Bat Benefits
This bat is built with Akadema's 681 turn model which will feature a pretty neat shape to it. The barrel will have a medium length and then it will gradually taper down to the handle. The handle's thickness will be 7/8 of an inch. That will make it very thin overall. Typically, a bat with a barrel shape like this 681 bat will feel decently balanced. But the thin handle will make the bat feel slightly barrel-heavy. Due to that feel, this 681 model might be a little more attractive to those hitters who can put an extra jolt into a baseball. However, if you were a hitter who swung for contact in the past, but wanted to add a bit of a power aspect to your game, you might consider this bat!

Great Feel Not Durable Hunter Player
Pros: Feels great for contact/ level hitters
Cons: Poor wood quality Too big of a handle Lasts one pitch inside
clean looking bat Joshua Neland Player
Pros: the bat looks super nice and I love the no knob as well. the barrel is alright I mean it's a wood bat so... so far it has been durable nothing wrong yet with it thankfully. The swing weight is very manageable, some of my teammates were surprised at how light it was compared to their bats. you should get it if you're looking for a lower price for a solid bat.
Cons: It feels a bit awkward compared to the other wood bats I have swung but not by much; I don't think it messes with anything; it just takes a little bit of time to get used to. It's a little weird swapping back and forth between this bat and my bbcor bat because of the no knob but I do prefer this bat more than my bbcor just for feeling-wise. other than that I have none. solid piece of wood.
Broke after 3rd pitch Colten Player
Pros: I like the feel and look of the bat. The no-knob is a good touch. It has the look and feel, but that's about all.
Cons: Hit 3 pitches, barreled up the 3rd, and the bat snapped off the handle. I couldn't have hit the ball better, and the bat broke. Not really a good look for this company unfortunately.
Don't waste your money. Colten Player
Pros: Looks good
Cons: I received a second bat as a replacement for the first one I broke, and this one broke after the 2nd pitch. Waste of money. The wood is terrible.

About the Brand
In Akadema's short but remarkable history it has become one of America's hottest baseball and softball equipment company for professional, college, high school, and serious youth players. The Akadema phenomenon started with the Professional Glove Series and continues with the Reptilian®, Praying Mantis®, Pro Soft™ and Prodigy™ Glove Series as well as the Amish Wood™, Tacktion™ and Xtension® Aluminum Bat Series. Akadema's ownership attributes increasing market share to their innovative professional baseball and softball product line in contrast to mass-produced products that have little to do with quality, feel, or design to raise the level of play.
Akadema's products are manufactured for professional players but are now accessible to semi pro, college, high school, and serious youth players. Akadema products are still designed with the professional player in mind but competitively priced for the professional player at heart. So it's your turn to think like a professional, play like a professional, and use Akadema Professional!
Akadema now has both baseball and fastpitch softball advisory staffs that they work with closely to implement new ideas. Members of the baseball advisory staff include Hall of Famers Ozzie Smith and Gary Carter as well as Howard Johnson, Reggie Smith, Luis Polonia, Sandy Martinez and many others. Fastpitch stars that are on the advisory staff include Crystl Bustos and Julie Smith. The input on performance from the advisory staff gives Akadema something they cannot put a price on. Their advisors don’t talk about marketing or places to sell the gloves, they just care about performance.
