| The handle of these bats is handcrafted right here in the USA from a laminated hickory for added durability and a stiff feel. In the barrel, the lightweight feel of birch helps keep the length to weight ratio down. Due to the stiff handle, the hardened birch barrel is ultra-responsive and transfers energy to the ball more efficiently. The finishing process is a tedious one, broken into four days. MacDougal and Sons uses their signature compression machine to pre-compress the wood. Next, they inject a urethane finish to ensure the stiffness. After sealing the birch barrel off, the bats get 3 heat-cured coats of marine-grade polyurethane. MacDougall and Sons is so confident in the handcrafted quality of their bats that they protect you from any manufacturing defects in the bat, such as joint failure, by offering a limited one-year manufacturer’s warranty. Additionally, they offer an industry-leading 4 month breakage warranty to ensure your bat withstands the trials of game play. All bats are BBCOR certified and are legal for high school and collegiate play. Produced in two models, the M-10 is great for those who love the 110 turn model’s large 1.00” handle and balanced swing weight. |
