Pros: My first two swings out of the wrapper with this bat I hit homeruns. I am a power hitter but was really impressed with the pop!
Cons: I took two rounds of batting practice in 62 degree weather only using .52/300 balls and this bat cracked badly. Now having to deal with mailing it back to DeMarini and hopefully getting it back to start the season. It cracked in a jagged spider web design. Good bat but have to be honest, wish I had spent my $299 on a different bat.
Pros: Great feel, great sound, hot out of the wrapper, CRUSHES the new 52/300 balls!
Teammate picked this stick up for upcoming season -- he hit it at BP, then brought it to us at team practice, and out of the wrapper, this thing is DEADLY! Love it. Swung it more than I swung my Fu Dawg..and I love my FD!
Cons: None that I can think of....I'm a simple kind of guy on graphics, so I think they could use a little work, so I gave it 4 stars..other than that, this stick is HOT!
Pros: Tonight was my first game with this bat. After getting tested before the game, I took the wrapper off without any bp. I went 3-3 with 2 bombs and a triple.
The bat is very hot out of the wrapper but I can tell that once it really opens up..........whew.
It definitely doesn't sound or swing like any Demarini I have tried in the past. I am typically an Easton man but I wanted to try something different with the new 52/300 core ASA balls. Only 3 swings in, but I am definitely impressed so far.
Cons: I have no cons really. I am not the biggest fan of the graphics.........but graphics don't hit the ball harder.
Cons: I bought this bat for my team. The first game we used it, the bat cracked. Now we have shipped it back. DeMarini is out of stock of this bat and is not planning on making more until May 9th. They said it would be May 15th by the time I got a new bat. So we will have played 6 games in a 12 game season before I get a new bat. Very disappointed.
“Perfect Bat for the .52/300 balls, GREAT team bat.”
Pros: Bought this bat in 28oz for our CoEd team. Team loves it, even the girls use it. We lack any power hitters, but it's turned our hard shots and grounders into lasers and missles. Bat has a good sweet spot and mishits tend to carry pretty well. Took some time for me to adjust to the sweet spot as it was a bit further down the barrel that what I'm used to.
Cons: When I first hit this bat, I tried over swinging with it. I read the reviews and loved the look. Was too excited to hammer the ball. LET IT DO THE WORK! Stay relaxed and groove your swing. If you get that relaxed flick of the wrist, this bat will reward you with some nice hits. Hit a lead off HR last night taking a very relaxed swing. Thought it was just a nice line drive and was busy sprinting to 2nd before it cleared the fence. This bat will suprise you like that.
Pros: i have never hit a homerun at our home field until this bat. Ive always hit shots and been a doubles, triple kind of guy no power hitter. right out the wrapper after 20 hits i hit obe out at 325 and another in 45 degree weather at 340 so this bat is deff hot. love the feel looks and seems to be doing great with the 52/300 balls
Pros: This is by far the hottest ASA bat I have ever swung out of the wrapper. Took first bp with it today using 52 core balls and the ball was jumping off the barrel. The other good reviews on this bat were right on.
Cons: I normally do not like end loaded bats but it is only slight and the pop makes up for it.
Pros: The bat crushes the ball. It sounds great, my team hadn't hit a homer yet and we maxed out with 3 in the third inning. Guys were hitting homers when they didn't mean to. I had to put the bat away at that point.
Cons: I heard durability issues and I'm not sure yet just unwrapped it before our game, but the warranty is for a year
Pros: Second cut went 315' with 3/4 speed swing! Has a distinct sound and is a very solid balanced bat. Everyone that swings it says they dont feel a thing when they hit it on the sweet spot. 50 cuts in and no paint scratches or any sign of durability issues. Gets hotter with each hit put on it! Get you one!
Cons: Still early to know the durability on this, but it seems like it will last.
Pros: Awesome bat! Had it and balls just fly off this thing! Break in is pretty quick like most ASA bats. Graphics and style are sick too.
Cons: Bat sounds very weird and very off when hitting balls. A guy from my team has a similar 2-piece DeMarini bat and they sound totally different. My flipper cracked really fast. I would stear clear from the .44 balls with this bat
Pros: Out of the wrapper and first swing hit a bomb about 360ft. Over the next 20 cuts hit a few around 400. Hitting 52s and 44s mix. Have around 100 swings on it now and still holding up. By far my favorite bat.
Pros: This bat feels good. It has the thicker handle and great balance swing. The new ASA balls 52/300 suck and this bat is helping bring some pop back to our team. It took a few games and the ball is starting to carry again. The ball doesn't "pop" like it did with the 44 core, but it surprises you the way this bat makes the ball carry. I would recommend this bat to others.
Pros: I asked around whats the best new bat and the flipper kept coming up. My teammate had one so i started using it and im no homerun hitter, but with this bat i started hitting it out. Extremely hott!n! out of the wrapper. This bat added 30 feet to my distance.
Pros: Bat has a very nice sweet spot and helped put a lot out of the park. Did not take long to break in.
Cons: The only issue with this bat is the painted cracked and began peeling off. The bat was deemed illegal for use in my league do to safety concerns. Sent it back and after a week or two I received a new one. This fall the bats paint continued to crack and peel again. The bat is no longer good for a second time.
Pros: This bat has POP! In year one as a team we hit 0, yes, zero home runs. We're a bunch of guys who haven't played ball at all or in many years. I bought this bat for personal use, but once everyone saw how it hit, everyone was using it. We went from zero home runs in a season to averaging 4 per game as a team...all with this bat. Feels great and has tremendous pop
Cons: Not a thing. Came out hot straight out of the wrapper
Pros: this bat has amazing pop. im not a big guy or even close to a power hitter but i hit 2 over the fence at BP. feels great and swing feels effortless. really enjoyed using it.
Cons: the bat cracked after about 50 hits. its a 26oz and i've heard maybe the lighter ones lack enough material for proper durability. don't know if that's true but i'm requesting it be replaced with a 27oz by demarini. they are sooo backordered on these, i miss it already.
Pros: Break in was quick, hit about 50 in the cage to open up. If you like a bat that has flex, this is will do. Can easily clear 300 ft fence, but so can everything else.
Cons: Broke in our first outdoor BP session, total of about 100 cuts "only hit 52 core". Not a fan of the grip, gets marked up really quick, and you feel like you need to baby the bat everytime you hold it.
Cons: Not sure why everyone is raving about this bat actually. It has average pop, and alright feel to it. But price is a little high considering I go back and forth from this bat to a $100.00 bat and it has same amount of pop!
