Description
One of the hottest bats ever built and back for a limited time only! The CAT 5 burst onto the scene and became one of the top aluminum bats on the market. Now, in very limited quantities, we are offering this bat at a discounted price so you can enjoy the insane performance. Through endless field testing with the top players in America, Marucci discovered that vibration in the top hand is the most common complaint amongst amateur baseball players. Marucci has acquired a patented new anti-vibration technology that blows the competition away. They hired noted bat scientist Dr. Daniel A. Russell to do some lab testing against the top bats on the market. The results were shocking. He found that the vibration dampening rate on the CAT 5 is 5.6 times higher than the next closest competitor! For the player, this means that they can step up to the plate worry-free with one thing on their mind; blasting one over the fence! This is literally the smoothest swinging bat ever produced. Experience the difference of this one-piece bat made from the most responsive alloy in the industry. Marucci: Game Tested. Player Approved. This bat is BBCOR Certified and is legal for high school and collegiate play. The Marucci CAT 5 carries a Full Twelve (12) Month Manufacturer's Warranty. Free Shipping!

Great Bat Keith B. parent
Pros: Anti-vibration. Almost feels like a two piece.
Cons: Usable barrel.
marruci cat 5 person player
Pros: everything. and I'm like 12 and I hit a 330ft bomb with this bat. Amazing Bat overall.
Cons: Its hard to get the grip tape off for new grip
good bat rob player
Pros: the bat had great pop and the vibration technology worked well. the bat felt well balanced. i really liked the pop
Cons: the bat was great while it lasts. it last me a spring season of select/travel ball
great bat johnny baseball player
Pros: great pop and very light and balanced
Cons: grip doesn't last long
Great Bat A player player
Pros: This bat is unbelievable!!! I have used/owned a RIT-It Air Prototype, Easton S2, and a Louisville Slugger EXO GRID (which were all bbcor bats) and I liked those bats, but this bat is amazing. When you hit the ball the bat has a nice ping sound that you have to hear to understand. The pop is amazing and due to the anti vibration handle there is slim to no vibration. The reason I gave durability 4 stars is I haven't owned and used the bat enough to tell.
Cons: BBCOR bats do not perform quite like the BESR bats of the past, but I believe this bat will do the most for you out a BBCOR bat.
Cat Attack Christian Barhite player
Pros: This bat is one of the best on the market! Extreme pop and large sweetspot as compared to other BBCOR models. I have swung 2014 Easton XL1, 2014 Easton S3, 2015 Demarini Vexxum, 2014 Demarini Voodo, Demarini CF5 & CF6, 2013 Rawlings VELO (another great choice), 2013 Demarini M2M, 2014 Rawlings Plasma, and a few other ones I don't rember off the tip of my head, and the Marucci Cat 5 is my favorite by far! Very balenced, fast through the zone, extreme power, great grip, terrific sound, NO VIBRATION, confidence building feel.
Cons: While the paint job is cool, the white does get dirt stained and scratches show through to the silver metal underneath. The gray grip gets discolored with pine tar. As with all metal bats, performance is best during warmer weather.
white lightening ! Jaba player
Pros: Good pop. Nice comfortable grip. Well balanced.
Cons: Nothing yet.
Chainlink Billy player
Pros: Had the first Cat 5 and it was best I ever had! This one is right there with it...
Cons: Cat 6 will never hold a candle to the Cat 5
murrucci Bob player
Pros: it has great pop and has a huge sweet spot
Cons: if you cant handle a heavy bat dont get this bat
Great BBCOR Bat! AAU Dad parent
Pros: The Cat-5 is easily the best BBCOR bat I've seen used at either the HS or AAU level. It seems like it shouldn't be legal. My son plays in the year round in the northeast. He uses this bat in all types of weather conditions, indoors and out. There isn't a bat on the market that can handle the cold temperatures of early spring like these Marrucci Bats. Larger sweet spot than EXOGRID or any other "balanced" bat. My 15-year old is 6'-2+, skinny with long arms and he struggles keeping his swing compact. The Cat-5 helps him generate more bat speed than any other bat he has tried. If your son is wiry, get him this bat! Great line drive bat.
Cons: NONE. Don't hesitate. stop comparing bats and buy this one!
