the bat and said I love you!
Cons: White paint
Awesome! Emily Robinson player
Pros: Only had it for 3 games, and have already hit 4 over the fence.
Cons: Doesnt stay clean for very long. Ive heard it could come off with warm soap and water, never tried it though.
EASTON MAKO IS AWESOME!!! Anonymous player
Pros: AWESOME POP GREAT WEIGHT DISTRIBUTION QUICK SWING GREAT POP RIGHT OUT OF THE WRAPPER, NO BREAK IN (I'M A D1 COLLEGE PLAYER)
Cons: NONE YET...
great bat! power hitter!! player
Pros: love this bat. its a lot different than the 2012 and 2013 stealth/fs1 (i owned both!!) but still great. currently using the mako at the high school d1 varsity level and will be using it in college ball next year. would highly recommend!!
Cons: dont hit it against your metal cleats! the paint chips easily.
great bat!!!! Kevin parent
Pros: my daughter loves this bat. there is not many balls that dont hit the sweet spot. good pop out of box,but gets better and better with every hit.
Cons: my daughter don't like useing batting gloves. but with this grip she has to because it leaves a blister if she don't. but no big deal.
Best bat Cliff McDaniel parent
Pros: best bat my daughter has hit with since the Stealth. She hitting some major rockets with the Mako. Im a believer, worth every penny.
Cons: not one
DCH DCH parent
Pros: Great looking bat, Daughter has been working with it since Christmas. Hit some solid shots in her first two tournaments.
Cons: We have broke the bat it properly and we cant see the extra pop that people have raved about. 2012 and 13 Xeno was hotter out of the wrapper and we have tested the LXT. The LXT is hot but cant see any difference between it and the Xeno. We Just bought a CF6 insane and it out performed the Mako on the first day. Mako is not a bad bat if you got nothing to compare it to, but the Xeno, LXT or CF6 are in my opinion the better bat.
Nice bat but... KevTN parent
Pros: Let me say this, my daughter uses an end loaded bat but we picked this up to see if she would like it. With that said: this bat does have alot of pop to it. Ball seems to excellerate of the barrell. It seems like a very good bat...
Cons: If you/ your daughter like an end loaded bat this may not be the bat for you. She tried several different times to 'like' this bat, but she said that it was just didnt feel right for her.
AMAZING DOSN'T EVEN COME CLOSE TO HOW GREAT IT IS Breanna R player
Pros: I play high school softball and this is the best bat I've ever owned. The pop in this bat is unbelievable. I'm glad i made this choice. The mako is great and i would recommend it. I also have already hit a homerun with this baby.
Cons: none. was a bit pricey but soo worth it
Great Bat! Softball Dad parent
Pros: Real solid pop straight out of wrapper. low vibration.
Cons: Graphics are a little on the cheesy side.
Best bat by far!!! 42 #Chooch player
Pros: This bat needs no break-in time. It's hot right out of the wrapper. It has a larger sweet spot for pitches of ALL angles! We LOVE our Mako! My 42 hit .700 in the Fall and had 22.34% of the teams runs. She's 5'8...2nd year 12U and swings a 34/24 like it's a 30/20.
Cons: NONE
2 bats, 2 cracks Sluggo parent
Pros: Good pop and feel.
Cons: Two bats cracked within 3 months. Easton suggested we "try a bigger bat. Maybe she hits the ball too hard." !!! Player is well within the charts for her size bat. New product is popular, expensive, and perhaps not durable. Waiting for the third bat to be replaced-- hope Easton does not balk.
Love it Kgooden player
Pros: Great Pop! Would definitely recommend!
Cons: None
BEST BAT EVERRR!!!!!!! Kim player
Pros: This bat is the best bat I have ever used. It has way more pop than my previous Cf5 bat and is way more durable. I wanted to try something new since I usually go for the demarini bats. So glad I did! I highly recommend this bat to anyone looking for a great quality bat. It is very similar to the stealth bat also. Definitely the best bat out on the market as of now!!!!!
