Bat Benefits
This Easton Empire will deliver some heft for batters as it is going to feature Easton's Mother Load distinction in regard to their Player Optimized Weighting scale. This Mother Load feel will be really similar to other bats that are described as having a "1 oz" or a "full" end-load.
As well, it will be a one-piece and all-composite bat. The one-piece design should be pretty attractive to players who can really put a jolt into a softball as most batters feel that one-piece bats do the best job of transferring power from the batter's swing through the handle and into the barrel of the bat. Ultimately, due to there not being a connector piece on this bat, no power should get lost in an excess amount of flex between the barrel and handle during the swing.
Easton has added their Triple Wall Composite Design to the barrel of this bat. And they are saying that the bat should be able to crack softballs at the top level right when it is pulled out of the wrapper. This composite design moves away from the traditional, "layered" build that is often seen on composite bats. This Triple Wall tech incorporates a high-performing outer barrel that is governed by two lightweight inner barrels. During testing, those 2 inner barrels help ensure that the bat performs at the 1.21 BPF level that is not to be exceeded for Senior Softball.
Warranty
Due to this bat being an extremely high-performing Senior Softball Certified bat (1.21 BPF Rating), Easton is not able to extend a manufacturer's warranty period on it.
