Pros: I love this bat. Immediately I was hitting bombs. My swing speed was tremendous.
Pros: I bought this bat for my son who is a college freshman playing at a larger Dll school. I figured no harm no foul with the return policy being what it is on this bat. I can also tell you that almost all the bat companies have been to their practices allowing them to swing away. He was swing the voodoo raw and yes I did say was. I asked him for this bat back so I could return it and he said not a chance. He mentioned how much better bat control is with this bat and the fact there is no need whatsoever to get this bat rolled. The bat is very balanced and has huge pop. My suggestion is try it and if you don't like it adidas will take it back within 30days.
Cons: It's white and it's made by a shoe company. Get over that and it will be the first bat you pull out of your bag. And they gaurantee that.
Pros: I bought this bat as a back-up for my son who was using a CF-8. He hit the Burner with great success immediately, it was hot out of the wrapper. It became his #1 option after 1st use. His team's leadoff hitter tried it and had great success also, so he bought his own after using my son's for 2 weeks.
Cons: Because it is made by a shoe company, folks are skeptical.
Pros: Unbelievable Bat! Sound,Pop, Looks are Amazing! Someone did there homework on this Bat!
Cons: None so far and guessing wont ever be!
Pros: Balance and Pop are Great! Looks are Amazing and Love the feel when you hit Bombs and Line Drives!
Pros: Very balanced and very light swinging BBOCR with fast bat speed. Ball flies off barrel.
Cons: Stiffer than most 2-piece composite so will feel occasional hand sting on mishit when compared to other 2-piece composites.
Pros: Great bat, My son is a high school player and has been using Adidas bats for that past 3 years and he will not go back to another manufacturer, even his team mates give a cross look when they read the manufacturer until they give it a try, and realize this is just as good if not better than there Marucci's or Easton's. They all like the feel and the balance weight the bat has, along with good "pop". 5 stars across the board except for Vibration, but that is because it is composite, which all vibrate too much, never going to get away from that. I'll say what another user stated, If you can get your mind away from a shoe company making a bat then you will be completely satisfied!
Pros: I bought this bat because the college I'm going to swings Adidas and I thought that i might as well get used to it, but I have to say that this bat is amazing. It is easy to swing, gives you tons of bat control and has massive amounts of pop. I am an Adidas bat user from now on
Pros: This bat has excellent pop! The ball jumps off the bat. Great end loaded feel. Very similar to Easton's old XL3, I've been waiting for something similar to the XL3 to come out. Sweet bat.
Cons: None Yet
Pros: the bad is an absolute log. awesome for power hitters
Cons: My bat went dead eveywhere except from the z to the o which is about 4 inches. would be better to use a wood bat
Pros: Bat has a very small sweet spot and its hard to find to it on the bat.
Cons: Doesn't have much pop on the inside lart of the barell
Pros: Nice pop out of the wrapper
Cons: grip wore out after a few months
Pros: this bat is hot out of the wrapper. I play on a summer leauge team and almost everyone uses the bat and it works great for us.
Pros: big barrel end loaded great pop I am a power hitter myself and love the one piece bat gives a feel of full control of the barrel
Cons: grip wore out very fast I would recommend investing in some lizard skins (fyi- if your like me you like the stock grip and the feel it is 1.2mm thickness out of the box.
Pros: im 11 i have played baseball all .y life and i have never ran in to a bat like this befor it has amazing pop and the feel is just great love this bat
Cons: in my opinion there is noting wrong
Pros: the bat has a nice sound when the ball is hit, handle feels good
Cons: the bat has a really small sweet spot and will vibrate bad if hit in the wrong spot. paint tends to scratch up really bad

I am 6'1" and 160. I am a doubles guy but have power, just not quite getting it out of the park. Which one would you recommend to help me generate more power and carry the burner comp or burner one piece?

(1) How does this compare to the Louisville Prime 917? (2) Does Adidas compare to brands like Louisville or Easton?
(1) This 2017 Adidas Aero Burner Comp BBCOR Baseball Bat (AEROCBB) will be a two-piece, all-composite bat with a balanced swing weight. In regard to its general design, this Aero Burner Comp will be extremely similar to the Prime 917. (2) This 2017 release will only be Adidas' third release of bats, so they will probably not be quite as reputable as Louisville and Easton since those companies have been around for numerous amounts of years. That being said, almost all of Adidas' bats that have been produced in the 3 releases have been well rated. I expect this Aero Burner Comp to be a great bat as well.

