Rob
Pros: Well, right away my son who is 15 began testing the Rip It along side the Easton Surge BBCOR, and his TPX Exo Grid BESR. He immediately loved how the ball came off the Rip It. He felt the ball just seemed to shoot right off the barrell. I actually tried all the bats as well to compare myself and I felt the Ript It had a great feel to it and the ball exploded off the barrell with alot of speed.
Cons: My son thought the grip was slightly big for him. Ping was really loud. takes some getting used to the Top End feel. But he's been working with it since we've bought and received it. By next year he will be ready
Anonymous
Pros: Not top heavy compared to other BBCOR bats. Has a lot more pop than any other BBCOR.
Cons: None.
LOVE MY RIP IT!!
Pros: This is the best BBCOR out there. If you can find one buy it they don't stay in the stores. Sound is great. Distance is awesome. Heard someone say it feels like cheating and it does feel that way. Used first one at Southern Poly hitting balls of the fence and putting them over at 385 what a bat. There is only one con to hard to find.
Cons:
coach "MAC" - Post 89
Pros: More " pop" than any other BBCOR bat we've tried out. Players like the "look" of the bat
Cons: For what it is, a BBCOR bat, it's the best out there. It's the BBCOR part that is the negative.
Frustrated
Pros: Yes this bat is "hot". The ball flies well off of it but its due to the walls of the bat being so thin. Can say that because we have looked down the barrel of 2 of them.
Cons: Broke 1st bat in the 1st game it was used in got a second bat and it broke 10 days later.
Blkranger
Pros: H.S Team loves this bat. 1st hit out of the wrapper "Grand Slam" Spectators could not believe it was a BBCORE. The sound is just like a a traditional metal bat. Singles, doubles and triples have been flying off this bat.
Cons: Everyone on the team wants to use it!
DAY24
Pros: Balanced, above average BBCOR performance, our hitters had good control of this bat. So many of the other BBCOR bats are end loaded and hard for contact hitters to control. Grip is really comfortable.
Cons: Took too long to find out about this bat!
Ksb1995
Pros: More pop than any bbcor on my AAU team The complete line up was using my bat by the 2nd inning in our first summer league tourney.
Cons: None..
DadInLawrenceKS
Pros: 14yo son used to use LS H2 BESR, didn't like the internal disk stuff in the product description of the BBCOR Louisville bats. He neds an end load feel with a stiff handle for his strong swing. Decided to try the 34" RipIt Prototype (liked the performance money back deal)... He loves it. Hit a homer well over the 385' spot in one game and was 3 for 4 in another game, ALL legit TRIPLES!
Cons: none
Chooster
Pros: More pop than some of the other BBCOR bats we use. The bat feels a little top heavy, but I actually like the swing weight. I get a nice whip through the zone with it.
Cons: IT'S LOUD! When you hit a ball, the metallic ping sounds more like a metallic POW! Also, the fact that it feels a little top heavy may make it more suited for varsity HS and up players. Overall, I like this bat a lot.
rockNaFastball
Pros: my 16 yr old was the first to use, and he used statements like awesome, I love the way weight is distributed, this feels great. My 13 yr old then used the same -3 and drove one to the fence 1st at bat, second at bat over the fence.
Cons: I only bought one.
Anonymous
Pros: Good pop and weighted very good for first generation BBCOR.
Cons: Our team snapped three of these in half about 2 inches above the handle. Two of the three were balls that were barreled up. So far Rip It is been good with returns.
BBronco4
Pros: great feel, nice grip. bat has some pop for a strong hitter but not for your average type player.
Cons: too top heavy, better be in great shape and have good strength your going to need it.
Patch
Pros: Excellent pop. But good for bunt control. Right out of the box the bat performed as described. Well balanced. Very cool grip. This company delivered within two business days.
Cons:
Coach
Pros: great pop. A little top heavy but it is far superior to the demarini. As far as bbcor bats go it and the surge are the 2 best. Im watching college players use them and getting feed back from them. The 1st series my son used the rip-it he went 5-11 with 2 doubles and a home run with 4 rbi. He loves it.
