Axe Handle Scientifically Proven Benefits
Better Bat Control - High-speed video reveals a "hammering" motion from the traditional round knob. The Axe handle stabilizes the grip, increasing barrel control.
More Power & Bat Speed - Range of motion is increased and tension is reduced in the hands, resulting in greater power transfer and more bat speed.
Enhanced Comfort - The Axe handle is ergonomically designed to fit naturally in the contour of your hand.
Reduces Injuries - Traditional handles put tremendous pressure on a single point of the hand, which contains the commonly broken Hamate bone. The flush backside of the AXE handle relieves this pressure.

Amazing Mitch player
Pros: I saw Mookie and other pros swinging the bat this season and figured it was worth a shot. Best decision ever. I ended up getting the Hyperwhip and wood bat for cage work and I've never felt more confident at the plate. The ball absolutely jumps off the barrel and its super balanced for a one piece bat. I couldn't recommend this bat enough.
Cons: Vibrates a bit when hit off the end, but that's nothing new for a one piece bat.
Great bat for $300 Peter F player
Pros: Absolutely love this bat! I tried an AXE wood bat last year to see what all the talk was about with these AXE Bats. I was really impressed with the handle so I decided to fork over $300 for the Hyperwhip. This bat is extremely balanced and has a ton of pop to it. One of my friends hit it recently and said this bat could easily be a $400 bat. I am hooked on the axe handle and will probably never go back to a traditional handle. Check it out for yourself!
Cons: None
Balance & Power Craig S. player
Pros: The axe bat recently peaked my interest when watching the Red Sox play in this year's playoffs. I've been looking for a new bat to purchase before next season, I have always swung a one piece alloy bat and prefer metal to composite. I have been looking at the axe element and hyperwhip but ultimately chose the hyperwhip because it is said to be the more balanced bat. The bat swings balanced as advertised and has a ton of pop. The bat also has a nice loud sound on contact. I'm extremely happy with my purchase so far.
Cons: The only bad thing about the axe so far is that I didn't purchase it sooner.
2017 AXE Element Hyperwhip -3 BBCOR L138E Michael Fesinmeyer parent
Pros: I ordered this bat for my 15 year old son after he used AXE bats last baseball season. He has shown increased bat speed as well as better control and pop due to the bats balanced feel and AXE handle. The new top, one sided hitting surface combined with the AXE handle give the bat an advantage over other bats.
Cons: None. I wish these bats were around when I played.
Very Very Good Guy Lasorsa parent
Pros: My son is in the 8th grade and he's always liked the feel of the Axe bat. A couple years back he felt the bat didn't have the pop he was looking for. Used this today for the first time on Hit Trax. Today was his best day, he hit 12 balls over 300 ft (one being 341) and had 24 extra base hits. Highly recommend. Thanks Baden for getting it right
Cons: None so far

About the Brand
Launched by Baden Sports in 2011, the Axe line of bats was hailed as a breakthrough in bat technology by players and coaches from youth leagues to the Pros. The makers of the Axe line of bats often pose the question, "What does your traditional knob do for you?" Most players don't have a good answer. Axe engineers have created a handle that is not only more comfortable and safer in terms of hand injuries, but also helps improve the hitter's swing by keeping them on an even plane. Although Axe is new to the market, they are backed by Baden Sports, Inc., an independent, family-owned company that has been making baseball products since 1979. Their passion to create a better game is unparalleled, making it no surprise that the Axe handle is set to be baseball's next big thing.
