Description
Axe baseball bats always provide the right amount of ingredients that allow players the opportunity to become more successful. The Element series introduces tomorrow's technology for today's player. There is no model on the market that offers a stiffer, truer feel than the Element baseball bats. With a one-piece, Mantic alloy construction, you're guaranteed a military grade formula that delivers powerful performance with season after season durability. While it does feature an end loaded swing weight for more mass behind your swing, the HyperWhip composite end cap helps reduce unnecessary weight towards the end of the barrel for improved swing speeds and control through the zone. Axe has also engineered a hitting zone that extends the barrel length and strength to a 270-degree contact area, so you'll never need to worry about rotating your barrel for durability ever again. On the other end of these bats, the shock-absorbing Endogrid technology is built into the handle to help eliminate negative feedback to the bottom hand and stop the stings commonly felt when swinging a one-piece bat. Axe: Make The Switch!
This Axe Element Senior League Baseball Bat (L139F) features a drop 8 length to weight ratio, a standard 2 5/8-inch barrel diameter, and the USA baseball certification. Experience the Axe handle advantage and get one of these Axe baseball bats today with free shipping and a full one (1) year manufacturer's warranty. Remember, we're here for you from click to hit!
Axe Handle Scientifically Proven Benefits
Better Bat Control - High-speed video reveals a "hammering" motion from the traditional round knob. The Axe handle stabilizes the grip, increasing barrel control.
More Power & Bat Speed - Range of motion is increased and tension is reduced in the hands, resulting in greater power transfer and more bat speed.
Enhanced Comfort - The Axe handle is ergonomically designed to fit naturally in the contour of your hand.
Reduces Injuries - Traditional handles put tremendous pressure on a single point of the hand, which contains the commonly broken Hamate bone. The flush backside of the Axe handle relieves this pressure.

Great bat for Middle School baseball Craig Parent
Pros: Great feel to the handle and the bat. Very comfortable to hold and looks sharp. My 13 year old son loves it and would high recommend it!
Cons: Like most USA bats, this one lacks the pop of some other types of bats. But USA bats are legal in Middle School, so we pulled the trigger.
Great bat Alex Altemus Player
Pros: Lots of pop, love the axe handle
Cons: none yet
Great bat! Cams Dad Parent
Pros: Son has to transition to USABat next spring 2020 and we have heard lots of talk about the Axe bats and curious about the handle. Wanted to test it out and he loves it.
Cons: None
Solid Bat imagine 2019 is even better Robert Coach
Pros: Got on sale a few weeks back because my 8 year old needed a heavier bat. He loves the handle and has crushed some balls. Not quite as much pop as my 2018 Demartini two piece I bought, but still impressive.
Cons: My son complained of some vibration pains when getting jammed, but otherwise nothing
Great bat! Andra Sullivan Parent
Pros: Good pop and grip!
Cons: None so far!
axe element D-Money player