Cons: A little top heavy but most bbcor are.
DragoBaseball
Pros: Quite Simply, the best. Thats all I can say. Purchase one and you will never go back. Thank you to Rip-It, and this site.
Cons: End Cap is a little fragile
playerk
Pros: Loud ping Good return policy Pretty good pop
Cons: extremely top heavy Grip wears down fast
Vincent
Pros: After searching for a great BBCOR bat and reading reviews online I decided to pull the trigger on the Prototype BBCOR. Bat was hot out of the wrapper and was outhitting other bats that my teammates have. I have over two weeks of hits on this bat and it seems to get better the more I use it. This is probably because it took me some time to get used to the weighting. Overall I like this bat.
Cons: The weighting is the only thing I didn't like at first, but from reading reviews it seems that the weighting is what makes this bat work so much better. If you can't swing a bat with an endload feel this probably isn't for you. But if you can, I think you will enjoy the bat a lot. Not really a con, but the 30 day return policy was the main reason I gave the bat a try, 400 day warranty is cool too.
tan man
Pros: I bought this bat 2 weeks ago and i was surprised at how much pop this bat had for bbcor standards.I like the 30 day guarantee and the unique ping sound the bat makes. Hitting well indoors in the cages and outdoors also.
Cons: Not quite as big of a sweet spot as the besr bats and just a little top heavy but overall a good bat so far.
Jessie
Pros: I read a lot of the reviews on this site before purchasing this bat. I have to side with those that say this is the best BBCOR on the market. It outhits every other BBCOR we have on the team. I can only assume that the people who claim this bat has "no pop" are comparing it to their BESR bats, which isn't a fair comparison. In the world of BBCOR, this bat is tops.
Cons: Can't find these in stock anywhere. Justbats.com seems to have them in stock more than anywhere else.
DADDY
Pros: like the way the bat hits and it definatly has better pop than other BBCOR bats
Cons: the sweet spot seems kinda small
hammerhead
Pros: Grip, warranty
Cons: My son is 6', 175lb power hitter. He has been swinging Demarini CF3s and CF4s for years and says this bat is too top heavy. We are returning it.
kiko
Pros: Bought it in the dead of winter so we took it to the cages right out of the box. My kid says he really could not tell the difference with the new technology and the old. I was not dissapointed with the "pop" the ball had off the bat, it surely turned some heads with the unusual pinging sound. Overall my kid likes it. Still remains to be seen outdoors. We purchased the 32in 29oz -3, grip is nice.
Cons: can't complain at this time.

Pros: Best BBCOR I have used.
Cons: none
AC
Pros: Best BBCOR bat I have swung yet. I've used demarini, TPX, and Easton and this bat is the best by far.
Cons: None.
JDT
Pros: 30 day return policy is very fair. I am not giving this bat a bad review, my son just didn't like the feel (said it was too end loaded). So, I guess a 3 star because he didn't like the feel, however the Company is very fair about a no questions 30 day guarantee.
Cons: None.
LKNDAD
Pros: Solid bat with good pop for a BBCOR. Sounds almost like a BESR cerified bat with a little less travel.
Cons: Bat seems to be top heavy and required the hitter to power thru the swing. My son did not fell comfortable with this bat and luckly RIP-IT stands by their statement and is honoring our return of the bat for a full refund.
Jones
Pros: I have no idea how anyone could rate this bat less than 5 stars. It is the hottest bat we have on our team!
Cons: None
OB
Pros: Definitely the best BBCOR bat on the market. Feels great, swings smooth, and had great pop.
Cons: Zero
jekimo
Pros: Looks good. Bat has better pop than some BESR bats. Loud ping is cool. Great return policy. My 13 year-old now prefers this bat over all others.
Cons: Grip has worn too quickly. BBCOR just does not go as far.
fo50rd
Pros: Looks Great! 30 day guarantee. Great warranty
Cons: Seams heavier than other bats the same weight. Ping sound. Got a Dead Bat...Nailing it right in the core of the bat but the ball was going no where. Must have got a dead bat. Had high hopes
tim
Pros: It does have good pop and it is as promoted for the most part.
