The 2017 Combat Maxum has a few more features than the 2017 Combat Vigor. The Maxum comes with a lower swing weight (Up to 38% Swing Weight Reduction on average), hot out of the wrapper performance, and a slightly larger hitting surface.

The 2017 COMBAT VIGOR -10 Senior League Baseball Bat: VG2SL110 will feature a one-piece fully composite design with a balanced swing weight just like the MAXUM model. The difference that one will find with the Vigor is that the barrel length is not as extended thus giving the bat a slightly smaller sweet spot and less balanced swing weight feel when compared to the MAXUM line. Overall, it is a very good bat especially for someone looking for a discounted option as one awaits the transition to the new USABat stamped models.

The B4 Portant is a little more balanced than the Vigor but it is not going to be a huge difference. Very comparable bats.
