This MAXUM Ultra presents a rare one-piece, all-composite design on a BBCOR bat. With this bat, you will get the stiff feel that one-piece bats provide and it will feel like all the energy you put into your swing gets transferred into the baseball. As well, the barrel profile of this bat is going to be huge and therefore the sweetspot will be humongous. Lastly, do not forget about the re-balanced swing feel of this MAXUM Ultra BBCOR bat. Compared to the previous model, Easton added a little more heft to the barrel to allow power hitters to feel like they can really crush. However, contact hitters, don't be worried, you should still be able to whip this bat through the zone!

Bat is so Hot but gets no love! Coach K Coach

Pros: I think everyone over looks this bat cause its so cheap and everyone moving up from USSSA looks at Marucci and Demarini first. Once you get past the absurdly long break in you will notice the pitch of the bat gets quiet and more wood bat crack sound to the bat. Sweet spot is USSSA size and the ball flies off the barrel. I originally purchased the Mav1 and Voodoo but the Maxum just flat out performed them in games. Swings similar to the Marucci AM22 wood bat in terms of swing weight.

Cons: Slight end load and takes close to 1000 hits to break the composite in. USSSA version was a monster at every PG event we attended and the BBCOR version is just as good. If you like the alloy Ping then this bat will definitely not provide that.

Cons: Wont las as long compared to the other alloys but for the price u cant beat it and not bad when u hit the sweet spot

Pros: I haven't hit any good with any other bat started off hitting 133 this year and finally got this bat because I swung the 360 version 2 years ago and absolutely loved it and my average is slowly increasing

Big Surprise BDS Player

Pros: I bought this bat to be my practice/cage bat for my freshman year of HS. I also have the Warstic Gunner and have loved that bat too but it is very end loaded. This bat has an end loaded feel too but it isn’t as dramatic as my Gunner or the Goods bats I have tried. The big surprise was the size of the sweet spot being at least 2 inches bigger than I’m used to and the pop when a ball is barreled is noticeable. Based on Hit Trax stats my average exit velo has gone from 84.2mph up up 85.8 and max velo went from 87.3mph up to 91.2 all in the same week! Tapered grip is awesome and bat colors look great as well.

Cons: I’ve only had the bat for 10 days but no negatives that I can see/feel so far. I will say it sounds like each hit is breaking in the barrel more with it getting louder each time I use it but that was expected being a 1 piece composite.

Pros: * barrel is MASSIVE * slight endload * extremely forgiving especially on the end * good taper on the handle * feedback in sound will really tell you where you made contact (it sounds more like an alloy closer to the hands) * hit 3 high school homeruns with it * hit with it everyday for about a year now, and not seeing any webbing yet * the sound is just *chefs kiss*

Cons: * grip tape is made for a righty, so if youre a lefty, it will come off extremely easy. * can get a little bit of vibration, but its the worst on the hands. its not too bad tho.

Pros: My 14 yr. old says the bat has a great feel. Good on the hands on inside pitches. Lots of pop and it being slightly end l oaded just appears to add more exit velo on balls he hits. Hands down one of the best one piece composites bats I have seen him swing.

Cons: None so far. Bat has been durable and has not lost any pop

Pros: After a break-in session and through 3 games, Multiple hits, 2-Run Bomb and a Mishit pop up that carried to 315’ off the wall.... best way to describe sound is wood / non-existent, 100% pop and production... My son thickened the bat grip just a bit and LOVES the bat!!! Just changed from End-loaded 2020 Meta PWR, slight adjustment (lighter).... RAKING!!!! Great bat so far!!!!!!

Cons: If you’re looking for a loud bat that gives false hope and are impressed by the noise rather than the result based facts OR you question every mishit as “it’s the bats fault”... this is NOT for you!!!

Pros: *HUGE sweet spot! *Slight endload compared to the maxum 360, gives it power and more exit velo. *good twoards the hands, casual composite feel. *VERY boosty, handle gives much leverage and swing speed.

Cons: *a part on the plastic chipped off on the end cap, not a huge deal but it loses some swing wieght.

A BBCOR bat, like the Easton MAXUM ULTRA -3 BBCOR Baseball Bat: BB21MX, tend to last longer due to their thicker barrel walls. With that being said, it is always better to use one's game bat strictly for game swings and use either a wood or older bat for practice purposes.

The Easton MAXUM ULTRA -3 BBCOR Baseball Bat: BB21MX is a one-piece all composite bat with a slight end load swing weight and the the LS Select 719 is a two-piece hybrid (alloy barrel and composite handle) this is slightly end-loaded in feel. Since the Maxum is a one piece and the LS Select 719 is a two piece, there may be more of a chance of sting/vibration with the Maxum on a mis-hit. The trade off is that the Maxum has a larger barrel/hitting area.

It would be hard to say how a hitter may feel the weight of the Easton MAXUM ULTRA BBCOR Baseball Bat: BB21MX would be in comparison to a Voodoo ONE or MAXUM 360. Being that this bat is slightly end-loaded, and the other bats he has used are balanced, he will most likely notice the difference and it would solely be up to whether or not he prefers that swing weight feel.
