Pros: Just used it in my batting cages in my backyard with leather covered balls and the ball was flying off the bat it felt really good and my first game with it is tomarrow... HOPE IT GOES WELL
Cons: The weight is slightly strange because although you can get a very fast swing with it... it is more top heavy than a lot of easton BBCOR bats. Still over all probably the best bat ive owned!
Anonymous
Pros: Nice design, good pop and breaks in quickly. My son loves it. A freshmen in HS he was forced to give up his dimerini c4 that he loved but has not missed a beat with this one. Great bat for line drive hitters.
Cons: none
Matteeboi
Pros: One of the best bats I've owned first at bat hit it over a 320ft fence and I'm only 14. Love the grip and the feel of the ball bouncing off the bat.
Cons: Absolutely none
Joe
Pros: Great pop, nice feel, great weight distribution, cool design, legit handle
Cons: No "ping" whatsoever, other than that, it's a great bat
20 buck T
Pros: the easton power brigade S2 is the BBCOR bat to buy. Well balanced and swings thru the hitting zone very quickly. It is made for line drive don't let that stop you from buying it if you think you have power. My son is 14yrs old and hit with power loved it. Hit line drive plus 330+ yards with the S2. It has a very nice barrell not so big that your bat drags thru the hitting zone. I have the S1 and S2 both are really great bats.
Cons: NONE i can't stress it more this is the bat for 2012
Joe
Pros: Good balance and feel
Cons: Easton has a problem with the connection, on my 4th bat and all have broken at the connection.
Rick
Pros: Good Balance. Nice pop for BBCOR.
Cons: None
Password
Pros: Nice Handle. Good weight distribution.
Cons: little pricey but, worth every bit!
jacob
Pros: has good pop it is better then a lot of bbcor bats out there.
Cons: the cxn rubber part that holds the 2 piece together broke off. and easton only lets you return one bat a year.
HR MAN
Pros: Great bat , easy break in I love this bat.
Cons: None
high school freshman
Pros: Prob. the best bbcor I have swung yet. Has alot more pop and better balance than most bats. Im 5'7 140lbs and i hit one to the fence the other day
Cons:
BeastHR22
Pros: Best bat i have ever seen! Good price to!
Cons: NONE!
Gunnar
Pros: I have been using this bat for a few weeks now and I really like it. I love the weighting and the barrel isn't obnoxiously large. It feels just like a BESR bat and has great pop. (I'm a senior in high school 5'10, 160lbs by the way)
Cons: Ball marks get left on the bat over time. Not a problem though because it kinda looks cool.
anonymous
Pros: I am a high school coach and bought 2 of these for my guys in 32 and 33 in. They love em. Liked em more than the S1 even. But...
Cons: We had to have them both replaced before we even played a game. Both bats broke at the connection between barrel and handle.
j train
Pros: i just got this bat today and i was hitting bombs i cant wait to hit in a game
Cons: none this bat will be the beast 1 you will hit with
freddy
Pros: good grip, wonderful sweet spot, nice size barrel, not too much flex and i hit a 345 ft bomb i couldn't even hit that far with the exogrid2 and im 14yrs old
Cons: people say it snaps but nothing like that so far
Mhodges
Pros: good pop
Cons: My son is on his third bat in 2 months. They continue to break at the conection point. A 110lbs 13 year old should not be able to break a $300 bat with normal use. Nike here we come.
John
Pros:
Cons: Not worth the money. Didn't make it 3 months and the 2 piece seperated.
Jordan
Pros: Light Swingweight, gets throught the zone quicker, and a lot of pop. Also love the no sting when using 2 piece technology.
Cons: None
baseball
Pros: looks cool
Cons: it doesnt hit good and has no pop sounds like a dead bat when you hit it
John T.
Pros: Easton is very good at customer service, we found that out with this purchase
Cons: The S3 has a major defect issue. My son is on bat #3 and it just broke. Bought #1 in February and it is now May. They break at the connection, bat starts to rattle and loses all pop as it is no longer rigid. Can't play with it broken and they seem to break at the 2 week mark. Easton needs to fix this on the next generation of these bats.
freshman
Pros:
Cons: first bat had a rattle. received the s2 for replacement, had it 8 at bats hit 200 balls total and it now has a large dent in the barrel. should hold up to a freshman in a small 3a school.
batter
Pros: great pop
Cons:
Brennan
Pros: The ball jumps off the bat
Cons: The weight is off balance a little bit
aakid
Pros: good pop at first
Cons: rubber thing came off right before the season got a new one and towards the end of the season lost pop rubber thing came off again and now i can twist the barrel like twisting on a pool stick wouldnt get this bat
Justin H
Pros: Used this bat in my first game and I already love it. Ended up getting the game winning triple. Great for line drive hitters.
Cons: None.
