I know that the barrel is made of alloy, but what is the handle made of? Julian
How end-loaded do you think this bat is? I know some of them are really heavy, like logs, and some of them kind of fall in the middle. Do you think this bat could fall in the middle range where it could benefit a very athletic contact hitter? That's my son's first BBCOR bat and you can't beat the price I just don't want to get him something so heavy. I was thinking maybe with the ax handle he would have the best of both worlds where it would be slightly end-loaded but he could still get through the zone quick. What's your opinion? If you have any recommendations at all about a bat let me know, my son is 12 years old and he is 77 lbs. soaking wet but strong. Jason
On these hybrid bats, that have alloy barrels but composite handles, can you still use them in cold weather or will the composite handle crack like they say a composite bat might? Jason
Would you recommend this bat or the Solo for a 12 year old contact hitter? I heard they're both pretty light swinging bats and there's not many options in the 30 inch length so I thought these were the two best options.
