The MC2 is a balanced two piece bat that offers more flex than a one piece bat. It would actually be a great bat for any type of hitter, but power hitters often prefer a stiffer bat.

Both the 2013 Nike Aero MC2 BBCOR will be slightly stiffer than the 2013 Nike Aero Fuse BBCOR. Both are two-piece bats that use Zr91 alloy and top of the line composite materials.

Normally, power hitters prefer one-piece bats and contact hitters prefer two-piece bats like the 2013 Nike Aero MC2 BBCOR. However, there is not a rule that says a power hitter can't use a two-piece bat.

Those two bats will be comparable in performance and feel due to the fact that they are both two-piece hybrid designs with composite handles and aluminum barrels. The aluminum used in both the 2013 Nike Aero MC2 and the 2011 Nike Aero Fuse is the Zr91 alloy so the pop off the bat will be very similar.

The CX2: BTO635 Adult model will also be a Two-Piece design. It will feature 100% Composite materials. There will be a difference in break-in periods of the two bats. The MC2 will not require a break-in period. While the CX2 will need 100-200 swings hitting soft toss or off of a tee before it will be game ready. Both bats will come with a 12 month manufacturer's warranty.
