Pros: I decided to raid the barn for a bat. My cousin is addicted to Anderson's so, I knew she would have a good one. I was despising my Catalyst, it was a dud, and I grabbed the last bat there, a Rocketech. Homerun, but after that it died. She then gave me the TechZilla, claiming she didn't like it. Well, move over, it's mine now! I love it, power hitting it every time it seems. :) Great borrow
Cons: I don't hear the "pop" that I did out of the RockeTech, but the "ping" is pretty good too. I guess, if I want it bad enough, I could buy my own bat instead of stealing hers though, haha

Pros: Bought two 2011 Techzilla FP bats this season for my 10 and 14 year old daughters. Both were average hitters before. The 10 year old is now the slugger of the team and is averaging one home run per game including a grand slam and one game with the home runs. The 14 year old also improved her hitting stats and got a few home runs and several triples and doubles. This is a GREAT BAT!!!! Thank you Anderson Bat Company for such great product.

Pros: My 9 year old daughter loves this bat. I bought this bat when she was 8. When actually she played at a 8u field she hit it out about 6 times.
Cons: My daughter is now in 10u. The bat is alittle heavy now for her. Still a great bat she is just swinging alittle late with it. Once she gets her bat speed down with 10u pitching she will be hitting them like she use too!

Pros: I play mens fastpitch and this bat is awesome. It has tons of pop. I wasn't sure how it would be right out of the box but even right out of the box it hit like a champ.
Cons: only con i have is i get some sting on the hands from this bat not much but enough to know it
Glove
Pros: great pop, my daughter just used this bat and went 4 for 5 with a triple a double and 2 singles.
Cons: u get what u pay for

What is the difference between the 12 month warranty and the "Proof at the Plate" program? Broski
Can the Techzilla be used in cold weather. I know composite bats can't be used under 60 degrees. We live in upstate NY and after August and before May it's likely the temp is under 60 degrees. Is it OK to use the Techzilla in close to freezing temps. Mark
Would this bat be a good bat to use in cold weather. 40-50 degrees fah. Dori
About the Brand

A High-Tech Engineer, a Sales Manager for a chemical company, and a Professional Yacht Racer with a background in mechanical engineering are not likely to have much in common. But they did, and still do. You guessed it…SOFTBALL.
Our passion for “Diamond” sports goes back many years, but it was about 10 years ago that we started manufacturing and private labeling our bats for other companies. In 1999, Steven Anderson designed a new multi-wall high-performance bat that featured our patented “Power Arch” technology. After thorough testing, it was ready for the company that we designed it for, but they were going through a transition period and were not ready to move on it.
Here was the bummer, our team was counting on using these bats in a big tournament that was just a month away and we could not put their graphics on the bats until the deal between the two of us was inked.
Steven offered a solution … they are already certified by the governing bodies so why don’t we put our own graphics on them and use them in the tourney. What a great idea and that is exactly what we did.
I was driving to the plant the next morning wearing my championship “T” shirt and had no idea that when I arrived at 6:30 am that the message machine would be filled and the phones would be ringing. The messages and the calls were all basically the same … “How do I get my hands on one of those new Anderson Techwraps”?
That is how it started, and since then we have released the FlexTech, FastTech, RocketTech, TechZilla, Pyrotech, and we are not done.
Let me tell you a little secret……THE BEST IS YET TO COME…GO DEEP, GO VERY VERY DEEP
