Available in BBCOR bats, USSSA Baseball bats, and USA Baseball bats, the CATX2 has an option for every player at every level. Longer barrel. The Marucci CATX2 BBCOR baseball bat features a longer barrel design. It received a .5” longer barrel and updated internal wall design, providing players a wider usable barrel area and increased sweet spot while maintaining the same balance of the CATX BBCOR.
Endcap upgrade. The Liquid-Gel Endcap features a precise amount of liquid-gel situated into the center of the endcap helping to absorb vibrations and sting.

Marucci CATX2 vs. CATX2 Connect

First and foremost, the most obvious difference between the CATX2 and the CATX2 Connect is in the construction. The CATX2 is a one-piece metal bat while the CATX2 Connect is a two-piece, hybrid bat with a composite handle. Other key differences include:

Feel. The CATX2 Connect features Marucci's patented anti-vibration technology in the knob, connection and endcap to absorb virtually all vibrations for the smoothest feeling bat on the market. On the other hand, the CATX2 offers a stiffer feel with more traditional feedback on contact.