JHilk20
Pros: Great bat. Nice grip. Well balanced weight to height distribution. I was batting .000 but after purchasing this bat I'm now batting .400
Cons: A little pricey, but worth the money if you have it.
Andrew
Pros: I am a highschool/ AAU baseball player and i got this bat for the season. Hits well
Cons: Lasted for less than ten games for me. Connection broke for my bat. small sweet spot. I do not recommend this bat and/or any other Easton bat
Drew
Pros: Looks cool, great grip and good pop.
Cons: I heard the cxn breaks off but that hasn't happened
mike
Pros: When its new it is great
Cons: On second bat in two months. Today second bat broke between the barrel and handle in the middle of a tournament. won't be buying another Easton bat. Two bats in this amount of time for a 110lb kid is a problem they need to address.
Joe
Pros: Good sweet spot. Easy to get through zone. Comes off the bat hard
Cons: The grip on the bottom started to peel off after a while...wasn't a big deal still a great bat.
SAM
Pros: Great pop for a bbcor great balance and feel, I`m 14yrs and in our second round of pony all stars regionals. next yaer is high school ball.
Cons: Purchased the bat in march 2012 and broke in just five months between the barrel and handle the black plastic broke behind the cxn rubber and they are loose from one another. I am waiting for a replacment and what if that one breaks? for paying $300.00 I hope I don`t have to throw it away. Easton needs to fix the defect!
silver slugger
Pros: Great balance, looks cool . have had well over 250 at bats with no duribilty issues.
Cons: Sounds like a wood bat.
alstar11
Pros: amazing pop, perfect grip and perfect weight!!!!!
Cons: none
yudders
Pros: The pop is really good and the bad speed is insane! Even though it'd the speed series, its great for power hitters. I bombed one over a 302 center and I'm in 8th grade!
Cons: I wish the barrel was a little longer because you can get Jammed easily if you don't have quick hands.

Cons: the cxn thing came off on my first one the 2nd one the same thing happened but im now on my 3rd one and nothing has happend yet
Billy
Pros: The bat has amazing pop, and the sound of it coming off the barrel is incredible. Im not a home run hitter, but the other day, I hit 3 home runs at batting practice
Cons: None I've found yet
JJ
Pros: This bat has great pop and power. Also, has a nice design and there isn't sting coming off of the bat, you can't feel anything at all.
Cons: If you like balanced bats this isn't for you. It is definitely a power bat.
tripley18
Pros: Very good bat.
Cons:
Andrew
Pros: Great bat with good pop. BBCOR bats typically last a season due to the amount of abuse it gets during the season. Great Price, Best Speed bat
Cons: Note that price does not determine the bat, the person holding the bat determine how good its going to be, save your money. They're all the same bat with small differences.
Anonymous
Pros: It is very balanced and has alot of pop. Didnt trust Easton with pop before but this bat came thorugh this time. Great bat
Cons: The paint chips and everyone wants to use it
Dakambian Motombo
Pros: good bat overall, i am very impressed with the hitting ability of the bat. It is slightly end loaded, but the lightweight barrel makes up for that.
Cons: the bat broke in two pieces after 3 games. i would recommend the s3 over this bat
Kokopuffs
Pros: Weight is good, sweet spot is an ok size.
Cons: I hit it off the tee, and after my tenth hit it started rattling, and it lost pop. I didn't even hit live off of it.
Sim25
Pros: My son loves the bat. The swing and pop is great. It hits very well.
Cons: Noticed that there was a slight gap between the CXN connector and the aluminum portion of the bat. I have returned to Easton for either a fix or replacement. NOTE: If you ever have to return a bat to Easton purchased online, you must have your receipt of purchase and that can't be a Pay Pal receipt.
Jake
Pros: Good weight distribution. Great pop. Good for contact hitters. No rattle.
Cons: Chips easy. Small sweetspot.
Cash money
Pros: nothing
Cons: This bat is good at first but after a week it gets a rattle and loses all pop. I just got bat #2 and it broke after about one week. Advice: Don't even think about purchasing this bat and never buy a two-piece bat from Easton again in your life.
easton s2 power brigade Chance player
Pros: im going im to my senior year, so far ive had two of this type of Easton bat, ive hit 7 homeruns in 10 games. this bat is the best bbcor bat I have been able to get my hands on. ive tried the rip it, the voodoo's, the mako, 5150s and still go back to this bat because of its amazing pop. the barrel did start to spin, but as long as it spins it doesn't effect the pop believe me. best bbcor bat on the market. too bad its discontinued.
Cons: none
AMAZING drew player
Pros: this bat has pop i use besr bats as well as bbcor and this bat outpreformed besr bats! what? impossible? not really...... i hit a 400 foot homer with this bat and couldent hit near that with besr....
Cons: CXN peice is flimsy it broke but while i had the bat i loved it .