Amazing Hunter player
Pros: Big sweet spot. Nice look.
Cons: Miss the sweet spot and your hands are going to hurt.
The Marucci Cat 5 BBCOR Chris Mills player
Pros: The grip on the Cat 5 is the best grip for any bat I have used. The pop on this bat is like no other bat, the ball seems to just fly off the bat when you swing. I used it in 35 degree weather (my first time using it) and to my surprise, there was no vibration of the bat when I hit the ball off of the cap. The bat feels great in your hands!
Cons: The handle grip gets a little dirty but, that's the only thing bad about this bat besides that everyone wants to use it now.
Worth every penny! Mike D. coach
Pros: I've swung the mako, velo, demarini cf6, S1, demarini nvs vexxum & have to admit this bat is by far the best! Nice balance, huge sweet spot, great grip, no vibration & a nice soft feel to it on impact. The ball rockets off the barrel, & you can still drive it even when you don't square it up! I absolutely love this bat & highly recommend it! A great value worth every penny!
Cons: None!
Great bob player
Pros: Loved the bat. til it got stolen, had great balance and pop.
Cons: it is discontinued.
McClain
Pros: Nice Grip, Great pop, nice design, light, perfect!
Cons: Gets dirty
rrat
Pros: None
Cons: I purchased the 33" CAT 5 BBCOR which was promptly banned from HS play because Marucci failed to meet safety standards. I promptly followed Marucci's RMA process and waited 4 weeks for the replacement. My replacement arrived 4/9 and dented on my first swing! My season ends in a couple of weeks and Marucci's refusing to refund my money. They want to send me another lousy replacement. Horrible product backed by extremely poor customer service.
JV'erfornow
Pros: Cat5 white. Good pop out of the wrapper, died quite a bit in the third month of use.
Cons: Plug came out of the end of the 32" bat after 3 months, checked Marucci's web site, not a word about warranty service. Called Marucci, no help. Said she would have supervisor call me back, still waiting. This company tries to dodge warranty issues, will never buy another Marucci.
TM
Pros: Good bat with good pop, i wis it was a little more balanced and not as end weighted as i have heard.
Cons: kinda endwaighted
34Homer
Pros: Great bat, great balance and pop. My son had 6 dbls and 1 homer in just 3 games
Cons: None yet. Just got it a month ago.
MarucciPRO
Pros: Sound, Pop, Swing weight, Durability Barrel size, and vibration reduction
Cons: Grip is a little off not a problem
dylan
Pros: good pop great bat. huge sweetspot.
Cons: the balancer in the handle starts to come out and the paint starts to chip.
BASEBALL DAN
Pros: NICE POP AND FEEL.
Cons: BAT "DIED" DURING MY SON'S VERY FIRST GAME LAST NIGHT. VIBRATION, ETC. HAS PLAYED MANY YEARS OF COMPETITIVE BALL AND HAS ALWAYS HAD A BAT LEAST AT LEAST ONE SEASON...
Coach Charlie
Pros:
Cons: I can't believe all the positive feedback on this bat. The bottom line is this bat has NO POP to it at all. Yes, it feels light and reduces shock, but the bat is dead at contact.
ftftkgyhuil
Pros: it got the best power. there is nothing bad with the Marucci cat 5
Cons: nothing
juan3269squan
Pros: it was good until it was no longer considered bbcor. hits well
Cons: mad its illegal
BBCORSXS
Pros: We tested the Easton S1, S2, and S3. Also Rip It Prototype II. Many, Many DiMarini's. The Marucci is the one for us. Great pop and no sting, nice weight placement. It just sounds better!!!
Cons: Only con i have heard of is the 33 being decertified. How is that possible when the 31, 32, and 34 are still certified???
ajd16161
Pros: The bat has great weight balance, bbcor is known to reduce the pop off of a bat.. but this bat has great pop. the grip is well and Marucci did a great job! i love this bat!
Cons: It gets marked up very easily
MCCDad
Pros: Great bat for a power hitter. Extremely well balanced and excellent pop. Good price point.
Cons: 33 inch is illegal for NCAA and high school (other sizes are legal)
bball
Pros: Have the 32". Excellent bat with good pop, balance, swing speed. As for the 33" that got decertified. Smells fishy. Marucci was hurting sales of competitors (big name bat companies) with their great bats.
