Pros: Great bat that looks awesome. Lots of pop right out of the wrapper. No "sting". I like the seamless design. you cant even tell it's a two-peice bat unless you look close. Quality end cap. I would definitely recommend this bat.
Cons: Feels a little heavier than the -5 Demarini voodoo that I was using before but I didnt have any trouble getting the barrel through the zone. With that said, I like the Marucci black better than my 2012 voodoo.
CJ
Pros: Nice Looking Good Pop
Cons: Large paint chips exposing metal on bat after 1 use and Marucci will not stand by their product when this occurs. Have used DeMarini, Easton, Mattingly and none of them have had paint chipping like this one esp after 1 use.
sam
Pros: Awesome balance and no excess vibrations. Swings lighter than any other -5 we tried. Highly recommended for smaller players trying to increase their swingweight.
Cons: None yet. Whoever is worrying about paint chips is probably eating them!
Dr Dre
Pros: This bat is balanced really well. It feels super light and has alot of pop. The design of the bat is one of the classiest ones around. We are a fan of Marucci bats now!
Cons:

Cons: The paint scratches REALLY easy.

Pros: love it! No let down at all! First year using -5 and it feels better them some of my teammates -8. Great balance, large sweet spot, no sting. One of the best I have ever had, might go down as the best time will tell. I have hit with a lot of other top in bats, this one was hot right out of the wraper!
Cons: has a few chips in paint but paint doesn't make the ball jump!
Duke
Pros: A lot of pop. Good balance.
Cons: Paint chips very easily.
ELi

Cons: the paint comes off so easily,it like already gone now and ive had it for 2 months.
Baseball fanatic
Pros: Very light feel, good look of the bat. Very balanced.
Cons: Not much pop after about 100 hits. For lefties the bat grip it comes with gets messed up and needs new grip after a week.

#13FAN

Cons: None.
wa warrior
Pros: As stated by others the bat is well balanced and my son hits well with it. Good pop.
Cons: We bought this bat when it first came out. The paint held up during winter training, but after my son's first tournament it was a mess. Paints chips to the metal everywhere on the barrel. Saw other bats with similar chipping issues. Called Marucci and was told the first lot of bats produced had a paint defect issue and that they would replace. Also anti-vibration insert at the knob popped lose after a session in the batting cage. Hope the replacement bat holds up.
Colton
Pros: This bat feels like a not aproved perfectly broken in composite bat. the pop is incredible. AMAZING
Cons:
Raiderballplayer

Cons: Small paint chips, but who cares when your still hitting it 379 off the end!!!!

ajfalks
Pros: seems evenly balanced, a great bat
Cons: chips a ton especially at the end of the bat, not a fan of the all black, different color grip will fix that.

Pros: Great bat, with some serious pop. It is very balanced and looks great too. The knob really does prevent to much sting. Also many people are complaining about how the paint scratches, it does but it hard to notice. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
Cons: Is extremely balanced so it does take one round or so of BP to get used to it. Not a big problem at all though.
cory
Pros: AMAZING bat first, the most pop that i have ever had in a bat. very light
Cons: after 2 months it went dead and now i need to get a new one
C.J.
Pros: Amazing bat my teamate has one and now i am buying one
Cons: None
JayCT
Pros: U14 player loves the balance and good pop. Very easy bat to swing and has bat speed similar to a lighter bat due to that even balance.
Cons: Not quite the performance of a one piece composite, but great choice if your league bans composites or requires BBCOR -3 bats.
batdad
Pros: This bat is very hot right out of the wrapper. my 12 year old went with the 30/25. He plays on a Major travel team so I was worried it would be to heavy for the faster pitching. I was wrong as he hit lights out his first two tourneys with it. Highly recommended!
Cons: None yet, but we have only had it for a month.
RS
Pros: Great bat. its a great transition into high school play from my minus 9. it feels the same, its very balanced, big sweet spot. nice sound, nice end cap, nice nob and grip
Cons: none yet
Coach W.
Pros: Looks great very good pop and balence Got this bat for my son and took it to cooperstown he loves his new stick!!!! He battied .600 there with lots of extra base hits dble and HRs
Cons: none yet my research came up with 2 weaknesses one was the paint (our paint has held up) the other was the knob breaking off (that hasn't happened either) nothing about how the bat preforms
JBone
Pros: has great pop, light and balanced, overall just a great bat
Cons: none at all
Stoked
Pros: My 13 year old sons drop 5 feels like a drop 9. Just hit a bucket of balls and I'm very impressed with how nice this bat swings. Good pop hit several balls 230 plus feet. Marucci has something special going on with this design.
Cons: None
Jrod in C'bad
Pros: My 13 year old son was looking for a -5 bat to bridge him over to the BBCOR -3 required for high school baseball. I purchased this bat because he loves his Marucci AP5 wood bat; the reviews on JustBats.com were convincing; and the price was right. When he received the bat (earlier than expected), he liked the balance & look. He really likes the pop he gets from hitting the ball on the screws. I witnessed his first at-bats with 2 hard-hit liners to Center Field and one very hard-hit ground ball that rocketed past the ShortStop between the Left Fielder & Center Fielder all the way to the fence! We're sold, and are reviewing Marucci little league approved bats for my younger 11 year old son.
Cons: No negative comments at this time.
Rockets
Pros: 13u players hitting it well.
Cons: Paint chips easily.

Pros: Great bat, tons of pop and needs no breaking in. Also, very balanced and the no-sting handle helps a TON for when I get jammed.

gb-15
Pros: Great bat, at a great price.
Cons: n/a.
Johnjohn
Pros: Everything about it! Have tried other bats and none compare to the pop that this one has. Well, maybe one other that is now banned which is the first Combat DaBomb. My son loves this bat more than the Cat 5 he previously had. Were loyal to Marucci.
Cons: None so far....
Rodney I
Pros: Well balanced bat. I moved my 13 yr old son up to this bat from a -8.5 Louisville Slugger ExoGrid & this bat out performs it. May be because the Black is heavier (-5), but I believe it's because this bat is a well made bat with lots of pop.
Cons: Prefer another color. Our rival school's colors are black. Oh well, can't have it all...
Player
Pros: Great pop, great transition bat from a 2 1/4" barrel bat to a BBCOR bat.
Cons: The paint did chip, but who cares? I'm still getting on base.