Pros: Big pop, no vibration through the handle
Cons: None....yet
Cal Ripken Black Hills Coach Stanley Cruz coach
Pros: Bat is well balanced, it's a great hitting in cold weather too...My son went 2-2 in with 33 degrees outside...Just a solid bat that ensures hitters to have flat hands in the zone... Just a great tool for all hitters, highly recommend!!!
Cons: The AXE bat is about feel with the same similarity of swinging an actual AXE bat handle...Some players won't like the feel...
Awesome USA Bat Roger Riggs parent
Pros: This bat is awesome! Got it for my 11 year old son. We were really dreading the change to the USA bat. Most reviews are terrible and from what we had seen they have no pop and poor performance. After much study I narrowed down to the Axe Origin or Element or the Easton Ghost X. I chose the Element because ratings seemed to edge out the Origin for not too much more expense. Reviews on the Ghost X look good but I liked the idea of the 30 day no risk challenge on the Axe. NO REGRETS! He is hitting as good or better than he did with his old Easton. Has great pop! Swings like a much lighter bat. Everyone looked at it a little funny when we first got it but now other kids are asking if they can try it. We have the 31" 23oz He swings it so well I wonder if we could have gone with a 32". Try it. You won't go wrong!
Cons: None, we love it!
heavy Joe parent
Pros: it feels nice in your hands.
Cons: They say its a -8 but its more like -3. Got this bat a 29 @ 21 ounces. its actual weight is just over 26 ounces. it will be going back.
Good solid bat Titans 08 parent
Pros: The Element has a very light swing weight for a -8. My son swings it as well as any -10 model. Has good pop for a USA bat. He has become a big fan of the Axe handle and feel of the bat. He liked the Element so much that we purchased a USSSA Axe Elite for tournamnet games.
Cons: non so far
best usa bat period! iron coach
Pros: best usa bat. my son is 8 and he loves this bat. good pop and no vibration
Cons: none yet
Best bang for the buck USA bat MDC parent
Pros: My son 11 yo was swinging a combat 27 17 -10 pg4 last year so i was concerned he wouldn't be able to generate bat speed with the AXE 28 20 -8. He hit a bucket of the tee and said it felt just as light with better balance then the lighter combat. Then the real test. At travel ball practice he decided to use it in bp and was driving the ball just as hard and far as the kids with usssa 1.15 bats! Save your money, buy this bat.
Cons: The grip could be better, need to swap it out with lizard skin
awesome bat J. Amalbert parent
Pros: Great feel and swing. Because of the hyper whip end cap swings fairly balanced for an end loaded bat. Also swings lighter than the actual weight. Basically a 20 ounce bat swings like an 18 ounce bat. Also for a one piece alloy my son said he barely feels any sting and if he does it's a little bit on his top hand only. Pop is pretty good for a usa bat and because it swings lighter than the weight he can swing a heavier bat for more mass and keep his bat speed. Only had it for a couple of months so can't comment on durability just yet
Cons: None so far
Excellent bat Tony F parent
Pros: One of the best USAbats on the market. Son loves it, says it's easier to swing than the -8 would suggest. He loves the handle and is staying through the ball as opposed to letting go of his top hand prior to contact. Pop is good for a USAbat, better than a lot others on the market right now but on par with the better popping bats
Cons: None so far
Lou Lou parent
Pros: Evenly balanced with good pop. Don't waste your money on a Easton, I'm glad we tried both and picked the Axe.
Cons: None
Excellent bat Tony F parent
Pros: I rated this bat a 5 in pop but let me clarify, that is in comparison to other USAbats. all USAbats are going to have considerably less pop than what we are used to. I have seen other USAbats being used in games and practice. The expensive Eastons have really not impressed me. The only USAbat I liked prior to this is the Rawlings Prodigy. The Element is one of the sharpest looking bats on the market. My son swings a -8 mako Xl big barrel right now. Although they are the same weight and length he says the Axe feels lighter and swings smoother. I notice when he swings the bat he is swinging faster and he is staying through the ball consistently, where as he was starting to develop a bad habit of letting go of his top hand with his mako. The Element is a single piece alloy. My son is bat sting sensitive but has yet to notice any more sting than his current two piece composite. Also his wrist has been sore lately but it doesn't bother him while swinging the Axe unlike his Mako
Cons: none so far
The winner is? Lou parent
Pros: We tried the Easton Ghost bat and the AXE, After hitting with both twice he felt the Axe was had more balance and pop. The handle felt more comfortable when swinging. You won't be disappointed with this bat. Don't waste your money on the expensive overrated Easton.
Cons: None
Great Bat Andy parent
Pros: My son loves it!!!! After having owned the 2017 Axe element my son wanted another for the 2018 usa bat standard. I was a little nervous b/c of the drop -8 but he has not missed a step. He said it swings easier and feels equal to or better than the 2017. He got it 2-3 weeks ago and he has had about 5-6 hours of cage time with it and loves it!!!!
Cons: Only con he has is getting used to the change from composite to alloy.
worth it phil parent
Pros: great pop off the barrel for a usa bat. son hit this against the easton and rawlings and decided on the axe. safe to say he's an axe customer for life.
Cons: none
Different! we got the Axe and new USA standard Cory coach
Pros: my son wasn't sure at first and then seemed to really like the Axe handle. I thought he hit well with it and still good distance in practicing with it.
Cons: Just not enough reviews and not got to try other new USA bats to see how the axe stacks up.

The Justbats.com description for the Element model says it's end-loaded and the Justbats.com description for the Origin says it's got a balanced swing, but the Axe website describes both as "Power Balanced" and gives the Element a higher balance score of 9 than the Origin, which it gives an 8. My son has used the Axe -10 origin up till now and loves this bat. He is getting consistent base hits and doubles with this bat. Now he has to go up to a -8 bat and we are torn between the Origin -8 and the Element -8. He is not a real power hitter but is a good lead off/contact hitter looking to get a bit more distance in his hits. He is 5'1" and weighs 88 lbs. Any advice which one to choose? stef

My 11 yr old son is very small for his size. He’s a great contact hitter with lots of speed. He’s coming from a Mako 12 drop in travel ball. He needs one compliant for league ball. Would the 28'' in be a good size for him? Would this one create a little more pop than the Origin? Scott Willett
About the Brand

Launched by Baden Sports in 2011, the Axe line of bats was hailed as a breakthrough in bat technology by players and coaches from youth leagues to the Pros. The makers of the Axe line of bats often pose the question, "What does your traditional knob do for you?" Most players don't have a good answer. Axe engineers have created a handle that is not only more comfortable and safer in terms of hand injuries, but also helps improve the hitter's swing by keeping them on an even plane. Although Axe is new to the market, they are backed by Baden Sports, Inc., an independent, family-owned company that has been making baseball products since 1979. Their passion to create a better game is unparalleled, making it no surprise that the Axe handle is set to be baseball's next big thing.