Cons: None
GLACIERS 25
Pros: MY SON HAS TRIED ABOUT EVERY BBCOR BAT AND THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST OUT OF THE WRAPPER! BALL REALLY JUMPS OFF BAT & HE SAYS FEELS GOOD AND NO VIBRATIONS! IF HE FEELS GOOD ABOUT BAT THAT CONFIDENCE WILL HELP HIM AT THE PLATE!!!
Cons: NONE YET!
NFHS
Pros: Great Pop
Cons: 33 inch model was just de-certified for High School competition. Check your state regulations.
33/30 Return Policy Unacceptable
Pros: Good bat. Bad return policy for BBCOR decertification.
Cons: Marucci advertised the 33/30 as BBCOR certified which has now been decertified. Purchasers can't get their money back and must pay for return shipping and pay shipping from Marucci if purchaser wants express shipping. Overnight shipping charges both ways exceed $100. Otherwise expect not to have a bat for at least a week or so during Spring Season. Replacement bat may not be available untill end of March. Purchasers of this bat didn't get the BBCOR certified bat they paid for and Marucci doesn't seem to care. Unacceptable!
Anonymous
Pros: Love the bat and the great folks at JustBats.com!
Cons: None, until we found out it is now illegal in some leagues:(
P
Pros: Awesome bat with great pop! Great weight distribution. no better bat out right now for the $.
Cons: none
Demps12
Pros: good overall feeling
Cons: too bad its illegal now
johnpetzold3
Pros: Marucci cat5 returns policy is unacceptable ...
Cons:
GoJoe
Pros: Great "illegal" pop
Cons: Taking a risk that the bat is BBCOR approved. My kids 33" is now illegal and Marucci won't overnight a legal replacement. Said I must pay to return it to them and wait a month for a new one! I would never buy Marucci again.
bwlgod
Pros: I bought this bat for my 15yr old and he fell in love with it. The balance and the pop was amazing. No vibration on balls hit off the handle. The bat was the 33/30 model
Cons: Bought the bat on 2/11/12 only to find out that the bat was deemed illegal by the NFHS and NCAA on 2/21/12 and it is BBCOR
baseball player
Pros: Great bat, incredible pop for a bbcor, and its weight is evened out. also the knob is great.
Cons: I got the 33 inch which is now illegal for high school play... So I can't actually use it.
gtsport
Pros: my friend has this bat and he loves it and so do i. i got to try it today love the grip and the long barrel. great bat!
Cons: the sound of the bat can get annoying.
whammer
Pros: excellent bbcor bat
Cons: deemed illegal by ncaa & nfhs yesterday. cannot use it and have only owned it 5 days.
levimg
Pros: Hardly any sting, ball bounces off bat like a BESR. Very effective sweet spot for a BBCOR.
Cons: The gripping begins to wear apart throught usage.
Arnold
Pros: the bat unfortunately was a 33' 30oz and we returned it today. In exchange my son is getting the 2012 Nike Aero M1
Cons:
Derek
Pros: Was OK for the week it could be used....
Cons: 33/30 is not legal, so, can't use it.. Marucci advertised it as BBCOR, which it is not. They will upsell you to the Black bat for $99 AFTER they receive the returned bat. So, no bat to use for over a week! If you wait for the replacement in March, it won't be until the END of March. A month with NO bat! Not Acceptable. Don't buy Marucci! No refund and YOU pay to ship it back AND pay for an upgrade! I love JUST BATS- not their fault on this, but STOP selling Marucci!
Ray
Pros: Good Bat
Cons: We need verification of this statement: ** The 33 Inch length is no longer approved for High School play effective 2/21/2012 **
Mitch
Pros: Best bat ever. Just hope they don't ban this size...
Cons: NONE>>>>>
Ken Criniti
Pros: I purchased this bat for my son, he was in the cage the bat split in half.
