Description

Want to swing like the pros this season? Made from Easton's patented IMX Composite, this bat will have you dropping bombs this season! The IMX or Integrated Matrix Technology strengthens and optimizes the composite structure, giving you a bat with extraordinary performance and extreme durability. This durability is even further enhanced by Easton's CNT or Carbon NanoTube Technology. The CNT enhances the proprietary resin system in their composite bats, creating the longest lasting bats in the industry! The Synergy Tri-Zone features Easton's Single System Technology which uses a one-piece design to optimize performance by increasing bat control and balance. The end cap and taper of most bats are stiff, but with the Tri-Zone Technology, both areas are more flexible which greatly increases the hitting area. This bat has a slightly end-loaded extended barrel that will give players a burst of power at contact. The Synergy SCN18 features a 13.5 inch barrel length, giving it a maximum sweet spot. With extreme 100+ MPH performance, the Easton Synergy Tri-Zone is approved for play in USSSA, NSA, ISA, ISF, and SSUSA. It is not approved for play in ASA. Easton: Know-Feel-Be The Difference. This bat comes with Easton's Exclusive 400 Day Manufacturer's Warranty. Free Shipping!

Pros: I bough this bat off a friend and it has probably close to 500 swings on it. No webbing so I dont think durability will be an issue. Good pop but in my opinion I would rather hit the Stealth line. Most of my team prefers the Stealth over this bat also.

Cons: I typically hit one piece bats but in my opinion this bat is a little TOO stiff for my liking.

What makes it Non-ASA Approved? Bobby
All bats go through a testing. This particular bat when tested performed higher than the ASA regulations in return it was not able to receive the ASA stamp.
JH
It exceeded the 98 mph bat performance standard put in place by ASA, thus making it illegal for ASA play.
John
looking to buy a new usssa easton softball bat. can anymore give me a answer on which is better between the scn18 or the scn 20? Thanks. j
To be honest, you wouldn't go wrong with either. Both are fully composite with 100+ mph performance. Both have a slight end load. Key is the break in. Make sure you break them in before putting in games.
gamer
What's the difference between this bat and the Brian Wegman sc20? goblin
There is not a difference in the design of the bat. The only difference is the name on the bat.
K.B.
What's the actual scale weight on a 30 oz scn18? rob
Every bat will vary just fractions. If it says 30 oz, it will be close to that or dead on.
Linda
does this bat have the new usssa stamp so it can be used in 2013 wtp
This bat does not have the new stamp on it, but it is marked USSSA on the barrel.
Brad
Does this bat have the new stamp required for legality in Usssa for play in 2013 ? johnv
This bat features the old USSSA stamp, which is being grandfathered in for the 2012 season, but not the new stamp. All of our USSSA approved bats can be found here: http://www.justbats.com/products/softball%20bats~slow%20pitch/approved%20for~usssa/. Not all of these will have the new stamp, but there will be a picture of the new stamp actually on the bat if it is one that features it.