Cons: It is very end loaded and feels heavy to swing for that reason.
Eli
Pros: The ball pops off the bat well and the handle feels good in my hands. The weight of the bat is balanced.
Cons:
New Rip It Fan
Pros: Teammate(prior to practice): What the heck is that no name thing? Me: Rip it Prototype BBCOR 32/29. Just got it. I'm test driving it to see if I like it. Him:(after I hit):That thing's got some POP! You sure it's BBCOR? Me: Yeah! It's on the CIF list! Him: Can I try it? Me: Nope! You wouldn't let me try your VooDoo! Him(after swinging it): Dude, I want one! My bat's mush!
Cons: Haven't found one yet.
Papa-Chico
Pros: Caliente! Hot right out of the wrapper. It was outhitting every other BBCOR bat our team has on swing 1.
Cons: Nada
g-man
Pros: Excellent Pop Comfortable Grip and Feel when hitting Nice looking bat too! Could try it for 30 days and return it if we didn't like it (we won't be returning it)
Cons: None so far!
Bobby
Pros: Ok. Listen up. I bought this bat around three weeks ago. I pitched in with some teammates and we got this one based on the reviews. This bat is horrible. No pop, top heavy oh and did I mention no POP!!! These reviews must be written by the bat manufacturer. None of what was said is true.
Cons: Trust me on this one!!!!
Tony
Pros: I stressed over our bat purchase more than I should have. I came down to this bat as a result of the other reviews on justbats.com. This bat is thus far amazing!
Cons: Haven't found any yet. I guess the one thing some people will dislike is that it isn't a big name (Easton, Demarini, Etc.), but its a better bat and they will quickly get over that.
coach K
Pros: nice graphics, good return policy, loud ping
Cons: we tested the bat for two weeks in the cage and on-field BP. Several players reported that the bat feels "hollow" and does not produce the ball flight some of the other bats do. We will be taking advantage of the return policy.
AR
Pros: WOW. Super hot bat and has a great feel. Saw an immediate difference in how fast the ball comes off this bat compared to the other BBCOR we have tried.
Cons: Wish out team knew about this company before we spend $1000+ on other BBCOR bats.
Slim Jim
Pros: I purchased this bat after reading about ripit's 30 day money back guarantee. I figured I had nothing to lose since they would buy it back if our team didn't like it. This is now the most popular bat on our team. Kudos to a company for standing behind their product like that!
Cons:
Coach Tim S
Pros: We have/had tried just about all of the available BBCOR bats and our guys were very upset . . . until we received your Prototype BBCOR bat. After our first practice every player on our team decided it was the best bat on the market. One player summed it best by saying, "that it felt like it was cheating compared to the other bats we had tried".
Cons: Zero
LGDTB
Pros: Went in with 3 other guys on the team and bought the BBCOR Voodoo, Hammer, and this one, and let me tell you this is by far the best. Better pop out of the wrapper than the others, and great feel all around.
Cons: That we didn't just buy 3 of these.
James
Pros: Lots of pop, like the grip. Love that "ping" on contact.
Cons: None.
Coach R
Pros: Our team couldn't be happier with this bat. Don't second guess these reviews...this bat really is better than all the major brands out there. Our entire team agrees.
Cons: None
J.C.
Pros: RIP-IT bats have been a huge splash with our players, they prefer swinging them over all the major brands. Our program would recommended them to any college program during the BBCOR transition.
Cons:
Coach Carlos
Pros: My team tried out 4 different BBCOR bats and this bat was by far the best. The score was 10 to 2 for the Ripit.
Cons: None!
Mike G
Pros: Using the RIP-IT BBCOR has opened some eyes here in CA. Compared to the Surge, 5150, etc. it has a lot more pop.
Cons: None
Jack Straw from Wichita
Pros: The description doesn't lie. This bat is hot out of the wrapper and the grip gives this bat a sweeeeet feel. Love it!
Cons: None yet...