Cons:
Truth
Pros: Well balanced
Cons: Typical BBCOR performace, they are all about the same---and that's not a good thing. Personally I think wood is better
wds
Pros: just read the 33 inch and only the 33 inch -3 has been banned by the ncaa high school may follow..this bat is hot
Cons:
wds
Pros: i compared this bat to the new 51/50 in a batting cage, basicly the same balance between the two bats but the main difference is the marucci out of the wrapper has a great pop to it..small difference from the besr bat but not enough to make a difference...get this bat
Cons: none
johnson
Pros: Balance is good
Cons: Marucci has put a ton of money in advertising there bats---looks like its working, this bat is average at best
JL24
Pros: Bat feels great, excellent grip. It really feels like a wood bat on contact. Can get through the zone very fast. Weight is perfectly distributed. Got it last week and i love it.
Cons: You have to be a hitter with this BBCOR bats. No more bombs to the outfield without good mechanics. Requires you to be a hitter
brian h
Pros: very well balanced nice handle wrap
Cons: slight vibration only comes in white
TLV
Pros: Ball comes off real nice Jr. says no sting, seems happy with this bat, only done BP with it, supposed to be his game bat. I don't think he wants to put it down.
Cons: MADE IN CHINA!!!!!!! This will be my last Marucci purchase shame on me for not checking this out first.Shame on Marucci just lost a customer. Would have given 5 stars if it was made in the states.
speedygonzalez13
Pros: this bat has good pop, a nice grip, and is better than the average bat.

Anonymous
Pros: My son loves the bat so far this season. Loves that it is balanced.
Cons: None so far.
Baseball Dad
Pros: Nice balanced bat; good grip; One peice aluminum; great pop right out of the box. Bought this for my 14yr old to use his last summer before pre-fresh ball. After the first hitting practice half the team was using the bat. Next hitting practice 2 more kids showed up with this bat. It's the best bat on the market
Cons: none so far
the freak
Pros: the pop, balance, so far (hasn't been used in a game), I like everthing about it
Cons: all the guys at practice want to use it!
Jordan
Pros: Great bat! Awesome grip and very large barrel even though its 2 5/8. I got the bat the day after i ordered it and it great!!
Cons: Maybe the loose handle but tape will fix that.
Amazing
Pros: amazing
Cons: great!
lonewolf
Pros: Great Grip, Amazing Pop, balanced feel, low swing weight,
Cons: None
MCC25
Pros: This bat is AMAZING! The way the ball comes off the bat you could never tell it was a BBCOR. The bat has a nice comfortable grip, with a non-vibration knob. The barrel is nice and big and there is so much pop when the ball comes off the bat. And one of the greatest things about the bat is how balanced it is, and it does not require you to do anything to your swing as you change from the wood. Therefore,it is definately one of the best, if not THE best BBCOR bats out there.
Cons: Nothing
D-Man
Pros: Ive used my friends Marucci in the bating cage, and this bed has really nice pop. takes a little to break in but good for the price.
Cons: None
bigbird23
Pros: Has amazing pop for a bbcor, great grip, well balanced, and when you make contact on the sweet spot it is smooth and sounds sick!
Cons:
wildcat mom
Pros: My 14 year old son loves his marucci. Hit the ball all over the field. Hit well in the cage. This is the first bat he has ever loved enough to wipe the dirt off after using it. The free shipping was great. Just what we were looking for. Ball sounds great coming off the bat. My son is hitting better than he has in a long time.
Cons: I don't know of any cons. He has used the bat 3 times so far and no complaints.
poppie
Pros: Great paint it is also a balanced bat. Best bat and cheap
Cons: none at all
sal
Pros: very happy with the feel of bat.plenty of pop.best bbcor for under $200.
Cons: paint chips easily.
20ATP
Pros: My 16 yr loves the balance of the bat. He has tried other bats, but because many are top heavy his hands start casting away from his body. He also has long fingers and loves the grip and handle. We have used Marucci bats for the last 3 yrs. It also allowed for easy transition to wood. He had to really hit the ball true for the last several years and it has helped him focus on his swing. He is not a power hitter, but lives gap to gap. His bat was the most used bat toward the end of the year. Now in the spring, it seems to be the bat of choice.
