Description

New for The New Easton Stealth Speed XL features the largest hitting area in the game. The Stealth Speed XL SSR2 has a 13.5 inch barrel, giving a great sweetspot and hitting surface. Unlike alloy that has the same strength and stiffness in all directions, composite fibers have very high strength and stiffness in the direction of the fibers but much lower strength and stiffness across the fibers. Easton has been able to customize the bat barrel flex using exclusive patented design technologies. The two piece design helps give the barrel of the bat a bit of a whip lash action, this in turn generates more bat speed at the head of the bat. Acting like a hinge, the ConneXion provides the most efficient energy transfer from handle to barrel, resulting in maximum bat head whip for a quicker bat and more power through the hitting zone. The Patented CXN Technology helps provide extra kick and increase bat head speed. The patented IMX Technology provides the best in materials, design and manufacturing process. The Stealth Speed XL SSR2 is approved by all associations including ASA, USSSA, NSA, ISA, ISF and SSUSA. The Stealth Speed XL also comes with Eastons exclusive 400 day manufacturers warranty.

Pros: Great bat . Had a home run my first game and I wasn't trying. I can't wait to see it broken in. I play in a men's A league so this was perfect for ropes to the fence consistently.

Pros: So i read all these reviews saying how people arent home run hitters but this bat made them one but i never believed them. Well my first night of league with this bat I hit my first home run ever. Plus this bat isnt even broke in. Ive hit many of the recent easton bats and this one is way better. The sweet spot on this bat just rockets the ball. And on hits of the end you still get a ton of power( thats how i hit my home run). This bat is awesome. If you are questioning this bat, dont. Its the new team bat.

Cons: So far none, but I only have around 400 hits on it. Great bat.

Pros: Huge Sweet spot, Hits on the inside of bat's barel still go into the outfeild. Hit the last 2 inches of the bat and the ball will fly! Won't hit a USSA ball over the fence but hits the middle of it. Great for placing the ball between outfielers

Pros: like everyone else said great bat, hot out of the wrapper

Cons: none yet. For the record: I dont know why someone would use a $300 bat in the cages. Composite bats arent designed for that kind of use. Cage balls are denser and heavier and cause too much stress for the material.

Pros: Great bat out of the wrapper! No break-in time needed. Many homers hit first game, in one word, BOMBS! Strongly suggest if you're looking for something legal in all associations! Great Price, Very happy!

Cons: Hit one off the end of the barrell and the capped cracked, but that can happen to any bat, and because of great service from justbats.com, I had a new one in 2 days.

Pros: This bat is truly amazing right off the rip. Immediately felt my swing improve by 50%. This is coming from using aluminum of coarse. I normally use a 27 ounce and figured would be better to step up to a 28 cause of the balancing of it I figured it would be better to have a little barrel weight.

Cons: None so far. Only that I'm going to have to scuff up a sweet lookin bat.

Pros: very nice bat, my dd enjoys the pop, and she has seen more home runs this season than any other in the pass. Other team members loves using this bat over all others

Cons: this bat should never be used in the cages, cracks appear after 400 hits or in our world 2 months, but bat still has great pop, even with cracks in the bat

Pros: Agree with everyone here - sick right out of the wrapper, and then kept getting hotter. This bat held it's own compared to a lot of the 100 MPH + bats I've used.

Cons: I managed to break the end cap at the end of the season, but it's getting replaced under warranty. Even after that - I still can't complain.

Pros: This Bat is great. I used it for the first time last weekend and hit very well. I really like way it pops off the bat. I like the flex on the bat it whips hard.

Cons: It does not have a good sound and it you barley miss the sweetspot is goes nowhere. I also am not a big fan of the grip it is not as comfortable as my bats in the past.

Pros: Right out of the wrapper this bat is on fire and just got better swing after swing. Even with the Cons below I still will have at least one of these in my bag at all times.

Cons: Durability an issue. About 400 swings and I have a rattle and a small crack. I am not a big masher just a line drive hitter so it shouldn't be showing signs of distress this early.

Pros: Unbelievably HOTT right out of the wrapper. Used it last night for first time - first at-bat ripped one at the short stop so hard had him playing in the outfield grass the rest of the night. Add in two more frozen rope lasers to the gaps and I am very pleased with my purchase. Very balanced, feels great, huge sweet spot. Can't wait till it breaks in.

Cons: Only used one night, but so far absolutely none.