This bat is very similar to the Beast X Loaded in that it is also a one-piece alloy design and has an end loaded swing weight. The Beast X Loaded does use Easton's new ATAC Alloy compared to the HMX Alloy used in the Z-Core.
How balanced is the bat? I am thinking about getting it for my high school season.

I know they have contracts with the teams. My question was why are they all using the full aluminum bats instead of the composite bats?

Is this bat ok to use in cold weather?
Unfortunately, the 2017 Easton Z-CORE XL BBCOR Baseball Bat: BB17ZX and really any bat on the market should not be used in temperatures below 55 degrees. The ball becomes more dense in the colder temperatures and that is what can damage a bat and weaken the bats performance.
My grandson is a bigger 11-year-old. He will be going to middle school next year which requires a BBCOR bat. He loves the Z-Core but the "smallest" one I can find is 31-28. I'm hoping he can swing something that long. Do you ever get returns on the 30-27? I just want to make sure he can get around on the ball quick enough.
We typically don't get a lot of returns on aluminum bats since after they have been used we are no longer able to return them. Additionally, for the 2017 Easton Z-CORE XL BBCOR Baseball Bat: BB17ZX we will not be receiving any more in.
I am 6'4 190 lbs. I have been swinging a 33" for the last 2 seasons now and I was wondering if I should move to a 34"?

The swing weights of the 2017 Easton Z-CORE XL BBCOR Baseball Bat: BB17ZX and the 2017 DeMarini Voodoo Insane BBCOR Baseball Bat: DXVIC are very comparable, since both feature similarly weighted end loads.
My son used the 2015 Easton XL1 (-8) at 13u and the 2016 Mako XL (-5) at 14u. Just wondering what current bat would be similar to this type of bat? He's 6' 3" and 165 lbs. He's a power hitter but also bats for average.
The closest current model to the 2016 Mako would be the 2017 Easton Mako Beast BBCOR. The only difference is the 2017 model is a balanced version, while the 2016 Mako XL was an end-loaded model.

This 2017 Easton Z-CORE XL BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB17ZX) will differ from a SPEED version of this bat as the XL version has more mass added to the barrel of the bat and will feel end-loaded while being swung. A Z-CORE SPEED bat will have an even weight distribution and the SPEED type of bat will be the easiest for a player to swing with the fastest speed.

My player is 15 year-old that bats 4th in line-up. Comparing the Louisville Slugger (BBP9173), Easton (BB17ZH) and the Easton (BB17ZX). What is your recommendation?
If you prefer a two-piece, all-composite bat with a balanced swing weight; then my suggestion would be the Prime 917 from Louisville Slugger. However, if it is an alloy barrel bat you would like, then this 2017 Easton Z-CORE XL BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB17ZX) or the 2017 Easton Z-CORE Hybrid BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB17ZH) would be the bats to consider. To make a decision between those two bats, you'll need to decide if you want the one-piece, end-loaded design of the Z-CORE XL or the two-piece, end-loaded build of the Z-CORE Hybrid.
Is there any difference (other than paint scheme) between the 2016 and 2017 versions of this bat?

The 2016 Louisville Slugger Select 716 BBCOR Baseball Bat: BBS7163 will have a hybrid design, featuring a two-piece design with a composite handle and alloy barrel. This bat too will feature an end-loaded design. Both are great bats although the 716 from LS will reduce vibration more from off-centered hits due to the two-piece construction. The Z-CORE XL will be stiffer since it is a one-piece design and could potentially help generate more power because of this.
What Easton bat would compare to the XL3? I loved that bat.
The 2017 Easton Z-CORE XL BBCOR Baseball Bat: BB17ZX is the most similar bat to the XL3 from the past. The Z-CORE XL features a one-piece alloy design and an end loaded swing weight just like the XL3.

The 2017 Easton Z-CORE XL BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB17ZX) is currently the only end loaded one-piece bat on the market.
Will this bat's grip just be the grey color or will it be the blue and grey color like the Z-CORE Speed?