Cons: Last year the cap popped off the bottom. BESR bat.
blang777
Pros: Great responsive barrel, hits as good or better than any other bat on the market. Very well balanced, feels an ounce lighter than it is. If your not sure based on reviews, trust me, this bat is the real deal
Cons: paint gets dirty easily
Big D
Pros: Solid bat Hits as well as any other BBCOR
Cons: Grip loose after few uses Replace with tape-going to do anyway
dad32
Pros: My Son is small but a very good contact/line drive hitter.Entering into Jr. High this year going to a drop 3 bat was a concern. After hitting several different brands and styles of BBCOR bats this cat 5 was the clear winner. This bat is well balanced and has a ton of pop. I am still surprised it is actually BBCOR certified. From the very first ball he hit with this bat it was obvious this was the bat for him. It has a great sound and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a new BBCOR bat.
Cons: After hitting three times with it we have noticed a little bit of paint chipping. This might be a problem down the road, but who cares what it looks like?
macc771
Pros: This Bat is GREAT! My son started using it and loves it! He's an 8th grader but we figure get use to it now before high school ball. Even though he went from a -8 to this -3 he said its "feels" real good!
Cons: None Yet!
Anonymous
Pros: great grip, good balance, feels like your hitting with a really good wood bat. good pop for BBCOR
Cons: annoying ping sound
Tusee
Pros: Great pop Balanced throughout the bat This is a bat I took a chance on. Anyone who is a contact hitter and wants that extra pop get this bat!
Cons: None so far
bryce22
Pros: I thought the Voodoo was good until i bought the Cat 5 for my younger son. The Cat 5 has more pop, great loud sound similar to old BESR bats, not as end loaded as Voodoo and great look. Best BBCOR out there.
Cons: None so far, except handle tape seems a little weak. We just taped it up with athletic tape.
Baker18
Pros: This bat is great i used it last year and had great success it is just like a wood bat so it takes some getting used
Cons: my endcap popped off
Anonymous
Pros: great pop and big sweet spot. kind of pingy, but no big deal. Overall a great bat
Cons:
baseball_is_life12
Pros: Probably the best BBCOR bat on the market! Great pop!
Cons: Chips a little to easy.

Baseball3
Pros: Good Pop Nice Grip Cheap Price Balanced
Cons: None
Matt
Pros: Good feel and balance. Hits well for a BBCOR. Great price as well
Cons: Grip can get slick unless gloves are worn.
FC55
Pros: Great pop for a bbcor. Very balanced, no sting. Great Price
Cons: None
DTT
Pros: We bought this bat (33/BBCOR) a month ago. The grip is great. Seems to have a sweet spot that is bigger than most BBCORs my son has used. There is no, zero, zip vibration when hitting.
Cons: The bat sounds a little like the old Worth bats when you hit with it. It certainly attracts attention in the cage. Might not really be a con...
Coach Ron
Pros: There is no sting on your hands. That's about it folks... Not a very powerful bat... See "Cons"
Cons: I bought this bat for my 13 yr old son last season based on all the hype. After about 5 games he stopped using it. The bat has VERY little pop. We were both very disappointed in the production. My son is a power hitter and hit many balls both in practice and in a few games, right on the sweet spot, and it didn't respond well at all.
DTT
Pros: Bought this bat for my 15 y/o a couple weeks ago. He really likes it (32in/29oz). Bought it on the recomendation of a few other players that gave it a try as everyone moves to BBCOR for HS play. Here are the pros 1. Great Balance 2. Fantastic Grip/Handle 3. Seems to have very large sweet spot compared the Voodoo, CF5, and Surge that we see in practice (BBCOR models). 4. Price is good. $100 less than Voodoo and $200 less that CF5. My son is very pleased with this bat after about 500 swings in the cage.
Cons: None that are really all that bad. Has the sound (ping) of some of the old Worth bats when hit hard.
BDoggy4
Pros: great bat! i could not tell hardly any difference in this bat from a besr bat...great grip great bat!! i had both this and the marucci black for a week to demo and this is much better than the black...
Cons: none
Chris13
Pros: Great bat! Very balanced. Good pop for BBCOR. Tried the Rip-it, not bad but did not like it being end loaded.
Cons: Everyone on the team wants to use it.
Batobsession
Pros: Out of the bats I tried, this easily was worth the price. Perfect bat if you are on a budget, by far the best one piece bat you will find. Probably the most pop out of all the aluminum bats. There was ZERO sting on this bat. Outstanding!
