Pros: Great bat. I coach two teams and do a LOT of infield practice and plenty of outfielding. This bat makes me look good. The ball goes where I want it, as hard as I want it. Whether it be hard grounders or big flies -- All day long without getting tied. Brett Brother's bats Rock - Fantastic design.

Cons: Should have bought it last season...

Pros: Fun to hit . . .so glad to have it

Cons: Barrel surface seems to dent easily. I think if I had it to do over I would get the 34in "infield" model

Do you really need an outfield fungo bat and an infield? What is the difference? Asked by Dan

One does not need both an outfield and infield fungo as a coach. The Brett Bros. Maple Outfield Fungo Wood Baseball Bat: BBOFUNGO could work for either situation. The difference between the two would be the length. Using a longer bat can make it somewhat easier on those that are constantly having to hit fly balls while a shorter bat is more ideal for consistent infield work. Cameron Expert

What length is this bat? Asked by Coach Ab

These fungos are 36" in length. Kyle J. Expert

The Brett Brothers entered the bat business with the goal of ensuring that coaches at all levels of baseball have access to superior quality composite wood bats that are cost effective. Consistency and durability were the primary factors when establishing their bat designs. The Brett Brothers have been involved in baseball their entire lives, through Bobby and John's Minor League careers to the Professional careers of Ken and George. The Brett Brothers understood that having reliable wood was an important component. Fungos are specifically designed for coaches to easily hit ground balls and fly balls for infield or outfield practice. Coaches know that hitting ground balls and fly balls to their team can be tiring. The unique shape of fungo bats makes them light weight and extremely easy to swing without wearing your arms out. The fungo bat will make it feel like you are swinging a bat that is a fraction of the weight of a normal bat and will give you extra distance even when you swing easy. Fungos have become favorite among coaches because of their lightweight, durability and they are easy to use. This bat is constructed of durable Maple Wood. Brett Brothers: The Very Best in Baseball!