Cons: nothing really ..maybe the cost but it definitely is worth the money!
Disappointed Softball Dad parent
Pros: Looks great. May be the right bat for some, but wasn't for us.
Cons: On our second FP14MK in four months. The first one developed significant cracking about half-way up the barrel after 3 months of mostly batting practice. I've read other reviews of cracking on the shell of Easton bats, but this was almost entirely around the barrel. Easton replaced it very quickly, which was great, but still just not what was expected or comforting. My daughter is 14 and a power hitter and has used end-loaded bats primarily in the past. While this bat is more balanced, we thought we would give it a try given the great reviews. It might be a great bat for some, but she hasn't been able to get the same power out of this bat as she has with her old Stealth and she gets a lot more vibration in the handle than with the Stealth. Given the price, the need to replace so quickly and decrease in power she's seen with this bat, it's not for us.
You talk about POP Marcus parent
Pros: The ball flys of bat, purchased the MAKO & the LXT, my daughter first just loved the feel of the MAKO & when we went to batting practice when she began hitting all heads turned it was a real showcase AWESOME BAT.
Cons: $349 was steep but the look on my daughters face after coming out the cages was worth millions
Awesome Bat E player
Pros: This bat is awesome. I got recruited using this bat. Im 17 years old and have been playing since I could walk. So a lot of bats have been in my hands, but this one just tops them all off.
Cons: Nothing physical, just the price! Payed for this one on my own!
HOT BAT!!!!! Coach L coach
Pros: Bought 30" drop 10 and my 7 yr old (4'4" 80 lbs) daughter took it out of the wrapper and her first hit traveled 150 ft.... She has been crushing the ball ever since. I can't wait until she finally breaks it in!!!! She plays on a 9U Travel Team and she lent it to the 11U Travel team, they were are crushing the ball. Very sweet Bat
Cons: Price is a bit steep, but well worth it. her 9U travel teammates try to use it but it is too heavy for them. The bat is white so it gets dirty quickly, but my daughter cleans it every night after she uses it...
Pure Power Chloe player
Pros: Hot right out of the wrapper. Ball jumps off the barrel.
Cons: none
Mako Paul parent
Pros: Breath of fresh air after the disappointing experience with the FS1. First hit by my 15 yr old daughter (18U gold player)- line shot HR deep over left field fence! Pop like the old stealth! Extra base hits to all fields again.
Cons: nothing performance based just price...
HOT BAT Proud Mom parent
Pros: My daughter just turned 12 weighing in at 98 lbs and is 5'6" .. tall skinny thing .. her first tourney with this bat she was ripping them to the outfield at almost every bat. One even hit about 6 inches below the top of the fence, almost her first over the fence homerun (playing up in 14u). She is very pleased with this bat, and so am I. It was worth the $350 to see her batting take off. I Highly recommend this bat.
Cons: NONE!
player John parent
Pros: Good pop off the bat. Nice balanced feel. Daughter is very happy with the bat.
Cons: Too hard on the wallet at 349.00
bat sleepy parent
Pros: we used this as a demo to try it out this is the stealth our better . very impressed with this bat . it has pop the only thing I have not been able to see yet is durability I hope its better than the stealth my daughter went thru three of those. easton you done it again .GET THIS BAT !!! ITS THE REAL DEAL
Cons: NICE SWING BALANCED WELL MY DAUGHTER LOVES IT
Easton Mako Bob Glockson parent
Pros: First hit with the bat was to the fence. Missed being a home run by inches. My daughter had some great hits with this bat at the tourney. Can't wait until next time.
Cons: The price, of course. LOL. But, it's a quality bat.
Hot J King parent
Pros: Right out of the wrapper the bat had really good pop. My daughter really likes the balance of the bat and as the bat warmed up you could see the difference. Even on mis hit balls they were still shots