Cons: Was hard to get the bat around fast. Fully aluminum, and no composite so there isn't going to be as much pop.
Big Papi
Pros: This is great bat. Son hit alot of deep balls to oppo field(300+)! Great pop, balanced, has a nice sound too!! For the price this is a heck of a bat. He uses the 33/30 size. 15 yr old.
Cons: Knob fell off or the dampner. sent to marucci for warranty. They replace with a new bat. Good customer service.Hope new bat holds up.
kcroyals
Pros: I've swung the 5150, voodoo, omaha, nike m1, and exo. The Cat has the MOST balance by far and amazing pop. Feels like a BESR. Best BBCOR also best price.
Cons: none, Marucci knows how to make non gimmicky bats that flat out work
Braves
Pros: well balanced, great feel. very little to no vibration. comes off the bat with great pop..by far the best BBCOR bat out there compared to the Easton and DeMarini junk
Cons: screw in end cap has come off a couple times after being jammed a couple times...but does not effect the bats performance
Mr G Man1
Pros: Son (17) hit very well with this bat on a cold day... No sting and great "POP"... 2 other guys used his bat and fell in love while others strugled to hit it out of the infield with their BBCOR bats.
Cons: Grip spun loose after 1 day and the bottom cap on the handle came out. Son loved bat so much he popped the cap back in, wrapped some tape on the grip, and said there was no way he was sending this bat back!So maybe cap needs to be glued in better... Still 5 stars!!
bulldog4life
Pros: great bat, especially for the price. i hit with the cf5 and this bat in the same day and hit just as far, if not farther with this bat. excellent bat
Cons: grips to thick
weewillie
Pros: feels good, good balance, no sting
Cons: small knob
Apple Pie
Pros: Lots of pop. Appears to be well built. Nice grip. Balanced well.
Cons: Received SEVERAL comments during conversations with other CAT 5 owners and the handle appears to have issues with cracking where it joins to the barrel with high bat speed hitters. Supposedly Marucci is replacing this model with a new model that is black. Wish I had this information prior to my purchase.
lil white boy
Pros: this is the best bbcor i have used by far, much better than the voodoo and the 5150. It has amazing pop and feels very light when swinging it. And it has a nice "ping" when you hit it.
Cons: None so far
zippy
Pros: This bat is the best bbcor I have swung yet. I had a Demarini Voodoo 33-30 besr and this cat 5 bbcor is so much better balanced and I love the feel of the bat. I think this bat has the pop that the BESR Vodoo had. I have a wood Marucci I can't keep away from my team mates and now the Cat 5 is the same way. I was real hesitant to start using the BBCOR instead of the BESR but no more as I am driving the ball better with longer range than any bat I have ever used... Kudos to Marucci on both the wood and the aluminum. May be the new kid on the block, but you get it right. Looking for great things in school ball next spring......
Cons: I am a lefty swinger and I can tell the grip may be an issue over time. But, I do not use gloves and I have always had to regrip my bts sometimes 2-3 times in a complete season. May need to here also....
Nalto
Pros: Good ballance. Good sound feedback when hit. No vibration on off sweetspot hits. Swing feels lighter than th ebat actually is.
Cons: Should have been painted a darker color to visually contrast with a white baseball for making contact easier.
joe
Pros: Great pop for a BBCOR. Great weight disturbustion. Nice grip. Would recomend to buy this bat.
Cons: The clear plastic handle thing comes loose easily
ABC
Pros: Great pop, out of this world feel, and perfect balance
Cons: NONE
Austin
Pros: Great balance - great pop. Ball seems to fly much better than other BBCOR bats
Cons: Plastic cap on the handle comes loose easily
AZDiamondDad
Pros: Great bat period. My 15yo son has hit several BBCORS and we went with the Cat5 based on reviews indicating it is balanced and has good pop. We have hit other BBCORs and the performance difference compared to BESR bats is easily detectable. Not at all with this bat. Over the years my son has has hit every major bat companies bat. Many were great, but trust me Marucci will prove big time in time
Cons: None.
mg15 C
Pros: this bat has an amazing grip and never stings. it has a great sweet spot. doesnt feel like a bbcor at all.
Cons: none
Conman
Pros: This bat has nice balance and very good pop for a bbcor bat. During my first batting practice session, I hit a line shot over the fence at 330 feet. Looking forward to using this bat during the next baseball season.
Cons: None at this time.
Drew, From IL
Pros: +Very Nice Handle +Very Good Sound +No Sting +Good Sweet Spot +Awesome Weight Distribution
Cons: -Gets Dirty Easily -The Picture Makes The Knob Look "Square" (It's Not)
Michael
Pros: Sweet sound when making contact, nice grip, evenly balanced, nice look.
Cons: Doesn't hit as far as some other composite/best bats. But this does compete with a lot of them.
Coach Drew
Pros: I bought this bat for my 15yr son.Excellent balance sweet sound ball jumps off it, way better his old Rawlings besr. Highly recommend it.
Cons: My playing days are over so I can't use it
Rek0104
Pros: Great feel as expected from Marucci. Hits similar to other BBCORs. Comfortable grip.
Cons: Grip doesnt last. Doesnt look as nice as other BBCORs but its about performance not looks and this bat performs well. I personally like the 5150 better but this bat is good to.
mr.tm
Pros: this bat has amazing pop. doesnt feel bbcor at all
Cons: its white so the ball mark shows easy
Anonymous
Pros: Great pop, well balanced, great grip and knob. I just swung this bat for the first time today, and I'm in love. Best BBCOR bat on the market.
Cons: None
Animal44
Pros: I just ordered this bat for my son. I took a gamble not seeing the bat but reading all the reviews sold me. It shipped fast we took him to the batting cage pitched to him and used the machine and he was crushing the ball! Excellent pop, long barrel and sweet spot. He has tried other BBCOR bats and this bat by far is the best. It doesn't have to be high priced to be a great bat!
Cons: NONE....
jbird
Pros: great balance, nice cushioned grip, awesome pop..best bbcor bat

Matt M
Pros: AMAZING bat! the grip is nice and yours hands never sting after a bad hit.
Cons: None, but my teammates always wants to use my bat.
Grizz15
Pros: Love this Bat. Great Balance. Great Pop for this new BBCOR. Better get used to hitting with true skills and not the bat. Time will tell just how much the bat will preform.
Cons: Scratches easy.
Bill bbcor
Pros: This is a very well balanced bat. My son has had his for 3 weeks now and is spraying the ball all over the field now. He was a primarily RCF power hitter but now is pulling it much better with this bat. You lose a little pop as you will with any bbcor vs composite bat but he has been quite impressed with this bats power and lack of vibration. He is Sold on it and very pleased.
Cons: Have seen none yet. The grip is holding up well so far and has been using it almost daily. The grip was the only negative we had heard about and we have seen no problem with his.
Dad of 2
Pros: Weight distribution appears as advertised. Vibration and shock when not hitting in the sweet spot is minimal. Both my sons Soph and Sr like the bats
Cons: End cap at knob with size and weight came out after 2 weeks. Son pushed it back in but it didn't go back in flush.
Speedster
Pros: Recently got Cat 5, our son loves it and crushed a homerun tonight on his 13U team to win the game. He loves the feel and pop it has..Uses it on his high school summer team..sweet!
Cons: Can't find any only that his teammates want to use it too.
tbwayne
Pros: feels great through contact, best bbcor i have swung yet, big barrel and it is weighted right
Cons: not very many had a problem with the shipping thats about it
Speedster
Pros: Bat has amazing pop. They say all BBcor bats have the same but this one feels better. The weight at the bottom really helps the bat head move threw the zone quicker. Also, the sweet spot feels amazing on the bat, feels like you dont hit anything and the ball goes for a ride.
Cons: No problems with the bat at all.
forerunner_12
Pros: Good pop, Does not jar hands, but if you hit the ball on the handle its not going anywhere. Feels just like a wooden bat. Great grip!
Cons: Sweet spot is on the end of the bat, and for a guy that likes to crowd the plate, it can be hard to get around on the ball.
Dad
Pros: we just received our Marucci, and played our first game with it. ALL THE PLAYERS said "what's that, I've never heard of it" after my son hit with it they all wanted to try it because of the sound and POP it has right out of the box."WOW"! Now all the kids are using it. Even the "Voodoo lovers". They all say wow it's so easy to swing and it has No STING or vibration when you hit it AWESOME BAT!!!!
Cons: EVERY ONE WANTS TO USE IT, including the Voodoo, lovers. This bat is a AWESOME BAT. WORTH EVERY PENNY AND MORE!!!
mombomb
Pros: I bought this bat for my 14yr old. He absolutely loves it! It has great pop and it sounds great when the ball comes off of it. He has already hit a triple over the center fielder's head and sprayed the ball throughout the outfield/infield. This is a great BBCOR bat!!
Cons: Everyone on his team wants to use it! My son guards it with his life!!
Homer
Pros: i love this bat, the grip is second to none it feels amazing in your hands. when you hit the ball the sound the bat makes is amazing. best bat i have ever bought. im 18
Cons: none
AA ex
Pros: very nice feel in hand, grip is comfortable. Ball feels very true of bat.
Cons: dosen't have distance of the BESR bat as it dosent compress, however i bought this for my 13yr son this way he will be acclimated to what will be standard going forward. I feel he may be disadvantaged a bit this year, but he will be in tune with BBCOR bats while other kids will be adjusting next year to his advantage. As an ex pro player i fully understand the changover from AL to wood bats
Anonymous
Pros: I'm very pleased with this bat. My son is hitting the ball well and there is very little vibration even if the ball hits close to the grip.
Cons: None.
Lefty
Pros: This is a well balanced bat, I have had it for a week and have already hit a home run with it.It has better pop than I expected.
Cons: Everyone wants to use it.
Henz
Pros: The 'Maruch' has been a team favorite for our club. It has good balance (not too top heavy) and has a good solid feel when connecting.
Cons: The grip has been terrible. after only a week the grip has become loose as opposed to several other new bats in our inventory that have not had any problems
#32 RYAN
Pros: Bat is well balanced. Nice feel. I'm a player who uses wood mostly. With this bat you don't have to change your swing from the wood much. Best non wood bat ever had. You can control the ball like with a wood bat. This is the way a bat should be made. No cheat bats. Let the Prospects Shine. Thanks Marucci!!
Cons: For those who depend on the bats to make them look good? Those days are over. BBCOR bats have plenty of pop to them. But BBCOR aren't going to help you hit those check swing shot to the warning track. These bats will show you who you really are. Bye Bye cheat bats!!
Anonymous
Pros: awesome grip,looks good,great pop
Cons: everyone wants to use it cause its new
vaca high bulldogs!
Pros: great bat! amazing pop for a bbcor. i took a chance buying this bat, and i dont regret it. balanced great, grip great, and good pop. bought bat based of reviews and it is one of the hottest bbcor bats out there!
Cons: almost everyone on my team of 24 is using it
32WRYAN
Pros: Nice grip, large barrel. When making contact feels like a wood bat. This bat allows you to still swing your wood bat and not make many changes to your swing. If you hit good with wood. You'll love this bat. Very nice sound from the bat when you make good contact. Loud beast sound! Love this bat. You have control of the ball.
Cons: Fact, These BBCOR bats aren't going to help you out. You have to be a hitter. No more half swings shots to the warning track. Fundimentals Required.
Peyton
Pros: Got this bat today and it is awesome! Did not think it would have that much pop because its a BBCOR but it surprised me. Definitely recommend this bat to everyone!
Cons: Everyone wants to look at it and grab it because its a bat they're not used to seeing, unlike Easton's or Demarinis
Champion B12
Pros: Seems durable. Well balanced.
Cons: Been playin' the game on elite teams for years - have hit with alot of bats. Disappointed with this bat. No pop.
Chris
Pros: This bat is amazing, the pop from the bat was more than expected. The instructor that gives my son hitting instructions couldn't wait to use it.
Cons:
Anonymous
Pros: Perfectly balanced, great pop. Never buy the first year of a product, this is Marucci's second and it's awesome.
Cons: Non
Anonymous
Pros: worth it, has great pop, very light, nice grip, everything
Cons:
Donky Kong DK!!!
Pros: Great grip, The barrels nice and hard hitting. You only need comfidence to use this bat.
Cons: You don't hit as far as composite, With the right batting stance you can almost hit just as far.
